I'm working on having that confidence. I know I'm good at what I do but I don't want to be shy in a room full. I want to feel good even if I'm the youngest in the room. I know I work hard, I am willing to learn, and I am open to taking advice.
Yes...I totally agree that you need to have confidence when talking to director's, VP's, leaders, etc. I work in corporate America and everything you said is on point. It's something I am ACTIVELY working on.

I actually get a thrill off of leading projects and seeing it evolve from beginning to end. Im working on becoming a certified PM as well. Im in the Quality function for my company so manager stated this needed. I also use excel to track projects. At my previous company i just Google sheets. Now im looking at utilizing MS one note. Keep up the inspiring videos. Its very much appreciated ☺️

Hey! That is a great question. As of right now I use excel and gather most updates manually but the system I use has a report I can grab updates on each item. So long story short just excel for now as we don't have a software we use as an organization. Thanks for watching and let me know if you have any other questions.

One question working as an independent contractor how can I find a contract to give to my client if I decide to work as an independent contractor? I have contracts from my previous job but that was working as a virtual assistant and that job didn't go so well. Can I use the same contract or should I use something totally different. If you don't mind can you tell me what I should do to get the contract and if it is a good idea to work as an independent contractor in project management.

I'm considering an associate degree in project management, my biggest fear is that I am not very Type A, I'm creative, and becoming more and more assertive as time goes on. I am organized but organization is not my passion

Hey love! We don’t have any dedicated programs that we use. I wish we did sometimes… I will say thankfully they take interactions at my company between men and women really seriously that I’ve never had any experiences that made me lift an eyebrow. I have been pretty blessed from that perspective. When I deal with projects that involve people from outside our organization it’s always been with consultants and they’ve been the ones managing the project so that made it easy for me lol as they were making the big bucks to be in charge. ❤️ wish I could help more 😭❤️❤️❤️❤️ and thank you 🙏🏾
I buy the white chocolate from a lady who has access to the vendor Starbucks uses from eBay. I’m assuming she owns a store because it’s really not supposed to be available to everyone lol. If you search eBay you’ll see it. I use their light blend coffee and a make a shot of coffee with my Keurig. It’s four pumps of syrup and milk (I use coconut milk). Tastes exactly the same as Starbucks.
Do your team members update the status of their tasks for your reports? I have a hard time getting people to provide updates without me harassing them 😭
Thankfully no. The system the tasks were working on has a report I use to grab the status of the work they do so I can see it as they work. I have to harass them to do it though because it’s not their primary jobs.
@@KristynAlexis that’s convenient! I wish we had something like that but my organization barely tracks action items 😂🤦🏾♀️. I pretty much have forced people to use MS Planner so I can have some type of organization and visibility on what people should be working on.

Yeah, this is a tracker for the system I use but it only tracker approvals and not my deliverables if that makes sense.
