I liked the style of your videos it’s just like the viewer is a mate who has just called round while you are working 👍🤓👍
The best vids of their type on TH-cam well done boys
It’d be brilliant if you set up a camera in the workshop and live-streamed an entire day of you guys getting involved with projects. Quality video as always!
It would certainly give my day at work sone purpose
I love the fact that Rob knows an "air bag man".
Best and most consistent channel for videos I've had v pleasure of watching in v last 12 months
Totally agree 👍🏻
Another great video Rob, the leather steering wheel just adds a little extra to a basic Fez but it's looking good, I'm sure you guys will come out with a little win on this car. This is far better than shopping
It's neat you can reach in through where the windscreen was! Good job guys.
It’s a no brainier, leather steering wheel 👍.
Right choice about the steering wheel 👍 you guys never stop working and turning car's around. Never get bored watching keep the videos coming Rob😀
I’m thinking of moving to Kent, this Kent auto salvage sounds like the place to be seen. 😉😉 great video Rob! 👍
Have you googled it yet ? I have 🤦♂️👍
Much enjoyed, that's dedication for you. You just got on with it or should I say you u got carried away with it. It's done and you can move on with the project. A inspiration Rob, as many of us will put our feet up when the misses goes out!
Lovely Jubbly video, I only just noticed how basic the dash and instruments were on the early MK7 Fiesta's, still a great save from the scrappers Rob.
Looking forward to seeing the car finished, cleaned and finally, the important numbers! Well done, love seeing the little cars being put back on the road.
Just popping down the yard love ................... 8 hours later
been a full days work 😊
Love your videos cheers guys
I’d leave the leather steering wheel on shows a bit of class when you sell it 😊👍🏻👍🏻✌️✌️
wheres chris when you need him but you done it rob well done your both a hard workers i love your videos always guys
Lucky you have the years of experience behind you. Anyone else would probably loose out on this car. Respect to you! Great content as usual, I look forward to the next one 👍🏻
great content as usual guys. I for one am bored of the usual "I've wrapped my new supercar" vids that most motoring channels are doing. makes a refreshing change
You and Chris’s work ethic is top notch. Hats off to both of you. You in particular are a 100% natural in front of the camera. Keep up the great work.
Great video again Rob, I’ve said it before but it’s as though I’m stood next to you and you are just talking to me,having a chat and that’s what I love about all your videos -we’re all your mates watching and it’s by far my favourite thing on you tube, thanks 👍👍👍👍
Cracking video, I’ve even started a few repairs on my motorbikes. Gave up years ago, but today armed with a new parts washer, G101 and torque wrench I’m back on it. You videos over the last 2 years have given me the motivation to get my hands dirty again. Thanks both👍
That is so true, the wife goes out with her mates or to the hairdressers or something and its yes now I can get that job done!
Enjoyed the video, a tricksy little job but you nailed it.
Keep the leather wheel Rob, they’re a much nicer feel than the standard polyurethane ones. I believe the bluey/grey colour of the dashboard you have is called ‘Syracuse’. Great video!
Blimey - pure genius Rob - love your work and work ethic - I can imagine you running a hospital and the amazing improvement that could be made!!
For goodness sake, get that cable tie off the steering wheel! That was a great video Rob, I enjoy everything you upload. Lovely day in Kent & if you felt like pressing on and changing the dashboard - and were able to do it - good for you. The benefits of being your own boss!
Well that was indeed most impressive Rob! Your a braver man than me. It looked an absolute right pain of a job. Credit to you!!
Very unusual not to see Chris wizzing about the cars, good for you Rob well done don’t forget it’s time and a half on a Saturday lol.
He’s making his time up 😂
There are lots of so called salvage channels on youtube.you two are top of the tree, best repairs and best footage.would never hesitate buying a car from you and chris, well done rob 👍
Your video's are done very professional 👍all the work the both of you do is top notch,I prefer the salvage steering wheel😀
You made a difficult job look easy. Great weather too!
Rob & Chris, stuff it! Love to come & see you guys, & will buy a motor for my kids from you guys, because I know, I’ve got peace of mind & uk salvage approval platinum seal! God bless you both! Rx
Rob, I have been lucky enough to go around the Jaguar factory a couple of times. The whole dash (piping, wiring, steering wheel, air bags etc) is a pre built sub assembly that bolted into the car first. Therefore it more difficult to remove with seats etc. Excellent work Rob
how great to be able to do all this out in the sun !! -- wonder how many of us watching would know how to remove the dash !!
Looking Forwards to the numbers on this one.
Great work as usuall.
