Picked up a bottle of Ceramic Speed Shine today. I had washed and clay'd my truck back in November, then finished it off with 2 coats of your 3 in 1 Ceramic Wax. I have never really washed the truck since, I sprayed it off a couple times in the morning before heading out, but that was it. Today I properly washed the truck and used the Ceramic Speed Shine afterwards . . . all I can say is WOW. The 3 in 1 wax has held up amazing, and the Ceramic Speed Shine really put an amazing rich, glossy, and smooth finish on it. The thing that amazes me is the truck is a 2006, yep 15 years old . . . and minus a few scratches and small dings, the paint seems better than new! Thanks for making such a great product Griot's !
I used the Griot's synthetic clay applicator on a car that has set outside for 7 years. I was amazed at the results when used in tandem with Griot's Ceramic Speed Wash! This also gives excellent results on windshield and side glass too!!
Huge fan of the traditional speed shine. My car has a real ceramic coat on it and lasts 5 years. Now i get to clean my car and boost it's protection. Thanks guys! Great work!
Oh, I’m excited to see Ceramic Speed Shine on the shelf at my local Advanced Auto store. Now, when asked “what makes it shine like that?” I can tell them to get it in town before going home 😆
Ok, bought my first bottle of Ceramic Speed Shine. 57° outdoors. Don’t need to do a complete wash because I haven’t driven my Mustang GT since I last washed it. I applied a couple of coats of Ceramic 3-in-1 wax in December.
@@GriotsGarage after first application, we have had 2 inches of rain in three days. Sun came out today. Planning to do a quick wash tomorrow. Interested to see how much easier the road dirt comes off. Going to pick up a bottle of Ceramic Wash & Coat to use.
This product will leave oily streaks on your car. Thought I would try it out. Spent more time trying to buff and use more product to get the streaks out. Ended up getting out the polisher and using a polish to get the streaks out.
You'll want to apply another coat to get rid of the streaking. Streaking with the Ceramic Speed Shine or our Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax can happen for a couple reasons. Most common is over application, you want to mist it on a panel such as the hood. Use a nice thick microfiber towel such as our PFM Edgeless Detailing Towels or Microfiber Plush Edgeless Towels. Wipe the hood or panel, then use a separate, dry towel for buffing to ensure no streaks. One other thing is you want at least 4 towels per vehicle, switching them out before the towel becomes too saturated and always using a second towel for buffing. Another common issue is applying in direct sunlight or to a warm panel, if done while a panel is warm the product will flash too quickly resulting in streaking.
@@GriotsGarage thank you for your response. Used the 3 in 1 on my red pickup after I corrected the paint. Came out very nice. Did go through a lot of micro fiber towels. A few weeks later after a wash the ceramic speed shine made it look freshly done. Did go through a lot of towels. Thanks for the advice and love the products now.
I have 3 in 1 on as a base layer, can I use this after weekly washing or will that become too much overtime? Drive 160 miles a day 4 days a week. Thanks
Question, I have the 3-in-1 ceramic wax, as my base coat. I wash my car every weekend. What would be the best method to compliment the 3-in-1? Can I use the ceramic wash in the foam cannon, dry the car, then apply ceramic speed shine? What are you recommendations on completing the 3-in-1. Thank you!
Great question! Using Ceramic Wash & Coat through the foam cannon would be the perfect compliment to your existing Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax base layer. Keep in mind, the protection it provides is serious so using it every weekend could create product build up on the surface since you're applying it much much faster than it diminishes over time. That being said, we'd suggest using Ceramic Wash & Coat once a month or so and a different soap for your other weekend washes to avoid unwanted build up on the surface. Then you can use Ceramic Speed Shine for those quick details between washes.
From my understanding the 3-1 ceramic wax is the more durable product which should be the base layer, use that before this product in video. The product shown is a topper to the 3-1. So it shouldn’t be more durable. But it will help maintain the 3-1
Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax is paint protection. Use it like you'd use a polymer based wax or carnauba wax. It lasts many months. It does not include cleaning properties, however. Ceramic Speed Shine is a detailer with added ceramic and polymer paint protection. On its own it won't last the same length of time as Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax, but it cleans like Speed Shine while also adding the paint protection. It will work as a topper on existing ceramic-based paint protection, among other uses like described in this video. So, it's a light lubricious cleaner with some paint protection added. If you are looking to add your 'base coat' of paint protection, this isn't really the ideal choice.. that's where Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax comes into play, or any of the other wax products from Griot's. After that, use this to keep that base coat going strong and to lightly detail your paint as well.
Hank's Detailing and Joel Parker hit the nail on the head! Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax is a protection/wax product and Ceramic Speed Shine is a quick detailer. They pair great together when using Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax for protection and Ceramic Speed Shine for those quick clean ups between washes.
The lol was you lightly footing around the, Maybe they'll offer me free products because I'm a detailer. Like the wish I could have won comment on whatever giveaway they were doing lol. All their products are fantastic, Go buy a bottle or 2 and try them out. Their 3 in 1 Ceramic wax is the most durable spray product I've ever used. The ceramic speed shine as an all around product is just as good. Some of the only ( Ceramic) products where you'll actually see white sedament at the bottom of the bottle.
So I know you guy just came to the market with ceramics; But are you going to come to the market with a graphine coating? The car detailing industry is moving so fast.
Great question! We're following the graphene trend, but when developing any new product we won't bring a product to market unless we're confident it is the best out there.

speed shine is my absolute favorite quick detailer, looking forward to using the new one!
Did a graphene ceramic coating recently and just tried this for the first time. Left all sorts of streaking and smudging, what am I doing wrong?
I have the Griot's ceramic all in one wax can this be used as a maintenance?
Yes
I just used this car had 2 step correction polished and coat of wax was smooth as glass then use this and now it’s like sand paper why?
Hi Christina, we haven't heard of this issue before but we're here to help! Are you seeing any streaking on the surface where it feels rough?
Oh man! I can’t wait!
Awesome product 👊 Thank you 👍
Do you have to have a ceramic base coat to use this product?
Yes! We suggest our Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax
