Not too bad, but is a lot of weight up front. So far no waves over the bow in some rough windy days. We recently did the same on a PA 14 and it is a lot better than the 12, will post a video soon.
Nice set up do you know they make a 36 inch shaft i pilot for kayaks if you cut that shaft it voids the warranty. Look at kayak usa youtube channel he has a great setup for deploying the trolling motor as well. You did a good job setting it up though.
We still have to rig some deploy/pick-up lines. Have been watching what other channels have done, trying to decide what will be best for us. He got the long shaft to also use on a flatboat, I think it is in the way but he will see as time goes by.
Good times! He’ll want to cut that to deck height once he gets into the first fish fight where they go from side to side off the bow. Nothing like trying to land a fish and it’s getting tangled in the shaft! Unless he stands to be over the head height.
So far He has only made a few half day trips, we are going to do a marathon trip soon and make another video on just what you asked. Thanks for watching.
Good video
Thanks for watching.
Great job on this video guys.
My son just bought a PA14 360 drive, got a video coming of rigging with a Minn Kota GPS troll motor coming soon. Thanks for the kind comment.
Powerwerx environmental boot for your anderson connectors makes this extremely weatherproof.
Thanks for the tip, I will try them out.
Is it bad bow heavy?

Awesome! I’m sure I’ll do that to my PA14 eventually.
Is there a breaker in-line or did I miss it in the video? Thanks
Definitely still need the skeg and rudder deployed. I thought I would not need it either but it’s steers a lot better with them deployed
One or the other is more efficient than both.
Man dat was awesome
Hi there, I was wondering where you bought all the equipment. Seems to me you gat a good price. thanks and keep it on…
My son shopped for all of it on the internet. Not sure how he got the discount on the battery.
Nice 👍👍👍

@@SRadigFishing yes that makes sense if he is going to use it on his flat boat too but thinking the same looks like it will get in the way.

What's the cats name (that was eating)?
He is a stray that adopted us, the kids named him Bruce!
@@SRadigFishing He kept smelling all that fish.
Kayaks, the rich man's tiny boat
You aren't kidding, isn't anything cheap about a Hobie Kayak!
@@SRadigFishing yep, they are convenient that's for sure but they do demand gadgets
