Apparently this guy Victor Borba is a Canadian christian metal vocalist who does covers. He's also done few anime openings, pretty interesting fella. I think his voice and lyrics are a perfect fit for this track.

Very great DMC game. Between this one and 4 are the best to me as well as for soundtrack. The reboot DMC Devil May Cry to me has the best soundtrack just because of the diversity. But DMC5 is very well done and a great continuation of DMC4
I've never played it yet, can't wait till I do. Been playing them ever since DMC 1. :D

I played this game and wasn’t a fan of metal but as a musician I can say this was a beautiful track and definitely powerful I damn near shed a tear layered well
I love he purposefully calls back to Devil Trigger / Silver Bullet.
Even more better is how he unintentionally refers to Devils Never Cry on the calm parts, both the chants and chorus that follows. Not just the chants and the 6th to 4th note progression, but also the lyrics, even though they refer to different scene. "Beyond the tree fire burns"
And in Devils Never Cry : "Bless me with the leaf off of the tree. On it I see the freedom reign". What a cool coincidence.
Imagine they put that song unchanged in a dmc movie 😍😍😍
That would be so sick, we'd all be hyped as fuck.
