Edited by YouCut:app.youcut.net/BestEditor
In this video I explain a little bit about where I've been for the last month. I finally get the bathroom door installed with trim molding.
Also I acquired a vise and get it installed on my work table.

did your new spindle come with threaded bolt holes? I ordered new spindles and mine were all clean straight through holes nothing for my bolts to thread into
Negative. I ended up using a nut and bolt. Somebody else commented that they come from the factory like that and they use a threading bolt.
@@keithwallick7440 do you know what size bolt and how long you went with and also what combination of washers you used? Ill just order everything vs ho try and match it all up at hardware store
@@johnhicks3890 I'm not on the property currently. I don't have that information available right now.
I remember growing up we had a old vise just like yours except it was black. I need to get me one
They're handy! 👍
If this ain't the cutest interaction ❤
They need each other. The love is real.
How cute!!!
SHADE TREES cause themselves so much extra useless work when they DON'T bother to have a Operators & Parts manual
Bet you didn't know that when you run those blades to that wore out condition the UNBALANCED blades will beat those spindles to death, replacement blades and or sharpening them and RE-BALANCING is cheaper than buying new spindles
I'm sure you have a point! But I would venture to say it's the rough terrain, the rocks, the sticks and limbs that I run over. The utter abuse that I put that machine through on my property. There's nothing about my property that is a golf course like lawn.
@@keithwallick7440 We have that in common
Ones threaded & the other isn't is BECAUSE at the factory we used self tappers
Good to know!👍
I have an old 350Z that is ragged out but I’m sure not ready to part with it, and either way I can’t afford it. The blade on the spindle that I replaced last year fell off today then got wobbly pretty fast after I put it back on pretty tight by hand wrench standards. A year ago I put it on right with a hand wrench and a long pipe. It seems like if it wasn’t tight enough a year ago it would have fell of a lot sooner but I can’t find anything else wrong. The spindle isn’t wobbly or hot. The blade, bolt and washers are bad hot but that’s only because of friction from the loosening and turning I think. EDIT: and it looks like we got the same aftermarket spindle…??? So have you had any problems with yours?
The reviews on the spindle were not great as best I remember. Also the spindle mounting holes where the bolts go through are not threaded. But I just put longer bolts through with nuts on them. The first spindle that I replaced last year in the middle seem to go bad pretty quick and I had already bought two more and stored them away. I'm waiting to see how long this one's going to last. I haven't found another source for spindles that will match that. I was thinking I might have to adapt a different spindle to it at some point in time as best I remember I think when I put the blade on there I had to put a extra washer on to tighten down the nut cuz something about the spacing wasn't right. So far I like the machine but it just seems like you have to keep up with maintenance on an older unit.
Frank invited Cat to live with y’all. Good boy Frank!!! Daddy loves you…❤… (& Cat)
Why pull the deck my husband just changed both spindles on ours and didn't need to remove it. Someone told him years ago do things smarter not harder. He's disabled so removing deck would of been a lot more unnecessary work.
Yeah I suppose it depends on the model or how many spindles you have. Maybe some are easier to access than others. Mine was difficult to get to the center one. But you have a point.
Easier to pull the deck and have full access to all connection points. That is working smarter!
Hope you get some help soon.
Coming tomorrow! Thanks! 🙂
Nice work!
Beast of a chainsaw!
What's the model number on the Serial plate?
It is a snapper 360z
@@keithwallick7440 That's NOT the actual Model number, I was going to get you a parts & Operators manual for it, I worked at the factory
Are those front wheels SOLID replacements?? What is the brand & part number if you don't mind
They are Weize universal flat free Wheels off of Amazon
3:06 I have 3 of those types of lifts ( from Harbor Freight ) & I love them, the ONLY thing I DON'T like is the Lift / Lower chain loop is too long, sometimes whenever I get a welder out to my place I will cut a section out of it & have the welder patch the ends back together
Yeah that chain is a little long!
HF has a good chain hoist for cheap and it works great 👍 Had two of them for years now
Love it! Thanks
Start Small and Add as you go and Need. Perfect setup
Looks like the blades were installed upside down
The center andd the one on the right on the video which is prob left on the machine
Have to check
Did you check?
@@lawncare504 No. That property is out of town. Had a medical event in the family. Haven't been back to much. Thanks. Will check at some point.
The Snapper , Symplicity and now Stihl arre owned by Briggs and Stratton along with Ferris. Many of the mowers are simple rebrands but not all so the parts are interchangeable between name plates.
Good to know but I wish there was a real good place to find a cross reference for those kind of parts.
