Every time I see this, my head just goes "It's like those MIcromaster Combiners, but significantly bigger". On that note... HASBRO, YOU COWARDS, GIVE US A STARSHIP ENTERPRISE FORT MAX!"
The reason why Han doesn’t have that much articulation is because they had to turn him into the front so they had to take into account the cockpit the gap in the middle and the dish while chewy had to turn into pretty much a brick
Holy cow, I’m glad to know that I’m not alone with my experiences on the old figure, my Han figure is pretty much intact but the Chewbacca completely disintegrated. I always thought that I didn’t take good enough care of it, and it was a very special toy to me that I got for Easter when my little brother (he’s fine now, this was 2009) had cancer. I still remember opening my Easter Basket in a hospital room.
I got one recently and the second I took it out of the packaging, the right arm of chewbacca and the crotch piece of han solo snapped clean off. Really a shame since the figure is so old, but eh. I can't do anything about it.
My dream Star Wars crossovers line would be the actual Transformers characters in Star Wars alt modes. Give me Seekers as TIE fighters! It would be awesome to army-build those. Death Star Megatron, so he's still a big gun, and maybe prequel-era vehicles for the Autobots. Mirage and Jazz could be Podracers, while you could get Bumblebee as Naboo Starfighter (so yellow)... I mean, it seems so obvious. New characters like Ectotron are fun and all, but I think I'd rather see existing characters reimagined.
There was a second figure released with this one, a Darth Vader that turned into a Tie Advanced. It comes with his lightsaber, a tiny Vader like these two tiny figs, and 6 storm troopers. Like this one it’s much better built than the old ones and feels nice. So if this one is unknown, the Vader that came out with it might be even more unknown.
Yeah, I bought the original ones from my local Wally World back when they first came out. Ran into them again a few years ago and thought I'd get them out to play with. My Chewie straight up just 'NOPED' itself out of existence and disintegrated. My Han was okay, I think, but my Chewie decided it was time for a permanent retirement. I'm _still_ trying to get a hold of the new ones, though everywhere I look they're either sold out or priced so high it gives my wallet an aneurism.
I found the original Chewbacca one, incomplete in a toy show, it’s arm broke off the instant I picked it up, and since I “broke it on purpose” I was charged 15$ dollars for it, it can’t even fully transform because the Han Solo wasn’t with it. I’m never rough with toys so it was probably falling apart and was going to break no matter what. PAIN
I’ve been on a bit of a star wars kick lately so this video couldn’t have come at a better time! But now I kinda wanna track one of these down but that probably wont go anywhere
@@nat1attack249 Ok. You remember what the setup was? Like, the review setup? For example, if it was a tan or silver table, with a black backdrop with a face in red on said backdrop, then it most likely was Emgo.
My chewie just crumbled on mine but I was able to transform them back into the falcon so that's how they stay on my shelf, and to be fair that's still an awesome display so I'm only slight irked he crumbled.
I had the 2006 Falcon, and despite playing with it a LOT, it never fell apart from GPS for me. Maybe I'm just lucky I never suffered GPS from that nor Transmetal Megatron
Yeah I have the original and the arm of chewie and the crotch of han completely shattered. I hate to see such an old figure break, but it's better knowing I couldn't prevent it. Still hurts to not have the option of displaying chewbacca.
I love this thing. Glad they made this to replace the old cruddy one. Even if it didn't disintegrate it was pretty terrible looking. I got it when I decided to make a dedicated crossover shelf after the collaborative line took off. Of the old line I have only X-Wing Luke (terrible) and Death Star Vader (will never part with). Maybe I'll break out Luke just to stand there and look embarrassed.
Interesting how the bots are reversed from the og. Being hans arms are where his legs were. Unfortunately chewy looks squat compared to his former self
always been disappointed this was a takara-only release. it’s really neat and feels like a real miss not to bring it to western markets in some capacity.
I actually thought too this was the original and had no idea Hasbro had tried this again in 2018. Even though Siege was was just starting up this still looks and feels very Combiners War era so not a fan. Never bothered with any of the original Crossover figures but did experience the Deathstar Darth Vader as a cheap thrift store buy. Surprisingly large, intricate, and durable with lights and sounds for days. While the idea of Star Wars crossover Transformers never appealed to me as a collector the rumored one could prove decent following the trends in engineering/articulation as most modern figures. Hoping for a Transformable X Wing.
Am I the only one who'd like to see some new Star Wars X Transformers Collab Figures? & each SW vehicle/potential altmode is simply that (not the actual character as a TF); & the botmodes are all completely their own characters, but with _some_ aspects of the designs _inspired_ by a certain character(s) that is associated with said vehicle/potential atmode, but again, is completely unique? Like, for example, Luke's Red-5 X-Wing as a TF who, in botmode, has a headsculpt/"helmet" thats _inspired_ by an X-Wing helmet & has an orange visor; not literally Luke as a TF who transforms into his Red-5 X-Wing? With maybe 2 accessories being a Blaster & a Lightsaber? And maybe they can do the same for other franchises/IPs, such as Marvel, DC, etc. I am [the only one]??
@@FennekinTF Yeah, And I'd want the mellinium falcon to be like the number one figure as a titan and then the rest are just other small vehicle as transformers
@@Autobot-Revs Ya. I'd kill for a Voyager Class Red-5 X-Wing! He'd be a new character, not just Luke as a TF, & his head/"helmet" would be X-Wing Helmet inspired with an orange visor, ofc. His accessories could easily be a Blaster & a Lightsaber! A TIE Advanced would be cool, too. And a TIE Intercepter, too. The Slave-1, Razorcrest, & N-1 Starfighter would be cool, too!
@@Autobot-Revs For an X-Wing? Nah, Voyager. X-Wings aren't that small. A Voyager would work for the size, engineering, & all that jazz (no pun intended). A HEAVY retool of SS86 Blurr might work for Luke's Landspeeder, or just a Landspeeder, in general.

