My Past Life Has Found Me in Thailand

- Welcome back to the channel! Join me on this walk 'n talk as I share a rollercoaster of emotions during my reunion with an old friend from England right here in the Land of Smiles.
A buddy from my home town in England landed in Thailand! And has been on full holiday mode for the past 5 months. Having left behind my old ways of drinking and partying, I found solace in the tranquil beauty of Chiang Mai, Thailand. But with my mate in town, it was like a blast from the past! 🍻 I was getting easily led to the bars around town.
I realized how much I've grown and the positive changes I've embraced in my life. I’ve probably grown into an old man, but i love my quiet Thailand life. It’s been lively few weeks and i shall be happy to get back to chilled ways.

Chang Mai sounds amazing
It sure is 👌👌
You got that right!
When you get older, the boring life is a good life. Partying and drinking all the time shaves good healthy years off your life. Your videos are great. Cheers!
Yes mate, I love my boring life now, love waking up early with a clear head.
Wise words!
Sometimes you need to get lost to find yourself ...
. Happy to share a few thoughts with you off-line, early October 2023 , see you in person soon Bro ..
Nice one buddy, hope to see you around the city 👍
Brother, it's a beautiful thing to be okay with being by yourself and not dependent on a woman or the bar life. Less drama. More peace.
Thanks man 🙏
Love your comment! So very true
Sometimes you have to give up something to find something. Glad you have found your Nirvana🙏
That bar life is firmly behind me mate. No way could I live here like that.
@@WalkAboutWayneAny truth that you were karaoke singing your fav 'I would walk 500 miles?' 🤣🤣
@@randyirvine5858 Love that tune 🤣🤣.
I went to Thailand for what was meant to be a one month holiday and stayed in Chiang Mai for the next 10 years. The first three weeks that I was there I thought that I had ended up in "male heaven." I was out every night drinking to the the early morning. Thank god that I realised if I was going to stay (and this is just me) I would have to give up the drink! Then next 10 years of life were some of the best of my life. Easily the best decision I ever made. I was helped by the boys at the McCormick hospital AA meeting which I think was the key (I think the meeting is still there). Found friends that didn't drink. Still used to go out to the bars, etc., with my mates, buy 'lady' drinks and all of that - but would only drink 'nam soda.' It was very interesting that when it got around with Thai women that I met that I didn't drink, I seemed to attract a completely different Thai woman. Met my wife and now have been in a wonderful marriage with an amazing 17 year old daughter for the las 20 years. As I said, easily the best decision I ever made!
Hey Matt, thanks for sharing this mate. Some great advice for people to read from someone who's been here 10 plus years. I agree mate, I couldn't live here and be in the bars every night, I would be a mess.
Great to hear that life is good now buddy! Thanks 🙏
@@WalkAboutWayne Thanks, Wayne! Love your channel. I'll be in CM next year. Hope to see you around. Cheers.
@@WalkAboutWayne The great thing about Thailand is you can go out and have an absolutely "wild" night and never have a drink! It was the perfect place for me to get sober!
Thank you, Wayne. I first visited the cemetery in February 1971, second time in April 2005. I must visit again.
Wow amazing! I guess it's a lot different now. I did see the cemetery use to have white crosses instead of the plaques they have now. Do you remember that?
I was in holiday mode when I first came to Tangiers 16 months ago. Lots of adventures and misadventures, but definitely not a way to live life long term. Thankfully, my misadventures steered me towards exploring a more spiritual approach to living my life. Now, I am grateful for everything.
Very true Brian, can't keep living the party lifestyle. I'm happier being a middle aged man these days.
nice one WW, pleased to hear you havent turned into a monk just yet! lol..its good to live a little.. keep the cogs wet 🤪
Still a bit of life in the old dog mate. It was nice to have a blow out. Back to living like a old man now though , just how I like it 👍
Love your videos, Im planning to live in Chiang Mai next year. Your videos are a huge help to prepare for living in Thailand.
