This was a great live! From musical instruments, machine maintenance, fowl furnaces 😂 to a court reporting demo, what an interesting watch! Thank you! I have ADD/ADHD, & you ladies helped me with a 2024 goal, by using proven, new to me, methods to stay on task. It’s called “body doubling” (Jessica McCabe, How To ADHD) and it worked! I virtually “hung out” with you guys and was able to complete a project I had put off for months. 🎉 Sounds odd, but I’ll bet I’m one of MANY ND and/or ADD sewists. Siah taught me to sew via TH-cam in 2020, changed my life! I love watching The Crafty Reporter too, you are both excellent teachers. Thank you ladies for all you do. 💜🐠
@DorySews I love ‘How to ADHD’ and have learned many things from Jessica, but I’ve missed this one. I taught myself how to sew (also in 2020!) using what I call, TH-cam University, and the body doubling makes SO MUCH SENSE!!
Just another reason to love these creators for recording what to them may seem useless and boring. Hopefully comments like yours lets them know just how much of a difference recording simple things they’re doing daily can help those of us whom are ND!

My suggestion is to purchase a video only phone to use for your lives. Purchase a pre-pay plan through mint mobile or one of the smaller carriers to save money. It may be the best 35.00 dollars a month you spend. No interruptions…

Did I miss where you showed how to handle the seatbelt webbing that slide too much in the hardware?
We forgot to do it! I have a video where I do it…. But I can’t seem to remember which one 😭. You pretty much just need to put a layer of vinyl or non slip material where the seat belt strap lays over the slide. Then it will give it some resistance
For the wrinkly dip….would piping help at all? Just trying to think of other ways to keep that smooth

What's the modification to have the zipper in the middle of the gusset vs along the front panel?
It should be coming out in its own pattern soon. Just helps it not run into the binding when you finish
