Well I heard him say it was a beef roast, so it’s from a cow. They are often called “chuck roast” or a “rump roast” and even additional names. I don’t know which kind he actually cooked. I think I heard that the chuck roasts are more tender, plus they kind of shred apart.
Your cooking is Frank and Dory approved. I love that! I didn’t realize that you cook a roast the way that you do, or like Alene did. I would eat “that puppy” any ole day Bub, except I would add more taters➕🥔➕🥔 and finish out the bag of those unwanted baby carrots that were left on the counter➕👶🏼🥕➕👶🏼🥕. It looked amazing Bubba. This sis is super impressed with you (again/always). Did you have any leftovers to make a stew with? BTW, I guess I tend to cook my pot roasts more like mom used to do. I put seasonings in some flour, dredge the roast in the flour and then lightly brown the meat on all sides before I put it in a big cast iron enamel Dutch oven. It makes a delicious thickened gravy in the pan. Or I stick the raw unfloured roast in a crock pot and cook it basically the same as you. I JUST DON’T COOK ANY MUSHROOMS!!! (like never, ever, ever) 😖😆🤣
This dish is a jubilation of culinary finesse. Happiness on a plate! Each bite is a voyage through layers of exquisite taste.
Lol! 😄
I ate this meal and here to leave a 5 star review! Good amount of vegetables!
I think I'm gonna make me some this week
What time is dinner?
Is the meat you buy just called “pork roast”?
