This is why you respect stunt men and women so much, This is impossible for a normal driver to do. It's a shame Lights Motors Action had to end but still it was a great show.
idk if this is in america or france but i watched the show in france like 15 years ago and damn, i remember from the video how all that stuff was so impressive because it was so close and i did not thought any of those tricks could be possible, what a great memory thx for those shows m8 btw what a job to do !
dude, your driving was literally my childhood man... when I was a kid, we must've gone to see LMA at least once every day whenever we were at Disney. I never cared for the rivalry between the red car and the rest, I just loved everything about it. being able to see such high octane stunts performed by pros as a kid was like heaven for me. thanks dude, really, for all your hard work and everyone elses.
I saw this show in 2013 and it was amazing. I enjoyed every moment of it. The driving skills and the coordination of everyone involved is just jaw dropping.
I thought the show looked cool from the audience, but this is a whole new perspective. This must take so much skill to able to drift so precisely, absolutely fantastic.
Thank you for your part in this show. I'll never forget this one. One of my favorites. Forever missed. Oh and hey, thank you for sharing this awesome video too!
This was my favorite attraction! I loved every minute of it, being a 7-8 year old loving cars since forever this show has a special place in my heart! All these newer shows at Hollywood studios are good, but nothing beats this one! I never knew they were all powered by the same motorbike engine!
This was my all-time favourite attraction at Disney Hollywood studios. It’s a shame that they got rid of it, because who doesn’t love fast cars and awesome looking stunts? I got to see this when I was at Disney World for a wish trip back in March 2008. It will definitely be a week I will never forget my entire life! Good job on the driving man, your skills behind the wheel with your team totally made my day that week.
I got to watch it one last time in 2012, thanks a million to you and the rest of the wonderful staff for getting me into drifting my friend. I still remember the smell of shredded rubber then fast forward a year later I got a Nissan S14 straight from Japan hehe and shredded tires as much as I could. I sold the S14 and got mostly older European cars from BMW M and Mercedes AMG but seeing this video made me want to get some tires and shred again.
Just checking in to say I saw LMA in January of 2020 at Disney Paris and it was a surreal experience after seeing it for the first time in WDW in like 2010. Must've been the best job ever
I agree so much cos imma tell u a story I was 4 years old and I went do Disney and Saw 2 minutes of this cos I thought it was too loud and I have had clinical depression since
Please don't ever delete this video. Im keeping it in my favorites for the rest of time! Awesome! This is where the true gift of TH-cam shines through. Videos like this. What an experience to watch, I can only imagine what it must've been like to be in your boots for this experience of a lifetime. I hate it that they closed this show. Thanks for taking the viewers with you, especially this one! If you ever get a chance to answer this, please share what the flashing '2' was all about. I thought at first it was your car order number for the performance, but, then I realized it signified what gear you were in. However, I can't figure out why it would flash when you were in that "holding pattern". Also, what did that toggle switch do when you were sitting there and the "director and camera man were under the hood during the show? Was that toggle for a light? So many questions! Can I meet up with you for a beer and chat!?? lol
Hi, As I'm passionate of cars, and of this show, I'm not absolutely sure of what I will say, but almost: 1/ The switch before the jump at 2:05 seems to be a speed limiter. The car cannot go faster than the defined speed for the jump. Easier and SAFER to do the jump. I'm 99% sure of that, because the engine doesn't go faster than a quite "slow" speed, until he switch it off at 2:38. 2/ The flashing 2 might be an indicator for the beggining of each scene. I noticed that each time the 2 is fixed, they begin... 3/ Why a "2" ? Maybe the gear, but seems wrong, because he can go in rear (at 3:02)... I hope other people will answer and dicuss those questions, it's really a wonderful and very instructive video !
I''m pretty sure the 2 is his designated car number for the show, and it flashes to mean hold, and goes steady to cue the sequence. Part of the system used to co-ordinates the different sequences. It was amazing that you apparently can't hear much outside sound driving. I always thought the music score cued them, but apparently it's radio signals.
Now the flashing light is probably a holding sign but the number still remains a mystery. I would agree that it's the cars ID number as it is V2, but watching other drivers, there number changes as they are driving. For example one driver started in second, but the number displayed one. Still not sure. I know one driver named Jon Brennam responds to questions in the comments. It worth a shot asking him! I loved this show too and it was ashame it's not there anymore
After a bit of research I found out that the number is indeed the gear indicator. In some of the cars, the gear indicators are broken. I hope this answers your question!
sad this show is gone, being a stunt driver for this show was a dream of mine since I saw it in Paris. at least Paris still has it though! lol it does look like A LOT of fun to drive those cars. do you know what they did with them?
It’s gone! I loved this show, I watched it at least 50 times during the time I went, I guess t did get a little tacky with all the lightning McQueen stuff they added
The shells are Opel/Vauxhall Corsas. They've completely gutted out and the engines are replaced with high-torque motorcycle engines situated behind the driver for balance.
Spaceframe chassis, replica bodies based on Opel Corsas, Hayabusa engines. The only car in the show that was a true Opel was the car that split in half
I was looking for a video like this about 8 years ago and yet here I am. I’m sad that this show is gone. It was my favorite since I was a kid and I loved cars (I still do). But I was wondering who made these cars for the show.
C'est vraiment impressionnant à l'intérieur et des que une des parties du spectacle est fini il se gare déjà et bien évidemment pas de marche arrière un 180 bien évidemment
When did you retire? I might have seen you! I went there in November 2014, september 2015, December 2016, skipped 2017, November 2018 (it wasn’t there at that time :( skipped 2019,
they do movies and have they do stunts for other places.{ in other words they had no problem getting jobs since there in the stunt actors guide.} behind the scences tour of the show:th-cam.com/video/S9WeN32h_6I/w-d-xo.html
do you know of any videos showing the cars you drove in detail? did they have 4 wheel independent steering, and if so did you control it yourself or was is programed/always on? did the cars ever stall during a performance?
I used to own a street version of one of these, I used to drive it like this on the grass at our annual firework show 😁. It's great fun. Are these the old Corsa rallycross cars with the 4x4?
No, rear-wheel-drive, custom made for the show with spaceframe chassis and mid-mounted hayabusa engines. Bodywork was also fibreglass if I remember correctly
An unforgettable show! Don't ever take this video down because it'll be a gem in 20 years.
Who knows it might comeback.
Love how you all parked around the 3:15 mark.
"You are backstage you don''t have to fle..."