Someone remade it in 2018
so interesting that chewbacca transforms completely backwards from the original one…

They turn the cool but flawed figure and fix it too perfection

I wish the robots could combine into a bigger robot too. A Han Solo and Chubaca Combiner is an awesome concept

Not old chewy having gps! 😂
I didn’t forget but I’ve tried. The agony of being a child with the original breaking when it was my favorite toy😢
I had the original version and i can confirm i had s lot of fun with it before it disintegrated after a while.

I legitimately loved the original version of this set.
I had the original chewbacca part of the millennium Falcon.
yes, the GPS was HEAVY with that guy.
If you know what to look for Buyee can be an absolute steal, I got the entire Takara Superlink toy line for sub $300 shipped.
I never forgot the Star Wars TF. I didn’t know they redid them.
I think this line could work (my personal opinion) if they use new head sculpts (like custom heads), better quality plastic, and do more play testing.
an oldy but a goodie in someone's eyes.
My 2006 version of this is still on display. I didnt even realize the 2018 one was reengineered.
If we ever got a third Falcon I’d kinda be interested in seeing ROTJ or TFA ones that split into Lando and Nien Numb or Rey and Finn respectively
Easily the most G-rated video he’s put out😂
I still want these so badly!

I want it. I need it. Transformers and Star Wars are my two favorite franchises
I forgot they made a newer one, same for the Darth Vader TIE Fighter.
Was so random that they brought the line back for only 2 releases.
Han looks far better than the og, but I prefer how cheewies legs worked on the OG
Is siege really six years old already?
Man.
I’m gonna be brutally honest that is one of the best tf shows probably second tfp takes first
This is surreal, I was just thinking about these guys yesterday

I have the 2006 version, found it at a thrift store, both of Chuwbacca's arms broke the first time I transformed it, it was mint in box too
they look great, from the old crossover I have/had the imperial shuttle and Sith infiltrator
They should make a titan class millennium falcon
I'd take a Voyager Class Red-5 X-Wing, please!
Also keep up the good work toy guy 👍
I completely forgot these two existed, but I do remember seeing them in a video awhile ago. I don't remember from who though
Was it a review or a different video?

I still have the first version of it. Actually love the headsculpt better. But one of the Chewbacca arm broke because of GPS.
Didn’t know this existed. I had the original one. Was a figure I quite liked as a kid until it atomized.
I had the same problem with the OG one, i think I've still got pieces of chewie's legs in a tub somewhere
Imagine if they made a full reboot of the toy line I would love that

Whats the red and orange bot at 8:38?? He looks immaculate.
the SDCC (?) version of Titans Return Sentinel Prime
at least it doesn't have breaking gold plastic syndrome like the other one did