Thank you so much for liking the videos, much appreciated. I hope the move to Chiang Mai goes well and hope to see you around.
Good vlog WW - I haven’t had a hangover for 15 yrs - even Once in a blue moon with a mate from homeland would be too much for me 🥳😂🤯 - you’ve done well 👌👍👋
I was feeling good! The next day after this was when I felt more rough. Back to early mornings and green tea now mate. Thanks Ant.
i really like the advice. good stuff.
Thanks 👌
Great stuff Wayne,
I have acquaintances here in bang saray that are always asking for cash, they have some creative stories as to why they need a loan, ect.
I am living on a budget myself ,and don’t want to lend money, because once you do it once,,there is always a second, third ,fourth time.
Take care mate
Luckily my mate had all his own money. I didn't even have to lend the 1000 baht in the end. He's back home working now, trying to come back soon haha.
Had a friend who I met in a bar once who I hadn't seen for a long time. I bought a round, then he bought one. After 3 rounds I was done (not a fan of getting plastered). He said he was buying another round, I said don't waste the money because I wasn't going to drink it. By the time I was done nursing that 3rd beer, he had 4 more in front of me. I stood up, told him I had to go and to enjoy the beers he bought!
Haha that sounds spot on! Yep, that's what friends from home do. Saying NO just don't register with them haha.
Very nice place dear
Thank you so much 🙂
I partied like that in my 20's and I was so relieved to leave that part of my life behind, it's exhausting and expensive. I understand why you want your life to go back to your regular relaxed Chiang Mai life with an occasional beer!
It was nice to have a night out but I could never go back to that every day. Early mornings and a clear head is what I love these days 👍
@@WalkAboutWayne
I am 27, but I live a balanced life so I get the opportunity to experience all of this. That is the best way to experience any place in the world, balance.
I would spend like 2-3 days out of the week partying, the rest of the time just watching sunrises and sunsets and exploring. I think I'm at around 44 of the 70 provinces explored.
Came upon your channel from youtube algorithms. Every man needs their peace, solace, and tranquility. Hope you enjoy Chiang Mai as I am searching for an escape from chaotic USA and looking for my peace.
Thanks for coming over to the channel. I hope you can find your escape soon 👌
I hope you find what you're looking for rxy x
A quick glimpse into your previous life...and a great opportunity to enjoy a moment 'back in time'.
It was good for the 1 day , I enjoyed it but I enjoyed getting back to normal more 🤣
@@WalkAboutWayne hahahaha Yeah, it's fun for a while, for the minute. Your friend needs to come to understand that once the clock strikes midnight, Cinderella must go back to her old life. The coach turns into a pumpkin, mate!
Good on ya mate.
Cheers John 👍
Wow! That is some serious drinking your mate was doing. It's something I enjoyed along with the disco biscuits back in the day but now, I'm here, chilled, live very similar to you. I live very frugally and love the lifestyle here. A beer every now and then is fine but smashing it every night is a waste of time and money. Can't take the hangovers and the feeling of cringe the following morning.
He defo had a good 6 month holiday 🤣🤣. I'm happy to be back to early nights and early mornings 👍
I remember those days but don't miss them at all. Thailand has a lot more to offer than what you find on Loy Kroh.
100% mate! I would have been home years ago if I was out on the lash most nights.
I know exactly what you mean. I spend six months in CM every year. I love the quiet (routine/boring?) life there. I hate it when visitors come from UK and expect wild parties. I like to keep the two worlds separate.
Yes , I like the same . Boring life away from my old life , that's perfect for me. 👍
50K in 6 months - wow. Hopefully you end up on the right side of the ledger constantly lending out. I think he is safer staying put in the UK man. Save up for the annual trip, do his thing and continue that cycle. He's not capable of managing the finances long term there. Good on you Wayne for being a good mate. Back to normal life tomorrow. Good stuff man. 🤩
That’s a party right there
50k in 6 months
In Thailand none the less
I am not sure if I could spend that much there … but I would have fun trying haha
I’m in Southeast Asia all year
In Malaysia now
I think I spend under two grand a month
He's been staying at some top resorts in Koh Samui and all over. Buying everyone drinks. He had a right good blow out though. He's back working hard back home already.
