I have to make mini solar setup for my laptop
my laptop has 53wh battery i.e. 4500 mAh battery.
backup should be at least twice laptop charging.
I want my setup to get charged from both solar and AC.
as per my calculations
if I use 24Ah battery to charge my laptop twice that will be about 50% of my battery & 80w solar panel to charge it
I just need 65w laptop charger load please suggest me how can I make it.

Hi you added a charging circuit but what about the built-in charging circuit. If the solar output is too low can you connect the mains supply to charge the battery at the same time the solar is charging or will it blow up?

Thanks for sharing. Can I use a 12 volts 100 ampere hr battery from my solar setup. My old UPS uses 12volts 9 ampere hr.
You can use a 100ah battery, but that's too much for that tiny ups

If the solar panel is large enough, can this run continuously? Or will out heat up and die? (Most are not designed to run continuously) Is the fan required for continuous inverting?
Yes it can run continuesly, if you can cool it

I have a 20watt solar panel (poly crystalline) with me. It produces 19.5 volts and about 0.98 amps at noon . I have bought a buck converter to connect the solar panel to UPS. But the buck converter is not stepping up the current. It only step downs the voltage . And the panel provides very low current in the morning and the evening. The buck converter also gives out only that much current. So, if I connect the ups with the buck converter, can I get 360watts output as mentioned in the ups?
The panel won't do more than 20
watts but a battery would be able to supply a more constant supply. it would charge the battery when the inverter was off. but the only way to get that much power constantly would be a larger panel
Get a bigger Solar Panel
You could get a different buck. Some will convert extra voltage to amps. I use a TI buck which does this on my greenhouse video.

My ups has 2 risistors R19 and R20 i disconnected r19 but ups does not power on anymore. What shiuld i do?
Reconnect that and try again
Never seen a ups that small or that has a 12 volt battery I had a much bigger one that I was using with a cat battery but it quit working thanks to utube I now know why I found out that it's 24 volts and I was only hooking up to one battery so my big cat battery at 12 volt plus whatever was left in the other battery was all that it was getting so when the voltage got too low it quit once I can find the face for it I'll see if it works
In India this type of UPS are Very Common, and these are 12v Single Battery Operated
Pls check your UPS Voltage and Then connect Required Voltage battery

Stop using cc cv module for charging battery from solar, it will take hours to charge the battery to full capacity
