- Gday Sim People !
Fellow sim enthusiast @g-locmedia recently posted a very hairy landing at Saba (TNCS) in a Cessna Caravan. Couldnt help myself but to try it as well in the C172 as looked a lot of fun, although a little challenging to say the least !

Lol. I enjoyed watching that. That last part is the most diffiicult bit as the wins shift around a lot. Looked like you used more of a side slip than me on the way in whick looked a bit more stable. I might try that. Theres a landing challenge app you can get which I think might allow us to share challenges. I'd be keen to try it out and see if we can make it work.
Aww man! So close. That crazy as I was just playing around there last night. I guess it’s time to suit up!
thanks buddy. Can you send me the discord link again? Use the email prior..........many thanks and look forward to flying with you soon.
Yikes that’s a tuff one to pull off on a 172 mate great attempt considering massive cross wind!
Yep. I knew it was going to be almost impossible, and to be honest still learning techniques here. Getting some good tips from others along the way.....
Think I should stick to building sims instead !!
@@CessSim It’s definitely a skill set flight simulation definitely allows for that constant practice. Can’t wait to finish my build to join the awesome challenges!
Definitely talented at Sim building mate you have an awesome sim build cheers!
@@kingsimaviation Looking forward to seeing your build and posting some videos. Keep me posted !
@@CessSim Absolutely will do you have been an inspiration on me building one mate!
Demonstrated cross wind in those things is 17 kt. Also saba is short short short field and you’ll potentially have mountain wave and wind shear due to the high winds. Not something I would want to face.
That's why I did it !!! Purely for the entertainment factor....give it a try !!
Hi. I am making a 172 sim and stumbled across your channel - so great - the glareshield solution is awesome and I will use that. I don't have any Cad software but would just like to know (I have 55 inch TV's) what is the distance from the the edge of the glareshield (nearest pilot) to the panel (i'm guessing around 5 or 6cm? and what is the distance from the edge of the glareshield to the front monitor? hopefully around 30cm? Really would appreciate your dimensions
Hi mate. Thanks for tuning in. Much appreciated. The back of the glareshield to the front monitor is very close (about 2cm). Not sure what you mean on the first one. Perhaps drop me an email (check the about) or tune into my weekly build streams (hope the time works) and can hopefully help you out.........
Hi thanks. Much appreciated. I'll check time difference. Where are you? The other measurements I would like are the depth of the glareshield (front to back) and how much it overhangs the main instrument panel

Props are overrated, I prefer mine bent too.. 😂
Hey man are you using the Logitech x2 lightspeed pros ? How do you like them?
HI mate. No these are the previous model being the G-Pro Gaming. Great equipment though and would recommend.
