It's moments like this that help me remember how new she is to video games. 3 years isn't a lot of times to discover such a huge hobby and she is still pretty new to story heavy games. Seeing her get this emotional about any gamesis a really good time. I personaly prefered how invested and happy she was during her pokemon playthrought, but seeing her get emotionaly crushed by good stories is also a blast. She really love those games no matter how sad they make her and seeing someone so upfront about how they feel about games is refreshing.

On a serious note, majima was such a weird character. He was awesome in 0 then made into somewhat of a comedic punching bag in 1 then proceed to fall more and more into irrelevancy in the next installments.

Well, both kiwamis are remakes of original yakuza games, so there was a little they could have done with majima or nishiki really.

I think Majima wasn't supposed be that much of a character at all. Given that 0 was made after 5, Majima's story only shines after Kiryu's saga was about to end. After 0's success they tried to squeeze as much Majima as they can into the remake to appease fans. The weird thing for me is after all that effort to squeeze him in, they just completely forgot him in 6...

Well Yakuza 0 made 10 years after the original yakuza, and Yakuza 0 made to highlight majima story. It kinda the problem playing Y0 first since it make you have some expectation about some character. majima never meant to be massive character in Yakuza 1, he is important but not central. But his popularity soar so high so i guess they made majima everywhere as fanservice because they cant just change the story and make majima just randomly appear in the main story

After all that effort in y0 and then suddenly in y6 they just said "it's cuz he's in prison" is stupid when pretty much most of the characters has been let out of just broke out of prison in some way or form is stupid. But i guess they want to focus more on kiryu's ending on y6 so I xan understand that
