Honestly, hope Titus and his squad can have decent customization in the campaign. I definitely don’t expect MP level customization, but something would be nice. Particularly a Death Watch armor since they canonized Titus being Death Watch after SM1 (also fits the setting as they are Ordo Xenos Chamber Militant)
YES I’m hoping for online you can choose which chaos god your marine worships and that will ultimately give you different abilities and customisation options
Agreed, that would be a very welcome feature. Apothecary can’t have a primary, just a pistol and Chainsword but can revive, and same for Chaplain, can only have crozius and pistol but can give some sort of area buff like the Officer class on Battlefront 2.

This is from the people that made WWZ. Coop missions are probbaly go in line of that game. 3 or 4 short campaigns 3 missions each about 30-40 min to complete. It gets repetitive after a while, variety comes with difficulty levels and classes.
I hope they will have individual parts for chapter specific armor unlike the first one. While the preset space wolf, legion of the Damned and salamander armor were cool… its was a shame you couldn’t customize them. Also I would love to see some firstborn armors but I don’t think that’s likely. Game looks amazing however and i can’t wait to get it!
It should have a mode where you can play as a guardsmen alongside space marine players So like 6v6 space marines plus 10v10 guardsmen vs chaos guardsmen.

Why is nobody talking about the balance issues that perks are gonna bring in PvP?? Like imagine you grind out your tactical marine to level 25 and he's op as fuck, then you decide to switch up playstyle to something like Sniper, you won't have any perks and will be at a straight up disadvantage.

@@hobbywaffle nah I mean like chapter insignias, sort of like For Honour’s emblems. It’s something that people do with the physical models all the time, even I’ve tried (and failed) to dabble, so it’d be a damn shame if we didn’t get a feature of the sort.
It looks great, my expectations were a lot lower than this, so I am pleasantly surprised. I believe Ultramarine in Imperial Fists colours was just customization at work, you can probably just customize it however you want without reason. There was a promotional image with an Ultramarine with a fully red right pauldron, it's gonna be weird. Though that same image had a Space Wolf with proper markings, and a Dark Angel with robes, so they clearly have sets for different legions/chapters. We'll have to wait and see.
Yeah I had low expectations in terms of customisation so I was pleasantly surprised. No doubt they are still working on that side of things and there’ll be tons of options
I'm personally hoping they'll have options for the Iron Hands. Best case? A few neat cybernetic parts and more techy details. At the very least hopefully the Iron Hands color scheme.

@@brock1594yeah, could be…but they just need to balance it with cooldowns or some Warp meter and just basic Psyker powers like lightning bolts and telekinetic things. So probably have them restricted with either melee weapon/staff or sidearm in main-hand with Psyker powers in the off-hand
Gravis and Phobos are more like sidegrades, trading armor or mobility for stealth or durability. Terminator armor on the other hand, apart from being bulky, is a straight upgrade in terms of protection, autosenses, and weapon carrying potential. It makes more sense as a juggernaut style pickup than full on customization. Gravis armor in comparison is just slightly thicker power armor, it's not made of the same materials and doesn't have the same strength augmentation as tactical dreadnought armor.
I hope the co-op part can be played with bots, not keen on playing with randoms on the net. I like that they are incorporating the stories between single and co-op play. I love the level of customisation, especially being able to change chapters. Looking forward to it!
I would hope so, especially when you only have 1 friend or no one online to play, same for any disconnects that happen. Makes sense for a bot to fill in. Hope they take notes from For Honor, they do bots and AI decent in terms of single player friendliness
So far the perk tree looks similar to WWZ’s skill tree which is good I liked the skill trees in that game cause they could augment what equipment you use or your starting weapons so hopefully it works the same I just hope the perks are easier to get in this game than they are in WWZ cause your level and ability to purchase perks were drastically different levelling up made the perks available but you had to grind missions for money to unlock them and trying to max a class was a struggle

I ưould prefer something like a mix between Titanfall attrition mode and Space Marine 1 Dreadnought Assault. Where Imperial Guards and Renegade Guards NPC will act as minions for you to farm points or some minor damage support. At certain point you gets to call in NPC Leman Russ tank and at higher point, you can respawn as a Dreadnought/Hellbrute for your team. Whichever team gets the highest score first wins the match.
There’s not enough information at the moment, but I’d imagine there will be armour sets and things like that as skins to buy, all cosmetic, and as for the Season Pass, if you have that the first expansion will be free.
I'm still playing SM1 on PC, so long as I can color my Marine I'll be happy. Not restricted to chapter colors, but either a color wheel or like it was in SM1 with the paint refs and pattern options.
@@tonyrunner3 yeah the traitor legions don't have primaris, they're a recent addition to the setting and lore, you're onto something here if there is PvP where you can play as chaos, although it's going to look weird seeing chaos first born marines fighting primaris who are significantly taller than them

@@tonyrunner3 the legions are the meat of the HH books, the emperor, Custodes and Malcador are the bone, but the marrow is the Blackshields, when spacemarines have no allegiances so they make mini empires, doing secret tasks, or something unexplainable
I'm not a fan of PvP, but I played the original SM. They need more coop focus like Helldivers 2 did. That has no PvP and it's amazing. Hopefully these Operations mode gets lots of new missions to do and keep it growing.
The plan for co op will be a different experience everytime u play using ai directors or game masters to randomize every scenario an fight Iam hoping that in future they bring all factions on all planets now that would insure years of gameplay for. Co op

Hey Hobby Waffle, I would like to buy the Ultra edition for the pre-order of the game. Just wanted to know if you think the cosmetics are worth it? I don't care much for the pre-release time, but the FOMO is getting to me on these skins.
Well the only the difference between the Gold and Ultra is the Ultramarines Champions pack, which is an armour skin and a Heavy Bolter skin. The Macragge’s Chosen pack is an Ultramarine skin for the Bolt Rifle and Chainsword, plus a Crux Terminatus pauldron. I guess it depends on if you want the extra stuff, and if you like Ultramarines.
I bet we can, if you can customise your own marine I bet we could have a strike team of a Salamander, Raven Guard and White Scar. That would be amazing.

