Hi Everyone, Thanks for watching! It's great to see familiar names in the comment section :) I hope everyone stays safe in the midst of this craziness. Take care and see you soon!
I have the aria and I have the er2xr, but instead of the 3000 final, I have the 4000. And the 4000 is amazing. It's my go to daily driver. I barely wear the arias they are too bright. They need more bass, and the mids are to resets to me.
I have both the Final E3000 and Moondrop Aria, out of the two, the Aria is a big step up from the E3000. Build, fit, tuning, replaceable cables, better, more balanced sound and a great case. Under $100 the Etymotic ER2 are also excellent if you can deal with the fit. But the Aria are phenomenally good.
Loving my arias, at first I was disappointed coming from a Blon 03 because the mids there were more forward but then I listened carefully and bam the soundstage. The staging is so beautiful, the air and the way it's tuned really gives me a silky smooth listening experience just running it through a Shanling UA1 dongle dac.I fell asleep with them twice because I was so relaxed xD.Great content, looking forward to the next episodeee Edit: I swapped to a silver plated cable and it brought in more details and gain, enough for me to think that the mids went forward
Thanks for dropping by Gavin! Thank you for your kind words! I did the same swapping the cable of the Arias to a nice silver-plated copper cable as well as using a wider opening ear tip. This really helps with the staging.
@@uncleda631 hey dude! I swapped to a nicehck pure silver litz cable and some azla sedna earfit lights.Best combination for the aria, totally agree that the stock cable is not that great
Great video, and good morning from Toronto ☕️. Wait, what ..some people don’t like soundstage..wtf. Soundstage is generated by the correct L&R phasing , temporal and coherent sound in the recording. If you’re not getting at least a smaller soundstage..there’s something wrong in the chain. With IEM’s 1. The fit of the tips. 2. The cable , if you can replace it. 3. What amp Solid State vs Tubes. The Moondrop Aria absolutely shines far far above its price point with good sealing tips, better cables and I run everything balanced of the Xduoo 604 amp ( 4.4 Pentacon) Once again great review and insight.
Good Morning and thanks for stopping by! I would love to visit Canada someday. You are right with your assessment. All 3 makes perfect sense. You actually reminded me that Tubes VS SS is also a criteria . We don't see this so much in the portable space but with some new products that have been launched in HK such as the new SP2000T, I think this will get increasingly more interesting. I run the Arias on The Lotoo PAW S1, PAW Gold Touch and Cayin N8 (Tube) and they sound wonderful in different ways.
@@SuperChonk It’s the ability of the Aria to showcase itself , when given proper set up that really show what a “cheap” IEM can do. Is it a fair test…I think so ..most people who get into IEM’s will eventually get into tips, cables, amps , DACs…it’s a gateway 🤣🤣🤣 Have a great weekend and stay safe.
Hey, nice video man, just subscribed to your channel. I want to buy an IEM under USD $80 to upgrade from my KZ ZSN PRO (the treble is too harsh for me). I'm in doubt between Moondrop Aria and Hidizs MS2. Have you ever tried the Hidizs MS2? And is the Aria a good option to listen to post-rock, math rock, metal and some rap/hip-hop? Thank you :)
Hi there,I easily recommend the Moondrop Arias in terms of sound for post rock. Sounds great with rock. But one thing to note is that the paint might chip off. I saw some users have their chip already. Personally I don't mind it as the sound is very competitive for the price
@@SuperChonk Honestly, if it sounds good for rock music at that price, I don't mind if the paint chip off. I'll probably going to buy Aria, according to the reviews I've seen, it's the best IEM in this price range Thanks for the fast asnwer, really appreciate that
The aria the blon 03 and cca csn best under 100. Legacy 3 sounds better than legacy 2 and is not much more expensive. BUT the cca csn sounds similar to the legacy 3 and is only 20 pounds on amazon 🤪
I’m confused choosing between Legacy and Aria. I listen to acoustic jazz, music with acoustic bass and ride cymbal. Listening on my iPhone / Apple Music in mrt, about 20 stations on- and below ground. My 1st one was Shure SCL2, nowadays using Shure 215 blue. But I find the bass is muddy for the music I listen to. Also using Audio Technica ath-e40. I like the sound but it’s very uncomfortable, unlike Shure. What would you recommend? Tq. The music I listen to (th-cam.com/video/Rw1ZGUh594s/w-d-xo.html)
You have very good taste in music. I will recommend these 3 iems for your purpose.> Moondrop Aria or final E3000 Good all-rounder with excellent details for the price. The warmth of these earphones synergizes with a 3 piece jazz very well. final E2000 if you prefer a slightly leaner representation

Thanks mate! Thanks for stopping by again!
The Aria is a great value but like you I despise the stock cable.
Yeah. They really do tangle badly.
nice video , hey can i use e3000 with apple dongel
I’m sure you can but just don’t expect it the apple dongle to maximise the e3000 potential
Legacy 2.lacks mid bass a lot. Final audio lacks a bit of low end and has the mids a bit to thin. The aria. I did not tried them
Arias are warm and definitely have a stronger midbass prescence.
@@SuperChonk perfect. Will get them. Thanks
Could you compare the legacy 2 and legacy 3? Looking for something neutral and detailed :)
I'll see if I can get my hands on one. I will have a full review on the legacy 2 dropping this Saturday :)

@@SuperChonk is there any tips to make Aria paint be more durable? Like adding clear spray, is that really work?
What is the difference between Final E3000 and E3000C?
The E3000C has an inline microphone, otherwise, they are the same. :)
