    Did my 2005 Saab 9.3 Aero convertible yesterday -lance is brilliant for sills and doors - took wheel liners off and used other product for wheel arches - so easy to use !

    Car is looking fantastic. Make sure the drain holes running down the sills are clear mine where blocked by a cavity wax after it was done. I poke a small bit of wire in the drains every few weeks to make sure they are clear.

    Top job, I’ve just bought a load to do my Defender, great idea using the masking tape. 👍

    Just used the same after watching this on ky black 159 ti, got a inspeftion camera into sills etc to check for rot, all solid, relief.
    The cavity wax ive injefted every year for past 6 years was sporadic, the BH S50 is ecen and has crept into the crevices where condensation build.
    Great vudeo, stunning work on that GTV, what a stunner.

    I love this video! I love Alfas particularly the 916, which were fortunately galvanised! I own a South African Alfasud and furlough has allowed someone with no mechanical talent whatsoever to find lots of bits of originality 😂😂I found this video brilliant and I may have a go at rust proofing it next year when the weather warms up a bit, as a result of you showing how it's done 😀

      Thank you for the positive comments Howard. I love the Alfasud! Fantastic cars. I’m glad you found this video useful and good luck with the work 👍🏼

    I did my old gtv v6 in dinitrol about 14 years ago, i no longer have that car as i sold it when we moved house, the car was on the road until June this year 2023 although there was mention of rust in a few places. Ive got a 2.0 t-spark and thinking of treating that but the thought of removing the side skirts again is putting me off i recall they were a bit of a bugger to get off.

    Aware this vid is 3 years old, but the reason it is initially runny is so it is thin enough to run into crevices, such as between panels that are spot welded together, where it will then cure.

    Amazing. So clean. How has it held up over the past few years?

  • @jamest5149

    You need the fluid to be of low viscosity and mist when sprayed at first to travel and creep into and around corners and crevices etc then thicken and cling over a short period afterwards then become relatively temperature stable at higher ambient temperatures.

    hi rick what would you recommend for the underside of the body? i have 2016 plate car but the previous owner lived in a high moisture area so some of he impact areas have surface corrosion - i wanted to brush them off and apply underseal, is there anything you would recommend?

  • @cagebomber
    @cagebomber 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Does this stuff smell after it has been applied? I'm thinking of putting it down in the interior panels of my camper van.

    Does this product kill any existing rust in the cavity or box sections? Reason I ask is that if it’s sprayed over existing rust, will it just carry on corroding inside?

    • @adrianrenshaw4439
      @adrianrenshaw4439 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes s50 will stop/capsulate any rust in there that you can’t get to

      @@adrianrenshaw4439 hello, thanks for sharing. Curious if I should only use the product or use it along with rust oleum for my F150…rust building up on both sides do to water leaks. Of course all the electrical wire-looms sit in the channels where i’m seeing rust.

      I don’t sorry, although I will be looking for one myself soon. I understand these are quite hard to come by just like a lot of parts for these cars! If you find a stockist please let me know 👍🏼

      This is a cavity wax meant for cavities the naked eye can't see, for stuff you can see you're supposed to use Dynax UC which leaves a clear protective coating.
