Hi Kesiah, I just wanted to take a moment to thank you very much your amazing tutorials. You have literally changed my life by fostering a level of confidence to sew bags. I just started sewing less than 12 months ago and I knew nothing about sewing anything. You fabulously explain each bag in a manner that is easy to follow and encouraging. As a result of your tutorials, I am now working to open a bag shop. I look forward to each of your videos. Your caring personality always shines through. I wish you and your loved ones a new year overflowing with joy, great health, and love. Take good care of yourself.

Thank you for taping this tutorial, it helped so much, in spite of my repeated mistakes. 🙄 This is a practice Louie bag for my daughter who never likes what I sew, she requested this! One thing I have learned, better to line the bag with a patterned fabric…you won’t be able to see the stitching problems that stand out with a solid. 😂

Great video. I just bought this pattern after watching part of your tutorial. This is the first one of yours I have seen and it won't be the last. I love the way you show your sewing. I will never think that I am using too many clips to go around a small bag again. Those rounded corners can certainly be challenging and it is very helpful to watch a skillful sewest work their way through those parts.. I am looking forward to watching more of your videos. Thank you for your generosity.

OK, I got the pieces printed and have made a bag. I ended up making 4 wings with the buckle because I thought it was on wrong so changed it, then saw it was wrong again. I couldn't seem to get it on the correct side. I still don't have it on the correct side but what the heck, I'll keep it for myself. One other major problem I had was getting the pieces together without puckers on the rounded edges. Love the bag but hate the assembly. Think it must be me. I am making another one right now so maybe it will be better this time. Love it when your sister is on.

Thanks for such wonderful tutorial… yours is by far the best …question about the base when added to the completed zipper… my base is always much wider than the gusset… I mean like 1/2}. What am I doing wrong? The bag is not difficult (even though I still hate binding lol) but I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. I am using an industrial consew with the foot that came on it… my seams are definitely not the recommended but my finished gusset on the bag seems so much more narrow… I hope that makes sense

I know Juki and other industrial machines do have numbered grids. I have been looking for one and instead of scratching a deep gouge in my faceplate Id like to try yours first.
