Had this for over 12 months. Still don't know how to play it. Have learnt soo many heavier games. But Jon, i still don't get this game..

Can the player start his second income turn right after the first turn? I mean instead of any action or resources he would spend, he just start to resolve his civil power and play the tapestry card right away to gain a fast advantage resource in the early gameplay.
Yes, that is something you could do. Of course if you are able to get some production buildings out before your first income (which is common) then you'll produce more when you do income later.
Just bought this game- we have played a couple times but cannot really get above 200 points despite the rule book saying a good score is 300. Is this normal? Or do we just need to get better at the game?!
After several games I have yet to see anyone get over 300 points so I think that's a very good score. I've seen mid 200s a couple times and I think the score ceiling for each play is going to be quite different depending on the random draw of technology cards as well as how the different factions interact.
Too confusing. I would have preferred if you would have gone through the various iconography and thematically what the game is about.
Hi there. You speak really fast and in an even tone, sorry, very hard to follow if hard of hearing, and with your idea of using Klingon CC for commenting I was not able to get English CC. Left by the 3rd minute.
I'm sorry you had this issue. TH-cam does let you listen at 0.75 speed but it does sound slightly electronic. I truly wish youtube provided a way to let us add notes onto the screen but unfortunately the only option we have been given is to use a subtitle track which does remove the core usage of subtitles. I can tell you that errors are rare so you can watch with english subtitles and always get a very good idea of how the game plays. I have been working on slowing down my talking speed for years and it's something I continue to work on, it's unfortunate that this isn't enough for some people to really understand whats going on though.

How do I turn on those subtitles? Because I simply can't find how to do it.
@@lparigi34 Huh, you are correct in that there aren't english subtitles showing here. They are automatically created by youtube and I have this turned on for all my videos so I have no idea why that didn't happen in this one :-\
Now I see in other videos the English captions option says "auto-generated" but this is not available for me in this particular video.