This game in my opinion uses a lot mechanics from WWZ the weapon customization, the perk, class options and if anything that game taught me it was a massive grind to upgrade the classes and weapons. The currency will be a pain in the ass to farm to upgrade everything....and the difficulties?! (Chaotic laughter) GOOD LUCK YOU IMPERIAL DOGS!
They just need to add in 12 v 12 and give it WH40k Eternal Crusade feels. They should make unlockable pieces for armor especially in pvp insanely hard to get the same way some of the items are insanely hard to get in the WH40K Universe. Example. Want an Iron Halo? Requirements : 2.5 K/D ratio, half must be melee kills, 120 day log in streak, top 3 in over 65% of their games, half the games must be played with the same chapter and over 120 assists.

Not sure on full skins, but you can swap pieces of armour on Titus as you unlock them during the campaign

What does available as paid DLC mean? Do we have to buy it separately or will it be in the season pass?
There’s not enough information at the moment, but I’d imagine there will be armour sets and things like that as skins to buy, all cosmetic, and as for the Season Pass, if you have that the first expansion will be free.
I'm still playing SM1 on PC, so long as I can color my Marine I'll be happy. Not restricted to chapter colors, but either a color wheel or like it was in SM1 with the paint refs and pattern options.

I hope developers will add bots. like in titanfall. Imperial guards for loyalists and cultists for chaos. It will feel more alive and epic that way.

Yeah but we’ve seen a Mk7 helmet in the recent Sternguard kit, so at least we might see some helmet variants
Chaos legions don’t have primaris marines do they? My knowledge of the lore is mostly in the 30k Horus heresy era
@@tonyrunner3 yeah the traitor legions don't have primaris, they're a recent addition to the setting and lore, you're onto something here if there is PvP where you can play as chaos, although it's going to look weird seeing chaos first born marines fighting primaris who are significantly taller than them

@@tonyrunner3 the legions are the meat of the HH books, the emperor, Custodes and Malcador are the bone, but the marrow is the Blackshields, when spacemarines have no allegiances so they make mini empires, doing secret tasks, or something unexplainable
6v6 is disappointing tbh, I'd like much bigger numbers. They better add Exterminatus survival mode too, that was awesome.

I'm not a fan of PvP, but I played the original SM. They need more coop focus like Helldivers 2 did. That has no PvP and it's amazing. Hopefully these Operations mode gets lots of new missions to do and keep it growing.
Agreed I hope the dev team do look at Helldivers 2 (which I love) when making Co-op DLC.
@hobbywaffle I'm currently loving HD2. I've got 2 vids up showing the HMG gameplay. That's my favorite stratagem and I never dive in without it.
Yeah, I'm not a fan of PVP either. I'm afraid they will put much more focus on pvp since those modes tend to have a larger and more vocal player base.
The plan for co op will be a different experience everytime u play using ai directors or game masters to randomize every scenario an fight Iam hoping that in future they bring all factions on all planets now that would insure years of gameplay for. Co op

Hey Hobby Waffle, I would like to buy the Ultra edition for the pre-order of the game. Just wanted to know if you think the cosmetics are worth it? I don't care much for the pre-release time, but the FOMO is getting to me on these skins.
Well the only the difference between the Gold and Ultra is the Ultramarines Champions pack, which is an armour skin and a Heavy Bolter skin.
The Macragge’s Chosen pack is an Ultramarine skin for the Bolt Rifle and Chainsword, plus a Crux Terminatus pauldron. I guess it depends on if you want the extra stuff, and if you like Ultramarines.
I hope we can chose different colors for Co-op, understandable if we cant, but i would like to play as a make believe raven guard or salamander.
I bet we can, if you can customise your own marine I bet we could have a strike team of a Salamander, Raven Guard and White Scar. That would be amazing.

Yeah but these aren't the spacemarines you know, these are primaris, and all the cool armour styles don't exist for these guys

This game in my opinion uses a lot mechanics from WWZ the weapon customization, the perk, class options and if anything that game taught me it was a massive grind to upgrade the classes and weapons. The currency will be a pain in the ass to farm to upgrade everything....and the difficulties?! (Chaotic laughter) GOOD LUCK YOU IMPERIAL DOGS!

They just need to add in 12 v 12 and give it WH40k Eternal Crusade feels.
They should make unlockable pieces for armor especially in pvp insanely hard to get the same way some of the items are insanely hard to get in the WH40K Universe.

I hope this game does well and is good at launch. The possibilities are endless! Terminator armor, Grey knights, heroes to use! So much they could do! This game has infinite potential!

Ive been super exited for this for my whole life it feels like, but im not gonna pre order or do anything like that as i've heard that you will have to make an external account to play and that its always online. Probably a few, although some are unlocked by playing the campaign and game.
It's ok, each chaos legion will be locked behind a season pass you have to spend $20 on before leveling to level 100 to get the skin.

sm 1 multiplayer never died on pc, there are a fair few still playing everyday
Oh man imagine if this game will have PVP war mode like Atrition in Titanfall where the NPC Imperial Guards and Renegade Guards will act as minions for you to farm point and minor damage support. At higher point you can call in support like Heavy weapon team, Artillery or even NPC Leman Russ tank. At high enough point, you will get to respawn as a Dreadnought/Hellbrute. Whichever teams gets the highest score first wins the game.
That would be amazing if they made a mode like that
