I was unaware that Lifepower EG4 batteries do not work with LV6548 inverters, they will not communicate with each other! Currently no software update will fix this.
I have a quick question for you I have one system set up but need to set up another system can I ground both neutrals to the same ground rod or will it cause problems with the other system
Bought two mpp lv-6548 from watts247, just picked up two g4ll batteries from signature solar them being the most economical at this time. Can you tell me if I can plug a RG45 from the lv-6548 li-port straight to the rs485 communications port on their battery, or do I need to purchase the adapters you are using?
Ian, could you please share the FW version of these lv6548? I have 2 batteries in parallel set to 1 and 2 for DIP switches and I get them connected but I receive the error 4 :( Thank you!

And can you tell me the programming password when we enter bms tools when we want to modify something that asks for the password, can we know it please
Ian, I have a lv6548 I purchased from you two years ago. my firmware reads as follows, U1 45 07 U2 12 06 U3 88 88. Any idea if either of these batteries will communicate with this firmware? I want to buy 3 of them while they are on sale.

I found them on ebay , search for "Ethernet RJ45 Male Screw Terminal 8Pin CCTV Digital DVR Adapter"
The WP model also uses Pins 3 and 5. For BMS, it looks like the industry is standardizing on pins 1 and 2. 7 and 8
