It's simply surreal to watch an Asian orchestra and choir perform this Broadway musical which attempts to portray Jewish life in a Russian town some 100 years ago. Truly incredible! But as far as the music goes, they do a splendid job!
Anatevka . . . so full of melancholy! An enjoyable and surprisingly good rendition of Jewish musical drama from a very distant current culture. The choir movements add nicely to overall effect, and one forgets that only 3 instruments are being played (and very well).
Tracy this is your best replication of musical theatre with the Chorus. Positioning of singers. The fiddler high up to approximate the live show. So good!