It’s fantastic to see how hard you work on the cars and how you take the safety aspect of the vehicle so seriously and at least you know the vehicles are safe that you sell unlike other cowboys who cut corners
Hi rob and Chris wow the video has only been out a few hours and you have already had 22,078 views just show how hard you guys work and the same goes for doing the videos as well
Big respect to Kent Auto Salvage for all the bits they stock! And love the content!
Hi rob, I think most people would be terrified to remove the dash, great post again
The replacement steering wheel was so much better looking than the old one that it was really no contest. If the damaged switch had 'just been unlucky' it might be right to change the switch, clean the wheel in a quiet moment and keep it as a spare in case of need. They can wear, but the changed one looked fine as did the rest of the car; after some careful attention to what it needed, a Saturday generously contributed by you Rob. The bodywork damage did not show up today, but the engine and everything else sounded great. You appear to be finding the profit in that one now. No one's time was wasted it is looking good for an early sale and movement.
Was murmuring to myself "Do you want a hand mate?" but as usual you managed OK! lol 😵
Always enjoy it when you and Chris do a Fiesta or a FIAT 500. No wonder you kept going on it, def a sense of achievement to see the replacement dashboard in. Looking forward to you wrapping it up in the next video. Leather steering wheel an improvement.👍
apart for the fact someone watching will most probably buy this car , I doubt anyone will notice the steering is different as always Rob brilliant video, one question though do you two ever stop working, mind you I think Chris was more playing than working !! whens the video of the landscaping coming out 😊😊😊
I have weekends off normally but the mrs has had me at it in the garden for about a month 👍
Lovely cars easy drive not expensive to run perfect 👌🏻 great car great turn around well done lads x
Ripping out a dash board is something that has always scared me because of the complexity but
Rob you make it look so easy 👍👍
Mate I will have a leather wheel over a plastic one any day
Hi Rob,you done well to do that on your own,it looked awkward.but you sorted it out.the dashboard and the steering wheel seem to suit the cars interior.it will be a nice car in the end.
Another excellent video, saving time, money and materials by reusing parts from donor cars. A super little car for someone. Keep up the good work!
Love how good its coming out just a little bit of work left then we get the numbers fantastic work everytime Rob & Chris 👏👏👏👏👏
Seemed strange to see you flying solo but as usual a really good insight into the strip of complex components. Most entertaining as usual ,and great to have a good working relationship with other trades.👍🇬🇧London Paul.
Great patience putting that dash back in Rob, Not having the windscreen in must have helped.
Definitely a profit in it. Excellent video as per usual 👍👍 Double time for Saturday 🤣🤣
Nice work Rob, I still find it crazy that cars are designed so the whole dash needs replacing for one little air bag...such a waste of materials, not environmentally friendly. They should have their own pockets that are replaceable like steering wheels.
Must be cheaper to press the plastic out in one piece for the manufactures than to isolate each component, it’s things like these that makes you wonder if the government is serious about the environment when so much is discarded when an accident occurs and has to be scrapped
Evening Rob. Love the dashboard videos as most people would be scared to hell just thinking about doing one lol 😆 That steering wheel is better 👍🏻 Looking forward to hearing the numbers on this little fiesta 🤣 Take care cheers Stevie 😎
I love your videos guys as you get us all involved, now let's get a TV company involved & get you guys some TV fame. Two regular guys with a great message to give to the every day folks who love anything to do with the trade.
Get a production company involved & have a good waffle. Brilliant as usual Rob ❤️
Keep the wheel on Rob. There must be an earner on this one . Well done Boys , top drawer again !
Good Saturday project there. Tidy work,as always.
Rob you enjoy what you do and it shows through all the videos. If you were not in the business you would do the same on your driveway as a hobby. Love these videos as it educates and informs like minded people.
Another A1 video Rob plenty of content, I would keep the leather steering wheel, so glad you decided to bring her back to life, rather than scrap.. 👍from me.
You make it look so easy rob, another brill vidio, the channel is getting better and better,we all look forward to yours and Chris's vidios
Hope you both have had a good weekend
Great video Rob (and Chris) - Three dashboards and two windscreens in one day - Wow !
Great job on the perseverance (even though you're in "carried away mode") - time still flies and informative and educational at the same time !
Keep up the fantastic work and keep those videos comin' !
Brill videos boys! I'm In the middle of doing a 16plate fiesta, great little cars so easy to work on once the windscreen and seats are out!!
Nice one Rob, it’s not a job when you love it so much, it’s a pleasure to go to work.