I absolutely love how you guys drift in the back stage portions to save time and get back on set quickly, super cool.
This is why you respect stunt men and women so much, This is impossible for a normal driver to do. It's a shame Lights Motors Action had to end but still it was a great show.

Yourself, Kial, Eduardo, and the whole team are artists with gasoline and rubber! You guys are greatly missed!
My favorite part...them turning around into the garage at 3:00
I saw this show in 2013 and it was amazing. I enjoyed every moment of it. The driving skills and the coordination of everyone involved is just jaw dropping.
Major Credit to you for becoming a driver for this. Must of been an amazing experience!
Thejollygamer3 read the description
People on the backlot tour at 2:21 were in for a treat lol
Personnally, I found this video more exciting than the real show ! Because we can really appreciate the stunts and see how it's difficult !
I thought the show looked cool from the audience, but this is a whole new perspective. This must take so much skill to able to drift so precisely, absolutely fantastic.
Thank you for your part in this show. I'll never forget this one. One of my favorites. Forever missed.
Oh and hey, thank you for sharing this awesome video too!
this is sutch a stunning choreo! Just how perfectly all fits together is wonerful to see. Congrats

Plus the times when they brought out lightning McQueen, and herbie the love bug!
The skills are more impressive from this point of view
best show in disney, always will have a special place in my 8 year old heart

I remember when I watched this when I was 12-13 years old with my parents I absolutely loved it! Watching this is amazing, now I’m 20 😂
Thanks for sharing!! I've been to this show like 20 times and seeing it like this is incredible the amount of skill and reaction time is unbelievable
I got to watch it one last time in 2012, thanks a million to you and the rest of the wonderful staff for getting me into drifting my friend. this was some next level entertainment, too bad i didnt get to experience this. incredible amount of skill and choreography.
So glad I got to meet you guys!
This is awesome thanks for taking the time to film this.
So great, really enjoyed watching. i miss this show for sure.

This attraction closed so they could build Star Wars land. As amazing as the land is, they should have relocated this to another area in the park.
I agree so much cos imma tell u a story I was 4 years old and I went do Disney and Saw 2 minutes of this cos I thought it was too loud and I have had clinical depression since
It's still open?
No they replaced it with toy story land and galaxys edge
It was closed like 2 year ago
@@ghosthenchmen7642 same when i was young i could see it it was so lud for me too
Thanks for this! I was so busy at Epcot I only got to see it twice before my program ended. Very cool to see it from your perspective!
Awesome pov!!! This was a great show. Great driving!!!
Merci d'avoir partager ça avec nous ! Derrière la magie Disney, des femmes et des hommes la font vivre, et c'est très impressionnant !
so awesome! i am glad i was able to see it before it went away. such talent!
this is such neat video. it's like car ballet.

rct3isepic probably either scrapped them or some collector bought them.

This was my favorite show since I was so little. Very sad it’s gone. I too have always wanted to be a stunt driver for this show
Guys its not gone, I was there 2 days ago and that show was there ! :)
Fanycs I think they are talking about Hollywood Studios in Disney Florida.
These men can avoid any accident
This inspired me alot
Never saw this show in person, but this show looks like 100x better from this view then the crowds lol

Thanks for sharing this freaking AWESOME video. Looks even more amazing from the drivers pov 👍🏼👍🏼

This is me driving in the MK parking lot
They never should have gotten rid of this.
You know they are pros when they even park like a boss
Actually looks a lot easier from inside
no lol
Uhhh no
So theres one orange car that drives backwards only, interesting
The body is mounted on the frame backwards giving the appearance that it is driving "backwards" when in fact the transmission is moving forward.
7:21 casually puts on windshield wipers 😂
GG 2:51
Uploaded on my birthday :D
Amazing !!!!
Matt F, at 1:46, there is two of the same red car, one parking and one going backwards
Disney designed there own transmissions for this show, the transmission case is stamped Disney on the housing
This was awesome. Better then the show. The best part was 2:55 putting the cars away
Whats the big #2 for on your dash? Thought it might have been gear but it never changed.
Were you the guy in that behind the scenes video for LMA
amazing driving