"Stihl arre owned by Briggs and Stratton" <<<< NOT so sure about that, I worked at the Snapper plant when Simplicity bought Snapper & then B&S bought us & Ferris, a HUGE BAD move for customers and the McDonough Snapper plant, they stripped the assets, & closed the doors
Incorrect! Stihl is currently privately held by the original founder’s descendants.
@dropndeal You are absolutely correct KPS bought B&S out of bankruptcy and has revamped the offering and partnered with Stilh to manufacture a line of Stihl branded mowers.
6 1/2 hours!Id be wore out and put up wet to pappy.😂You remind me of my Uncle Sydney R.I.P..I'm running that Zt 50 cub cadet it needs these replaced figured I stop in and get ahead of the game.Subbed up..❤
Thanks so much!
New subscriber. I am retired mechanic vehicle and jet aircraft. A tip if you don't mind on doing the oil change and after you have that tube then reach up and take the dipstick out as it lets atmospheric air push the oil faster out of the crankcase.
Thanks for the tip!
hey K .you need to take the cover off the motor and blow off and out the cooling vains to help keep the motor cool
Yeah I think you're right. That would be a good thing to do!
Always make sure to keep your pulley spindles greased well.
Thanks!
That is a heavy deck. Maybe plywood first and follow with creeper or dolly. Drop the deck and roll her out! I was lucky with my Gravely deck spindles. They knock apart easy and use 6203 2RS bearings - Ebay 10 for $15. Like your chain fall better than my cable come along, but I am cheap Ha Ha Ha. Added zerks and a clamping grease nozzle. Takes a bunch of pumps though. I left the plastic seals on and they grease up fine.
Good stuff! Gravely is a good brand from what I have heard.
I need one of those! But first! I need a beam. Thanks for da video! Mike in DFW
Yep. Cheap @$$
Mobil 1 Excellent choice
Synthetic baby!
i have buying for ten years now putting it to gather, battery are the big thing building diy battery floating by 10 am just on a few odds and panels so rest of the day is wasted so building more batterys used life04 up to 6000 watt hrs
Yeah batteries are the expensive part. Can really sink a lot of money into those if you want to. Thanks for watching and commenting! 👍
i get used batterys life 04 from battery hook up build them my self some times a little over 100. for 75 to a 100 ah
Looks good. Love gardenias.

🤣🙂 hasn't worked yet!
Dori??? I'm out here
It ain't ripe!
You should get solid front tires thats what i did no more flats
😄 Actually I bought some and I'm going to be putting them on tomorrow. This video you watched his about 7 months old and I'm going to be redoing everything tomorrow. Might be what the next video is about. 🙂 Thanks
Nice lunch setup!
Should have turned the water on and tested before back filling
I actually did. Just didn't show it. The video was getting long. A lot got left on the cutting room floor. My bad! Thanks for watching!
Looks good. I bet digging in the sand is a lot easier than digging in this dirt here in Garland. The rain at the end was nice too.
Yep! The sand is great!
I bid you good fortune on this cabin
Thanks!
Noice
Jelly time
I like the thunder too. Where were you when this was being filmed?
Out on our property looking out from the barn.
How happy with that product are you?
I was disappointed in the product. It's granulated like little pebbles with some kind of oil to hold it all together. Overtime it dries out and the pebbles wash. Thanks for watching
You missed a spot
Was this Janie? That guy looked like Andrew…I think.
Unknown dude ! 😄
I can't believe you didn't break sumpin on dat one
😁
Congratulations. Finding that old line was like striking gold!
Was this done today, Friday 4/5/24? We don’t have rain, that’s why I was wondering. There you go again showing off your building skills some more. Plus I saw the red bucket! Yay!!! I think you use your bucket more than the other siblings, but I can neither confirm nor deny this statement. 🤔 Your used toilet and it’s “royal flush” have me really impressed. Aren’t you glad that God rewarded you with the surprise sighting of the remaining water lines? To me, it is so amazing that God cares for you and your family enough that He supplied you with the means to have water. Thank you Lord for saving Keith the extra back pain tomorrow. Now could you please tell him to quit talking about his nipple!? 😂 Thank you Lord Jesus, we love you!!!
😶
hmmmm
I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the first flush
😁
You “murdered” a whole tree? 😢 If you wanted to cut down trees, I would have let you come play in my yard!!! 😂 just remember tho, our lovely sanitation department won’t let you place it out by the curb in chunks as big as yours. 😕☹️😫 it’s all good tho cuz I have a new box of the black trash bags! 😋
