timmy, from what others have said, the $159 us price gives a better cable than anything in this price range, also, included is a dsp that doesn't alter the sound but gives the option to plug into a modern phone, lastly on the fit - that must be a personal issue for you, as i've seen reviewers describe it as the best fitting / small size iem they can watch movies in bed with and lie down comfortably on a pillow. love your reviews, but these personal nitpicks are unwarranted. imho.
@endorphinADMIN I said in the video that the fit issue could just be me, and that point did not impact the final score. The nitpick on accessories also didn't impact the final score. I only score base on sound quality. And to be fair, every fit is personal. So good or bad fit will always be personal. And I didn't say it was uncomfortable. I said I couldn't get a good seal immediately. That's different from comfort.
the graphic looks quite similar to the elysian x, also these sound quite diferent with diferent eartips a wider eartip provides a biger soundstage with a lot of details and less bass, on the stock tips (if you where lucky enough to get a good fit) the bass is more present and the treble is more smooth, for me the best sound if you can't find a good seal definitly consider a similar eartip in terms of wide and large of the cylinder.
I wish more companies would try to make smaller IEMs and make them look more lowkey rather than slapping on a lsd type pattern on the front while the iem is sticking out half a centimeter
They went from "the realm of not acceptable" to "solid" (and logically "Meze's best" since there are no other contenders). This makes me feel that the other reviewers are overhyping it.
