I passed the PMP about a year ago. It felt like a long scrum master test. 1 thing I can say that made it easy is I already had my scrum master certification and understood Agile pretty well. It felt like 90% of the exam was Agile.
Good to know. PMI is finally realizing that agile is not a fad. Congrats on the pass!
This was good, great, excellent information… loved the stress pause in the middle of the video. I am learning from you, thank you for your support.
Also can we get a video on project coordinator and project scheduler roles and how they can be beneficial in breaking into project manager roles? Thanks 🙏
Sure! I’m getting ready to film my next 8 episodes and I’ll be sure to cover that. Let me know if there is anything else that would be helpful. ☺️
Also a video on PMP application tips
Thank you🫡💪🏾💯
Great video! PMO (Project Management Office) could also be dysfunctional and not have the information that is mentioned in this video. Now, they should have it -- don't be surprise if they do not. Then - you need to investigate how the PMO is used and viewed in that particular company.
Yes, so true. I have seen some poorly run PMO’s in my day so you definitely have to gauge them.
Thanks for sharing these practical points.
You’re very welcome, and thank you for supporting my channel!

Great video, Veronica! This was right on time for me and your advice was spot on. I felt better I was not alone in feeling like an "imposter". LOL. And you are right...anything new that we do we can naturally feel awkward at first.

Can you do a video on how to build a project plan using smartsheet?
I’ll definitely put it on the list! Maybe we can get Smartsheet to sponsor it 😏
Can you talk about those book you have on the desk? and what are some you recomend
Are we talking pre-certification or post-certification?
“Car-ivoting” 😂❤
🤷🏽♀️😂❤️
Do you work as an independent consultant or employee? If you are doing it independently how are you doing it?
Consultant - there are several ways to do it, through agencies is one way. However, the best way is through networking and relationships. Once you build a solid reputation in your respective industry, companies will seek you out as opposed to you having to look for opportunities.
@@anuconsulting thank you so much for your response. I am a Navy Vet that has been doing PM for a while but new to the civilian sector. I am trying to go consultancy route but I am so lost. Could you give me some tips on here or potentially connect on linkedin?
