Hi, I have the same battery (Qcell BAT63), but it’s been in the box for over two years and is now completely dead. The BMS isn’t activating, and I’m wondering if there’s a way to charge it or bring it back to life. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

is it true that you can over amp the PV input as long as the voltage is in range? I'm hoping to get more power in the morning and evening from my over size panel. yes i know it will clip the peak but I'm ok with that

You have brought Extremely important things to mind that I did not consider, I have The exact same setup and Will be removing it from service here shortly. I will be looking into newer inverters spec way more before i purchase it... I agree 100% this is a unsafe practice though there are ways around but there is to much IFs in the remedies to warrant use of this setup. NOT WORTH THE GAMBLE. Thanks for the in depth video with explanation and demonstration of what happens. My system is currently about 4-5years old, all i need is a glitch in one part and my wife/children are at risk. Honestly don't know how i haven't had a problem already.

If you HAD to do the fix shown here, I think it would be best to remove the circuit board and place an insulator pad between the ground and neutral points, just to rule out vibration-induced arcing. It could be as simple as a few layers of electrical tape.

your problem is bad workmanship. Nothing wrong with this product. It's working exactly as it should. Make sure your panel lugs are tight and everything is built correctly - and only tie your neutral to ground at one point. Follow code.

Hi, quick question. Do the LVX6048 also have the same issue?? I believe they also have the auto transformer.

Is it allowed to mount them with cables facing downwardly?

Hi I try with my 6000T but program never come up after clicking the icon, but if I disconnect my USB com3 then the program come up but doesn't detect it, try with 2 cables, 2 laptops and different comes and it do the same, I also factory default the unit but no joy, uart windows driver was installed so not sure if the inv USP port is good or not. Anyone with the same issue ???, the unit is only 5 months old...

Hi Ian I am having a bit of a issue with the solar assistant I have got two inverters in parallel and when I use charge source priority and set a time to charge from the grid it only charges from one inverter and not both any ideas how to fix this please

Floating an inverter will disable some of the inverter's surge protection.

If its running off the batteries only, what's the low voltage cut off for it?

I have one of these connected to my 4 Lifepo4 batteries that is connected in both series and parallel. But even if I double triple and quadruple checked I somehow managed to connect it to the battery with - and + wrong, I do not know if it is ruined or not as it does only light up when it is balancing?

Will it supply the homes main panel with battery and or solar power by utilizing only the grid input connections. Doing zero export with Cts?

Either discharge the higher voltage battery or charge the lower voltage battery. too easy

I see risk of a set of keys or random pocketed screwdriver potentially causing a nasty arc-flash or fire. Too many exposed terminals of high capacity battery modules and breakers that should be metal boxes. Wow! But really cool from a tech head perspective.

Im using an old trace sw5548 and have picked up the trace T240 autotransformer. The inverter has its own transformer. Following trace manual for wiring in their autotransformer shows the same wiring. Will my system present as a hazard if I do add the transformer?.... Ah, I asked my question too soon it seems? This is a European issue with the way their power is delivered not a problem in the US? Just need verification because, as youve stated, our 230 transformers utility pole Y type delivers 120 each leg with common/neutral center.... correct?

Ian, so for us with the older now LV5048 or LV6048, what is our best upgrade path. For me I built my solar array with the benefits of the lower VDC of the solar inputs on the 5048 so I can tolerate shading easier but now most of these new inverters won't work with my configuration ~40ish volt panels in 2P so around 80-90V. What is the best option and I can't get another 5048(to combine two) or easily upgrade my 5048 to anything.

Absolute gold info, showed me so many things i didn't think were possible. I have a Hive (Alpha Ess) battery, grid connected. 5.8 KWH 3KW output and was told i cannot add a different battery without removing this one. What do you think?, Is it possible with grid connect to add another battery, I have 2 seperate solar arrays with 2 seperate 5kw inverters

Put a voltmeter on your leads, that inverter voltmeters are not accurate, your charge is most likely 2v higher than set #, same with float. When not charging inverter will show -1.5 lower than actual. Glad to see you got the new display. Now you have to lower the values enough to be accurate and not overcharge. The new display shows clipped values and the charge volts # is float volts on mine .

I purchased this model for a lead acid battery stack of two 12v batteries. It started to work and the B light was flashing as that battery voltage was much higher. After a few minutes I heard a pop and the B light stayed on steady. The batteries did eventually balance, but then the B battery voltage became higher than A, yet the light for the A battery continued to stay lit. It seems the balancer failed within 5 minutes of installation.

Hi i recently aquired a kit of 5 V5 pytes batteries. I wanted to add these to my current 48100R pytes battery bank of 600ah. (around 30Kwh). Unfortunately i was told i cannot parallel them because they are different model. Can you tell me how can i make them work together? many thanks

I feel you are correct in that it may not be the right bike for the job. Watching the development and eventual, often delayed, release of real product into the wild, I was always under the impression this bike was sharply motocross focused. Battery wise, it only has to last a moto. Suspension and handling wise, it is set up for a mx track. Surprised the handling/suspension differences between the ktm and SV were not mentioned. Maybe it was mentioned and I missed it, but for what you are wanting, how is the ktm? It appears to be a solid platform. Being a totally new product, it is not surprising it has some bugs. Oddly enough, I have not heard a single peep from any of the motocross channels about the charger, or throttle cutting out under full load. The throttle issue is something that is absolutely dangerous on a motocross track. Having the throttle cut out at the wrong time off a jump face could easily cause the front to rotate down causing an endo, easily resulting in serious bodily injury. Wow! This is a serious issue that never should have made it into the wild! Anyhow, yeah, I am jealous. Looks like you have a vast riding area, probably some great trails, and lots of toys to enjoy. Ride on.