I myself have had enough "Changovers" in Chiang Mai and nowadays it's maybe ONE night per week I'm on the piss and that's that! There are plenty of OTHER activities to engage in within CM--or any OTHER part of Thailand! You definitely DO have it straight, Wayne! Cheers from Cape Cod--love your Patriots T-shirt! ;-)
Yes, I think one night a week would be ok. I prefer my early mornings and green tea . Thank you buddy 👌
👍😎
👌👌👌
There’s a lot to be said for a ‘boring life’ you’re obviously comfortable with your life, may it continue for as long as you want it to x
Cheers mate.
I think you are on the right path Wayne. Interesting video and good information.
Thanks buddy 🙂
555, if your pal blew through that much money in Chiang Mai, just think what he will spend in Bangkok! Lots more temptation there. He may have an even longer list of old pals there to borrow from... You look pretty good for 15 hours of drinking the day before. Two beers and I'm weaving.
He's had a damn good holiday 🤣. Spent a fortune . He's back home working now and planning to come back haha
If you are contented within yourself then your life will be amazing.
Very true 👍
Wayne, you don't know how much I wish to have a boring life like you do. 😂 Holiday every day ! You are my inspiration to stop working one day and travel like you are doing now. Honestly, I am waiting for your blog every day. It is just something my chaotic life can enjoy for a while. Have I ever said thank you for what you have done for Chiang Mai ? By the way, I still watch your Song Kran clip.😅 Hope you still enjoy life here. Take care
Wow, thank you so much Tracy, I'm happy the videos can cheer you up. Chiang Mai is the winner, I'm just a passenger in this great city. Thank you , I appreciate your kind words 🙏💗
Spent 2 weeks in Chiang Mai. Left yesterday evening. Thought I could see you holding a camera beside a road. But did not have the chance. But then, I was in Patun, a place with hardly any foreigner and hardly any tourist. Went to the city center only once, for the Sunday market.
Nice one mate! Might have been me but so many vloggers in Chiang Mai these days. Safe travel 👍
Sounds like you've had an epiphany, old mate! Catch you for a beer in December? 😂😂😂
Haha. December is different, it's Christmas. Get the beers in 🤣
Your story about your friend “Roy” reminds me of myself. I retired at 50 years of age in 2012. Sold the car and everything. I got a year retirement visa. In nine months, I left! I was deathly ill with Dengue Fever, DNA test at Ram Hospital not only proved it but I was also a father on a baby boy from a bargirl. Flew back to California to avoid blood transfusion. I spent $70,000(USD) in nine months! Back in 2012-13. Learned a lot. Keep coming back, twelve visits in eleven years. Older now, last year: two visits. Can’t handle the heat and humidity (and girls) 🦋
Daaaamn Roger, hope is well now buddy. I always worry about dengue too. The numbers are really high for dengue here at the minute.
@@WalkAboutWayne WOW! I haven’t heard anything about Dengue Fever. This is the first time I’ve heard of anyone mentioning it. Perhaps, a lot of things are happening and in flux. I’m scare of that Dengue; it kicked my ass, big time! 🙏🏼
I hope you're financially supporting your boy from your one night stand.. or did you leave to avoid that too?
Hello my friend, I lived five years in Thailand, the most beautiful years of my life that I spent in that wonderful city. I will never forget those beautiful memories that are still inside me and I still live on them with every moment I live now in my country, Egypt, but I would like one day to be able to go back again to Thailand
I am now 53 years old, but I still have hope in life. My financial life will change one day, and I can get enough money so that I can manage the visa procedures on my pension and return again to Thailand. How I would like to return to that charming country now, but my circumstances have not changed yet. Waiting for a miracle to happen to me from heaven to get me out of this situation I'm in to the best position so that I can once again return to life Back to the country of the beautiful smile Thailand
Hi, thanks for this great message. Don't give up and keep that Thailand dream alive. You'll find a way of making it work . 👍
I had a friend that was asking for money to go home but he spent all the money in bangkok never went home take care mate.
