Warhammer fans, this is how us Halo fans felt when Reach first came out. The customization, full campaign, co-op, and PVP modes... It's like we're back in 2010. Can't wait for this game!

Halo Reach is still my number 1 game ever, Space Marine 2 gives me that same classic Xbox 360 nostalgia as the old halo games did back then and i couldnt be more hyped

Yeah but there's a 5% chance of it getting spilled everywhere and ruining your new carpet. That chance increases every mission.

I want to see what customization you get for playing through the campaign missions?
If only we were able to upload our own chapter emblems I could straight up make my whole chapter. I get why we can't (the TTD would be 0 for one) but from past experiences, no one has a simple circled dot emblem (think the Target logo, but different colors.)

As a Raven Guard player, I am deeply perturbed by the lack of Mk. VI helmets.
Yeah I want to use the Mark 7.
Second best Space Marine helmet out there, yeah, I think that does seem off.
Maybe issues with it clipping the armour? Only thing I can think of

I imagine there will be an arm option which breaks down the colour options to hand and arm.
At 3:03 where that second colour option is greyed out, I would assume that one of the other "patterns" of gauntlet will provide the ability to colour different sections individually

It's about damn time we're able to create our own Chapters in a videogame. Space Marine customisation has sooo much potential
You're able to do that in Dawn of War 1 and in the first space marine game
You could do so in the original game too.
Simple, user-friendly instructions, explanations, clear demonstration of mechanics, and a perfect statement of how easy the Fun Money is to aquire. No superfluous nonsense, minimal jesting until the end.

343 could learn a couple things about how to make a good customization system.
343 knew a good system from Bungie, they just choose not to implement it.

really hope theres way more options for symbols and most importantly, bits and bobs, i want salamander skins, wolf hides, a iron halo thats on fire etc.

More importantly the skin color... Salamanders are missing that charcoal look... I suppose the red eyes as well is a big thing. Not that I would likely have a helmet off for them or anything.
I'm hoping we eventually get hand color changes specifically so I can do Crimson Fists. It'll also be good for Storm Wardens.
At 2:44 when he goes in to change the arm colour, you can see there’s an option for “pattern”. I assume that will be for the hand colour, as it is in SM1

To me this system needs a massive overhaul so confusing and nothing seems to save and I don't know why. Really frustrating and disappointing.
As much as I love this game, the convoluted customization menus are a bit ridiculous they should’ve just put color sliders on each piece of the armor and the emblems and a section for presets instead of all these menus
i hope to god we get to sack off primaris armour and be normal space marines in this mode after a few unlocks. Otherwise traitor marines all the way

If I get this game it will be for this editor, just to use to toy around with my model paint schemes... All the free fan made options for such a visual editor out there are so limited and crappy. GW really needs to make a free one, or one to toss in the Warhammer+ sub. I just hope this one is as nice as it looks, as that's a pretty hefty price tag for a game I'll never actually play. Not jazzed about having to actually progress the campaign to unlock everything tho~

Anyone having an issue where your custom armors don't load into eternal war? I have custom armor for all classes but when I load into a new match it's set to the default skins but when I exit matchmaking after the match it's my custom armor in the lobby.

Something about it was so much angrier than the primaris helmets.

How do you unlock armor? I have only the original blue. Played 2 to 3 hrs so far. Am I missing something?
As much as I love this system, I was hoping for the chapters to be less like skins and more individual. If I want to play as a salamander I want the charcoal skin and red eyes. If my chaos marine is a night lord I should be pale with black eyes. I feel like it robs the chapters of their identity when it’s all the same guy just switching outfits.

Hopefully they'll add an option to color the visor of the helmets. Red helmet and red visor is not the greatest of combos

The customisation system looks great! Tho it's a bit sad that there is no pattern for recoloring the "face" part of the helmet. That looks great on the Mark X ones.
So here is question do helmet less look diffrent depending on chapter or its al the same? Cause id imagine a Space Wolf, a Salamander,Iron hands or White Scars would look very diffrent.
So are paints and emblems universal unlocks? Like if I unlock the bits for the Black Templar chapter, does that unlock it for all of them or do I need to unlock it for each class separately?
This game is already looking like microtransaction hell and the customization options are all wack. I'm just gonna pirate this game and enjoy my 60 dollars thank you.
