About the group:
Kim Tae-hyung, known professionally as V, is a South Korean singer and a member of the band BTS. Since his debut with the band in 2013, V has performed three solo songs under their name-"Stigma" in 2016, "Singularity" in 2018, and "Inner Child" in 2020-all of which charted on South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart. Outside of his projects with BTS, V appeared in the 2016 television series Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth and contributed the single "It's Definitely You" to its soundtrack. He released his first independent song, the self-composed "Scenery", in 2019. In 2023, V made his official debut as a solo artist with the release of the singles "Love Me Again" and "Rainy Days". His debut solo album Layover was released on September 8, accompanied by a third single, "Slow Dancing".

Taehyung loves art. He shared his admiration for Van Gogh couple of years ago, has purchased art works from small independent artists and has a very unique style of drawing/painting himself.

Taehyung is painter artist and photographer too and he was in to art since he was young before RM, he has amazing paintings of famous artists his house.
This and Slow Dancing are my favourite songs from him!

I am always amazed at how you are able to think of a minute detail in another film or movie scene for an example or comparison when you analyze MV’s. I am also always impressed by the amount of detail you find and then explain that I never noticed even though I’ve watched the MV several times! By the way, it was indeed a baguette and it is only an artistic tool if you’re going for unconventional or quirky as V and the producer have in this and the other 4 MV’s they did for the album. I look forward to your next reaction as the quirkiness definitely continues! Have a phenomenal weeks end Cedric!
Hi Cedric, thanks for your perceptive insights as usual. Yes- it is a baguette. So V! V is an artist and a lover of art- there is footage of him joking that his name is Renoir and Vincent Van Gogh in Bon Voyage where BTS travel together. So pleased you are keeping busy and well. Borahae.
He paints sometimes and have this child like vision. I think you hit the nail with the theme of nostalgia which he mentioned himself

I love where your mind goes as you see things in the video, pick up on them and, in general, make the most amazing interpretations. You always give great perspectives on what's in the video and what MAY be conveyed in them. Most of their music videos have open interpretations of meaning for the fans, so you are never actually wrong anyway. I love that you had fun picking up on the baguette being used as a brush. Tae does have a sense of humor to it all... but with a bit of style to it too. Well, that's my explanation for the baguette. I will always support you doing more of your passion over doing youtube videos... but I will still miss you here while you are out THERE creating art. I will check out the trailer for Paul Q pinned and hope to see the movie when it comes out. Side note: There should be NO shame in adoring and sharing your love for BTS.