Nice! I would probably just stay here also 🤣. Thanks mate.
My friends came to visit for a week, they just left. I had a great time, but spent a months budget in a week. I'm also glad to get back to my "boring" life. I'm sure you felt better after a few green teas mate
I was right as rain after a few green teas mate 👍
The feeling at the start of the sesh: Let's gooo!
The feeling the next morning: The Thai Boxing match vs. Buakaw Banchamek last night was quite rough!
Party Mode 24/7 might seem fun, however is unproductive.
It's all fun and games at the beginning 🤣 . It was good to have a blow out, I probably needed it but back to early mornings and a clear head now.
The lifestyle you describe is easy to fall into and addictive . The difference living there versus holiday mode would take major adjustment as it’s not financially feasible. So I guess the challenge would be to find a lifestyle that’s not too boring and to avoid that addictive lifestyle . Not easy to do I think . Very tempting to get into .
That's 100% correct. It's all about finding that balance. Thailand can be a downward spiral if you don't have balanced lifestyle. Thanks
Hi Wayne,
I have the same style easy living in the morning Cycling around the ping river and read mine books maybe some people think its boring but I am happy with it , that mine holly day mode.
I love my early mornings with a clear head mate. I probably live like an old man, but I love it .
Waling with Wayne turns into Story-Time with Wayne. Either way....I'll watch the vids.
Loads more stories coming aswell. Mix it up 👍. Cheers
You have ''The Fear'' mate 😆
Fear of my old life coming back 🤣🤣
Good luck 😃👍🏼
Cheers Kashif. Back to the quiet life now mate 👍
👍 just goes to show how easy it is to fail in Thailand 🙏
Yes mate, easy to go full holiday mode.
I'm only in my early 30's but my days of binge drinking are well and truly behind me. I can't deal with the hangovers anymore, I'd rather be in bed early and up ready to attack the day the following morning!
That's the best feeling for me now. I love them early mornings with a clear head. That eats anything for me these days . Thanks 👍
Ping river looks high, must have had a lot of Rain Wayne,
It's been raining off and on mate. Nothing really major yet though.
Fair play Wayne. Glad to see you with a hangover & nice to hear of your tales of going out for a blast...gotta be done sometimes. But also, a big well done on being so disciplined out there 99% of the time, that takes some doing. We all know of so many victims of that lifestyle in Thailand.
Yes mate, it was nice to have a blow out but good to get back to early nights and early mornings 👍
Some bar ladies and bars scored big time with your buddy. Wayne I might be right but, you know, life is so short. I am sure your buddy had a great time, and just think, maybe he could have met a keeper during his partying. It's his life and up to him how he lives it
I think you could be right mate 🤣🤣
I'm in bangkok, and feel the same way about it here. BUT way worse than CM, CM doesn't have as much temptation. I will be back up there soon.
Yes, Chiang Mai is a little bit more laid back. That can work against you here also though.
🥰🥰🥰
🙏🙏♥️
weed is pretty available ,can get that laidback feeling and just walk around and chill mostly
Sure, most people are chilled here even without the smoke.
Sounds as if you supported your mate as well as you could and now you've been rewarded with the chance to go back to your usual, more relaxing routine.
I'd really like to walk in the park you made your video in. Can I access it by simply walking down towards the river from Thapae Gate (along Thapae Road) and then it's on your right just before the traffic bridge ?
He's a good guy really, he had a big holiday blowout and now he's back to work.
The park is Kawila Park on the Ping River. But if a walk from the gate buddy. You need to go over the iron bridge and turn right, down Lamphun road .
@@WalkAboutWayne Thanks, Wayne ! It looks as if it can be combined with looking in at Warorot Market on the way there...