Mick
Great video yes the new steering wheel looks better .hope you had some time to relax over the weekend.
Leather steering wheel is much nicer and the little car is great and should turn a profit I reckon 👍🏼
Rob the workaholic 😉🙂
And some people think he's just all words behind the camera!!
Great video, I like the style of just watching over while you work on it👌
Nice to see you mixing the content up. 🧳👍
Nice job guys on the Ford Fiesta.
Great video as usual. Keep the leather steering wheel on it, gives it a hint of luxury and looks the perfect match. Looking forward to the numbers at the end !!
Coming along nicely boys! I'd keep the leather steering wheel on it,a small detail but better than plastic!
Patient, Methodical Work, pays off with a good result.
Great job Chris, you obviously have the patience of a saint to swap these dashboards!
Rob great job on the dashboard and airbags.
Good video Rob! Very helpful.
Nice vid as usual. I've an old jag that needs fettling. Just wish I could park it next to Rob on the weekend with a selection of tools nearby just to see what happened 😁🛠️👍
Always, always a class act to follow when repairs of your cars. Excellent.
Great video Rob, I’ve not see a windscreen replacement close up, maybe the next time you could get Liam to give us a quick look at the process please.
Take Care Stay Safe Everyone Regards Dave 👍😎🏴
Rob fully involved just like old times!! Love it!!👍👍👍🇬🇧🏴
Great vid as usual and there was me thinking you was just a bit of eye candy 😂 and Chris was the grafter would really love a story time vid about you and Chris's background in the motor trade gotta be one of the best channels on TH-cam
Like that little fiesta looks tidy motor another quality video 😊😊😊👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Thanks. Doing my belts and dash this evening
You lucky you can do it yourself. I just bought a Fiesta Titanium 2016 model. And side and roof air bags deployed and seat belt. I like watching this guy.
I still know nothing about cars but love watching these videos
Learning a lot
Well done both of you. Another decent car saved from the scrap heap. 👍
Hi Rob. Wonder if it might be possible to drop a real quick recap at the start of vids when it's second or third vid on a car as you guys do so many I forget what was wrong with the cars when you pick them up lol would be good to get a quick reminder of damage and what you did in the last vid. Love the channel though guys. Cheers 👍
I agree about the tools Rob as by the time I have finished half the toolbox is in the car, except when you put something down then go to pick it up again and it has gone !!!!
Thanks to you rob I'm an expert on airbags😂. Great channel always enjoy your vids! Keep up the good work fellas👍
Another great vis as usual.
You know what they say if you enjoy what you do you’ll never work another day in your life.👍
We was saved by the bell at the end there I could tell Rob was beginning to start a waffle session for another 5 minutes at least! Nice surprise to see a nice early Monday evening video from the boyz! Good to see the momentum continuing weekly Rob. That little Fiesta is defo worth the time you put into it. Keep it up bruh! Stay safe and be lucky guys.
Wow Rob what a hell of a job you would think they would make airbag deployment less damaging 👍
Fiesta coming together nice and easy it seems! Tinkering with cars is always dangerous, the Mrs has given in asking how long I'll be. Also reorganising tools/ the garage is a rabbit hole I've been down a few times!
Seen you do a few dash changes. I do not have the skill or patience to do such a job. Well done.
Great video, showing the home DIYers how to do the airbag kit, just one thing - make sure the bolt the airbag ECU down before starting the car, as I’ve seen one blow the complete airbag set as wasn’t flat and car thought it was rolling over!
It was bolted down before it was plugged it 👍
You’ve got some good weather down there in Kent Rob. Can we have it in the rest of the country... 👍
Great video again! Keep the new steering wheel.
Sweeeeeeeeet 😎 great video. Can't believe how much plastic and internals are scrapped when the air bags go off 😕
Another good earner turned around Rob, considering what a basket case it used to be.
Boy those fingers must have been itching to get started haha.
Another enjoyable video and done with only one pair of hands too. A credit to you, and here’s hoping you get a decent profit. 👍🏻
Rob, job looked a whole lot easier with the screen removed. Nice one fella.
Excellent job, the car looks every bit as fantastic as the weather.
Hi Rob and Chris, got to be the leather wheel Rob. Went together well. Cheers, Alex.
Good show mate some good tips great to watch
Another job sorted, definitely keep the leather steering wheel looks nicer its gonna make a nice little car
It makes the car a better car, with the new steering wheel, in my opinion. Leave it on. Cheers, Rob and Chris.
Another brilliant video again as always you have worked really hard today well done
Looks good rob .....
With that low mileage ..easy flip surely .....well done again
