I used to work at UPS as an unloader and package sorter. Now I'm studying to become an industrial engineer. This is the type of content I love to see. Great work!
I’m going for an I&E tech degree (instrumentation) and I been thinking about industrial engineering degree, in your video I couldn’t help but notice you were sitting down doing work, how common is this? I really dislike not moving a lot throughout my day
hey man i’m staring my freshman year of college this year in IE, how did you land the internship? I’m hoping to start interning during my sophomore year.
Industrial engineers deal more with preload or hub operations. They look more at operating plans whereas a BaSE engineer deals more with the equipment and technology. Two different worlds.
I’m also from houston trying to get into this profession. Do you recommend it over ME or CE? I’m not the best in math and I feel like I would excel in IE. I just want to make sure that I can get a job.
I am late to this lol. But i am also curious if you got any info? What are you doing now? Listen- ME, CE, or IE there are all great starting point for your professional careers. Each one gets you in the door to particular job titles, however you can dabble in the same industries it just depends on the title of course. Earning the degree will get you the entry level position making you entry level money. It will be up to you and your performance to determine how deep you will get into a career (Mid level and Senior roles). You show good/great skill in ME or whatever degree you end up earning, I have no doubt that there will be an employer who will not want to hire you or keep you employed. I hope this helps.
I have a ThinkPad T14 since it is the one my employee provides. It is great and have no issues with it at all. As far as me recommending one to you I do not know lol. It would depend on what you need a laptop for, but there are plenty of youtube reviews for laptops to buy I would try starting your research there. I hope you find what you are looking for!

Good day Sir, I just want to know if you are using calculus or any math related in your work?
Yes, math is used however the more time consuming math related work we use software to help us speed up the process/solution.
What is the difference between an induction engineer & A BaSE Engineering specialist?
Industrial engineers deal more with preload or hub operations. They look more at operating plans whereas a BaSE engineer deals more with the equipment and technology. Two different worlds.

Hello Rudy
Thanks for showing us what grad industrial engineer does. What was being assembled at the assembly line?
You are welcome! Being present and watching how everything works is always great because you learn that it takes a team effort to get the job done.

Depends on the employer. When applying read the company's policy to see if they do hire international or do sponsorships.
This was so helpful