Looks like you pulled up ok Wayne 🙃There's definitely a difference between being in holiday mode and living your day to day routine.
I wasn't to bad considering. Yes, that balance of holiday and living is hard for a lot of people. Hope you good Kirsty 🙏
Just the thousandth person saying the boring life isn’t so bad.. and actually good! Glad you didn’t spend much.. and yes, we know you. 😂
🤣🤣 cheers mate . Boring life is good 👌.
Wayne love your channel but i would not like friends like this dude, I will help anyone strangers alike but i think this bloke has taken the you no what, cheers.
He's a good lad really mate, just on full holiday mode. None of it was my money. Thanks mate.
I would give everything to be there. My kids are so against it! I a, 66 widowed and a very small build, they say I am a walking target! So happy for you! I left those ways long ago, it does feel great to be free!
I hope you can come over one day buddy. You could live a nice chilled life here.
Jeez, it's not the Bronx mate, it's Thailand. Violent assaults / robbery are very rare .
Wayne I have enjoyed your videos. I'm sorry you are having a rough morning after.
Please be cautious with your friend. Buy him a bus ticket instead of giving him cash. You can like him, even love him, and still keep good boundaries. It sounds like he is not able to control his spending, which deserves sympathy but not trust.
Thanks for liking the videos. My friend is ok, he's got his own money and didn't need the bus fare from me in the end. Just needed another transfer . Thanks
WOW! Your mate can drink.
😒
He was on full mode 👍
@@WalkAboutWayne I’d be dead Wayne .
I have a blowout on a Friday.drink enough for the week in 1 session.agreed with the ice but stay away from the top shelf.
Yes, when that top shelf is involved, you know things are getting serious 🤣
every moment in life is a choice. Choose to avoid these people and situations. just do you!
Ahh he's a good lad really. I'm happy to be back on the green tea though . Thanks
Your mate reminds me of myself, I spent way too much, not as much as him but I went through £20k in 6 months and then I had to go home because I ran out of money, that was in 2017, I'm saving up to come back but next time I'm gonna be a lot more sensible with my spending. I know how you feel, as you get older it takes longer to get over hangovers, takes me about a week these days. When I come back it'll just be to chill and relax, can't wait mate.
Also ill be avoiding friends from back home, lol
Nice one Mark, 20k sounds like a mad 6 months mate. That's right man, if you spend it wisely it will go so much further. You can still have a good time also. My mate is back home grafting saving again.
Tip: always let your bank know you are going overseas,or,you might get there and find you can't use your bank card!!
Another, tip: make sure before leaving home ,that your bank will replace your card in case you lose it,or it's stolen. Some banks won't send a replacement!!!
That's right Robert, although most banks say you don't need to tell them anymore. I never trust that though and always let them know.
@@WalkAboutWayne
I agree, tell them before leaving. I had Wells Fargo bank. When my card was stolen, there was 5,000 dollars withdrawn .I reported it stolen to my bank .Upon returning to The States, Wells Fargo insisted that I had not reported it,and I was refused insurance compensation for my loss!! When reporting an illegal tranaction authorization make sure your bank sends you a written receipt that you reported it!! I unfortunately did not ask for one.
Keep it easy man ... OMG 😅
Cheer man 👍
Did I hear you right? 50K in 6 months?! Most of it spent in bars? Jeez
Wayne, you do you man, which is pretty darn good from where I'm sitting!
Yes! He had a total blowout. He never did come back either.
@@WalkAboutWayne Bloody hell! He lives a Risky lifestyle that's for sure! I hope he is ok and you too-worrying about someone is not a pleasant experience.
'virtual hug'
Mates from home are a nightmare.
100% they are my weak spot. They can always get me out 🤣
Bus to BBK from CM is 400B. Non VIP
Nice one, he got a flight in the end.
