I love the newer figures for having less kibble and better engineering. I just wish they were bigger.
Deluxe and voyager has gotten a bit smaller this year but I'm guessing budget issues since plastic must be a tad more expensive
At least he scales with other ss toys

Most of those “stolen copies” are from Australia where they released it wayy earlier than america
Yeah nah, the only figure we've had release early down here is legacy motormaster and that's because big W negotiated it as a timed exclusive. For the most part we get figures a lot later than the US.
The stolen copies are all factory samples or rejects coming out of the factories in Vietnam, hence the missing packaging, occasional non final paint apps, and shoddy QC

I wonder if the Terrorcon symbol on his grill represents Transit. We just had him announced and he didn't seem to be in the trailers. Might off him for failing to kill the bots or something.
I think Transit will get killed by Optimus and Scourge finds his body and takes his insginia. Then again, Transit has a Decepticon insignia on his forehead.

Damn Scourge I dont think Ive been this impressed with a movie toy since....DOTM Sentinel prime.
Freezer looks better on his arm upside down using the blade as a support going between freezers legs, also in truck mode you can leave the cannon on freezers back tucked the way it is in robot mode facing forward with the truck making it a mobile artillery cannon.
0:48 You know, you *can* filter out any furnace noise in post by recording a long sample of the furnace hum and use that to cancel out the furnace in the recording.
Scourge even looks like the animated version of Lockdown. I dont see a single resemblance of optimus on him lol
Every TF Movie brings at least 2-3 cool new figures; maybe one worth KEEPING.

He always complains about the furnace making noise in the background of his videos but yet I never hear it at all like it has absolutely no effect on the audio to me, I never get why he always complains about it, i can hear everything just fine 😅

Bro Scourge's arm blade swinging into his hand is SO DANG COOL.
Honestly Scourge in terms of his appearance is both super cool and badass and kinda weird, janky, and bizarre. He just confuses me quite a bit in both modes.
Thanks for easing my concerns about Scourge's backpack. His status as best figure in the wave is confirmed.

I'm still disappointed it looks different from the trailer. This figure is clearly based on the concept art instead of the final design.

I got scourge a couple of days ago and managed to pose him in both the Chad meme pose and the Axel in Harlem pose, so the play value is above and beyond for me.
Scourge is easily my favorite design to come out of this film so far. He just looks downright terrifying. I can’t wait to get him. I just got Freezer, and I love his design too. Once I get Battletrap and Scourge, I don’t really think I’ll need many more of the ROTB toys.
I hate to be that guy but, really? Why does everyone like this figure so much. It looks nothing like him. His shoulders are the wrong shape, his neck too long and long skinny legs which looks ugly. This figure makes him look less scary and as a joke imo.
The design of the figure of scourge was the one used in test screenings and basically the final film before the film got delayed scourge design here was gong to be the final design.hasbro dint had no time to remake the figure to have his final design since the figure is basically finished they dont need to remake it again this happned with some past transformers figures using there ealry concept/designs also sorry for my bad english not my first launguage

I really like Cheetor for how balanced he is, really. I have no issues when trying to make him stand on one arm. And the mix of fur and plain surfaces also works for me.
Honestly think cheetor works better as Tigatron
I think the furnace is fitting for this review given that Scourge himself has a straight up furnace inside of him

Imagine another SS leader class Scourge with a mold that is more accurate to the movie. One possible way would be a version of Scourge where he transforms/integrates into that ship he travels with at the start of the movie. The ship can even be a weaponizer, coming with all the arsenal and weapons we see Scourge use in the movie than just his big claw and regular bland sword pieces. Again his only transformation would be to become part of the ship he travels on, in turn sacrificing the truck mode.

The wait is agonizing, but it's going to be worth it come early to mid April.
Worst part is no specific delivery date, it just says "April 2023" and only that.

I kinda find it funny that he says that he doesn't look like Optimus Prime, yet in that same sentence, the top of the head does look like Bayverse Prime's. Like, if it's his opinion, I respect it, but the top of Scourge's dome behind his mask does have the same structure that Prime did in the first three films and the beginning of AOE.
Like, I get that a lot of people are probably being annoying about it(and they really should stop being annoying), but I do have to agree with them on this.
Just got mine in from Hasbro and it cracked on the back hinge. One should still be careful That being said, it's a gorgeous figure.
Studio Series Rise of the Beast Scourge looks awesome as hell.

Dear toy guy: my retail copy of scourge has a CRACK in his back clear plastic. So no, it's not an issue of being at the len.
All of the ones with vehicle modes are great. I can't stand animal Transformers.
However, their legs are a bit skinny.
Scourge is Dreamwave's The Fallen with an Earth-mode.
I wish Cheetor was more on the yellow than this nothing color tbh. I doubt Toyhax would make a sticker set to give him more spots but I still have hopes.. Sorta

I've watched your videos here and there, and decided to subscribe with this one! If I'm being honest, it is because you called out other reviewers getting figures super early (like literally right after they get announced or something). It is such a pet peeve of mine and I'm happy to see someone else who also avoids videos with stolen figures! Great content!

I'm only just getting back into collecting (collected a handful of DOTM when that movie came out and then before that only collected G1 figures) and I have to say scourge may be my first studio series in a WHILE
I really want them, but here in Mexico they're only available through Amazon and they want the equivalent of 52US dollars (70 Canadian) for Cheetor and *82* USD (110 CAD) for Scourge and that's way too much for them.

I like Scourge but in hindsight Hasbro should’ve learned from their sins of early Studio Series bee movie figures. Just why, why base it on concept art if that’s not what they’re gonna look like in the final version. They had a lot of time to change Scourge too.
Also good luck trying to find this figure nowadays. $100 for a design based on concept art. I’m really hoping the mainline Scourge is accurate, if that happens that is

I never liked Beast Wars but I am surprised how much I am liking the beast figures from this line. I am not liking any of the non beast figures. I can only hope the movie is good.

You should try out the Transformers Prime beast hunters' predacons, they are surprisingly fun to handle and i think you'd like them! If I was to recommend one in particular, it would have to be Lazerback or vertebreak.
Razor claw is my favorite she is so easy to take amazing photos of in natural light!
In my humble opinion I feel like wave 1 was definitely blinded by hype. Bumblebees head and blade are very disappointing especially with the lack of paintwork, and Scourge just looks SO inaccurate and it baffles me. The body build in the trailers looks like TLK Optimus, meanwhile the figure looks so odd in comparison, it’s really odd looking. (Not bad, just inaccurate, which is supposed to be the Studio Series’ Selling point.)

I don’t like the back of the truck, it just looks like the smokestacks doesn’t tap and unfinished so yeah that’s my only gripe with the truck figure mode

As an older collector, I must say the newer lines feel cheap. I have almost no attachment to the new characters and I’m about bumbled out. They can’t get anyof the older characters right accept for maybe Optimus and Arcee. The only thing that gave me hope was the three minutes of Bee’s solo movie on Cybertron. Almost time to roll out to my grave with Star Wars destroyed, Transformers forgotten, hair metal outdated and video game technology overpriced in retro and modern😢

Cheetor looks better than previous versions. Scourge has an interesting transformation. However, I think I'll skip both these.
