The sub for Miko at 14:40~ "Do you really like her!?"
Is a mistranslation. She actually 'Soko wa Nishiki Darou!?' which roughly translates to "That's where Nishiki comes in right!?" meaing it shouldn't have been Yumi taking the bullet, but Nishiki.
Next one 'Is that what you do to woman that you love?!' Is also a mistranslation,
Rough meaning of what she said is "This is where you show that you protect the woman that you love right?!" which is referring to Nishiki doing so.
Also what Nishiki says as he's pointing the gun is more like 'At least let me finish this myself.' The responsibility bit is reading too much into it. He's not looking to make things up to Kazuma, he's looking to finish things himself for once, where before it has always been Kazuma. Basically taking his fate into his own hands, which he has lamented about before. I suppose a less literally accurate but more fitting translation would be 'At least let me decide how things will end myself'.

If I'm not mistaken, I think the dialogue here is from the original English translation. So the way they translated it may be intentional, if inaccurate.

I dont think that interpretation is entirely wrong. It sort of conveys the same thing. Nishiki wants to end this in his own way and make this last decision his responsibility, not Kiryu's.

In the Miko credits part, we get tears and her reaction to the game stuff, and but in Pekora's we get to know a bit more about her as a person, and I appreciate both of those flavors.
If you know a bit about Miko's past, Miko was talking from the heart there too. Really her story is a tale of perseverence in the face of adversity. That's why she empathized so much with Nishiki. Because he broke under the pressure and became twisted as a person.
Miko could see herself there too, if she had been unable to endure.

The contrast between Miko and Pekora is astounding, Miko is emotional whereas Pekora is more analytical. Sure Pekora feels emotion like in Yakuza 0 ending but overall she's always trying to work out the story. Overall love the two reactions gotta be honest was heartbroken looking at Miko
Miko's heartfelt cry was one of the most genuine and emotional reactions to a game I've seen in a while, making her stream both incredibly entertaining and inmersive. A wonderful playthrough, I'm so glad she got invested in the characters. In the end, her reaction made me cry too. Sasuga Elite.

the line delivery was superb, honestly I think it is among the best in video game voice acting. His voice crack is what really sells the emotion

I can relate to Miko, when you just keep crying through the credits after a super sad ending. Happened to me with RDR2. It's really something when a game can line up so much stuff and get you to cry.

It wont let up throughout the series, even when she grows up with ongoing parts, she stays a greatly written character.
Haruka is great. And they made sure she grew up gradually, appropriate to the age of the series itself, instead of just suddenly aging her up.

Weakly written you mean, it’s easy to create a stonewall character. What development does Haruka have except face every tragedy with ‘eh, it’s ok’. She’s a plot device more than a character, two dimensional at best and merely used as foil to add to the overall emotion of the series from the real characters

The dual reaction format adds a lot to it, I think. Not something I've seen done often, and I really like it. At times, it really does feel like they're on the same wavelength, almost bouncing ideas off each other. Very cool and well done.

Seriously, if Kiryu just brought zip-ties or something to tie up bad guys after he defeats them, almost everyone would still be alive. The number of times the defeated villain comes back to kill someone Kiryu cares about is staggering, just because Kiryu knocks them down, then just turns and walks away. He never learns.
The final fight with Nishiki always make my heart ache, super happy Miko and Pekora are getting into this wonderful series, I too plan on playing the rest of the series once it hits the PC market late January and March

Terada's "death" and betrayal. They seem to think very highly of the guy (just like Kiryu), so seeing him "die" and then betray them is gonna be interesting to watch.
Terada is honestly not that bad. He actually genuinly respected Kazama. It's just that his loyalty was still with the Korean mafia.

digmatrix the problem she has in Yakuza 6 not only affects her but also everyone around her. Japan is a country which values reputation greatly. Many actors, idols, politicians got their their career ended because of scandal like that. Haruka always the type of person who willing to sacrifice herself for the sake of others (she even shield Kiryu from Jingu as you can see here). If she’s not running away, the problem might escalate even further and destroy the future of everyone else.