I feel ya.. when I was living in VN I had a few sessions with someone from back home or a fellow countryman had got to know and after a few sessions and chats then get hit up for some money or some shit.. sadly there are so many who will try it on.. there are also some who travel and think they can live off someone else's coin.. very sad.. very much agree with the point.. Living there is very different from a Holiday there!!
Cheers Mark! My buddy had he's own money and he's alot richer than me but he had no way of getting at it without a card. It's so easy to get on the beer with friends from back home. Haha
guess he never heard of Western Union lol there is a huge drinking culture out there for sure so I get ya.. so easy to start out with just 1 and end up on a proper session.. can't deny I haven't been there myself before.. but tbh some of those spontaneous sessions can be the most fun! just not everyday lol
@@WalkAboutWayne
Thanks, Wayne, great honest share. The wife and I arrive Chiang Mai, for 1 month, on 11 September - we hope to cross paths walking about - cheers!
Hey Jim, hope to see you around the city mate.
Have a pasty, all will be well again 🙂
Funny enough I've been eating pasties lately. Not a Cornish one but very very close.
A grand a week for 6 months?! Bloody hell he’s been bang on it hasnt he? His liver will thank him once he’s back in the UK😂 That little coffee shop in the grounds is a good place to sort your hangover out,the girls do a great green tea mate.
He's been living it up that's for sure. He's had a great blow out. Not one of my fav coffee shops that mate. Get some water sometimes though 👍
Now back to your quiet life Wayne. After a day back on the wild side.
I stepped back over to the dark side for a day mate 🤣. Back to my early mornings and clear head now. Can't beat it.
Yeah, there comes a time when you got to hang up your driking cap , getting pissed out my head evey weekend is well a truly behind me now, just waiting to live these quiet life in Chiang Mai and other areas in Thailand and South East Asia. Take it easy boy
Yes Leila, them days are happily behind me. I really enjoy being fresh and getting up early. I sort of love living like a old man, I love it haha.
Sometimes people come back into your life that you left behind, and wish wish they stayed there
That would be a problem for me I think. I been gone to long.
You got a good heart bro but got to beware of friends. Don’t let friends or family mess up your peace & life. Drinking & all the things from my past doesn’t do it for me anymore. 🙏🙏🙏
Never did it for me in the first place.
Cheers Buddy! He's a good lad really but I hear what your saying, easy to get in the drink with friends .
Wats crakin Wayne! I get the feeling you were a hooligan back home jk. Hey, we all have skeletons in the closet, but as long as you put the effort to change that's all it counts. 👍
I was just your normal lad, nothing bad , just a party animal 🤣. Cheers mate.
Glad you survived such a big drinking session Wayne. Also hope you get that 1K loan money back. Your friend seems to have very deep pockets if he's able to blow 50K pounds over 6 months. Maybe I got that figure wrong but that's what it seemed like from what you said in this video. It was good you helped him out with the money transfer. Why couldn't he get a replacement bank card sent out to Thailand? I've never blown anywhere near that much money even on a relatively short trip to Thailand. Holiday mode in moderation is fine but long term unsustainable. Hope you're feeling better now.
I'm all good thanks mate. I didn't need to lend him in the end, I done another transfer for him. Yes mate, you heard correct, around 50k. He's got a great job , so will earn that again in no time. Could of got a card yes. Back to normal life for me now 👍👍
Best way to find out who your real mates are is to let them take responsibility for their own finances. 6 months visa, didn't bring a penny! You gotta be joking 😮
Well, he was loaded but just couldn't get at it 🤣. He was lucky a few people here helped with bank transfers . 👍
I really feel for your mate him spending 700 pounds in a day is madness and his Thai girlfriend going back to the UK will be his best beat booze is nice but it's too messy I couldn't live in Thailand over 30 years ago because I would go on binges with chasing the dragon I would of been dead within 6 months I could only handle being in Thailand weeks or few months I hope you get back to your peaceful life Govener Thailand is the best place on earth for me but only in moderation ❤😊
I'm back on the green tea and early nights now 🤣.
What visa did he have? Visa exemption can only be extended to 2 months.
Dunno, but I know he done 1 land border 👍
@@WalkAboutWayne he could have had 45 days plus 30 and land border 30 plus 30. Nearly 5 months and you’re only allowed two exemption entries a year. I guess that’s why he is going home. I hope he can earn a lot of money in the Uk to pay for his Thai lifestyle!
@@Androgen321 Yes mate, I think it was around 5 months. I never really asked him much about it but I do remember he said he's done 1 land. Ofcourse, he could have tried many more by air but he had to go home I think. Yeah, believe it or not, he has a top job back home.
6 mths in Toyland Lol
🤣🤣
I will give you a small bit of good advice (if you will). Life is not perfect, the measure of a man is how you overcome obstacles - sometimes self inflicted. Anyway, I stopped drinking a few years ago and I like to drink (it was fun). But, I made a decision that I liked feeling better by not drinking and it also was not compatible with my otherwise very healthy life. So, I made a promise to myself that I could drink again when I just don't care anymore. Hopefully that is a long time from now. Cheers. Just a FYI I do not demonize alcohol and it is not evil like a lot of things in life - it is just a choice we all can make one way or another.
Nice one David 👍
Hi Wayne you up for coffee this Arvo.. near old city
Hey buddy, message me on Instagram or Facebook. It's a lot easier to make plans on there.
Hi Wayne. As part of your growth and positive changes, have you tried Buddhist meditation and yoga? Find someone who teaches jhana (concentration) meditation; not just vipassana.
I'm always in with the Monks mate. Once a day without fail lately.
@@WalkAboutWayne Fantastic. I was a Buddhist monk myself for a number of years. I lived a monastic life in the UK and had a great time. I was taught to attain jhana before each vipassana meditation; without being in a state of intense concentration you cannot really develop lasting insight. Back in the 70s Thai monks were almost discouraged from practicing jhana but there has been a revival recently.
Once you settle down and enter access concentration it is just a matter of applying yourself and the jhanas will arise. And that is a very enjoyable experience. Eventually, drop back down to first jhana and practice your vipassana (insight) meditation.
Ask the monks: the Buddha only gained Enlightenment after first mastering jhana and none of his followers gained Enlightenment without first mastering jhana.
Wayne 50k that's alot.hope he don't regret it
Yeah he had a right blow out! I know it don't sound like it but he can earn a lot of money back home.
How did he make it 6 months so far without any bank cards?
Good of you to help him out
He had a couple other mates doing the transfers for him but they wasn't around for the last few weeks 👍
Yeah it's no good man, you'd be having to change your title for starters to Stagger About Wayne or Stumble About Wayne or Falling About Wayne and your catch phrase would have to change to "Tumbling down from northern Thailand" or "Tripping over again in beautiful Chiang Mai" and "Neck it down easy man, chug it down again easy man, sink one more easily". Wayne's walking about wonky again.
Haha I had a good laugh reading this. I like falling about Wayne. It could be a new bar channel, falling into bars. Thanks
you got your head on straight buddy...
Cheers mate. It took a few years but i found how I wanted to live 👍

Yes! It was nice to go out, but in moderation.
How did he get a Thai missus for 6 months 😂😂😂
Easy, you can get one on the first day and tell her your coming back 🤣

He must've bought everyone's drinks all night or got ripped off.
Glad I don't drink or frequent bars.

It sounds like it's time to wash it out, and do some calming. Maybe pick up a good book, and do some reading, and sip some tea. I am still trying to calm my cannabis consumption, so I can just take it, or leave it. I am tired of it making a fool of me.
I stopped all that years ago mate. I wasted loads of my life on the smoke. Not saying it's bad for others, but I just couldn't function on it at all. I had other friends who could go work after a smoke. I was done for the day after a smoke.
YES, GET BACK TO UR NORMAL LIFE....MUCH HEALTHIER, HA.
Back to early mornings, clear head and green tea 👌
