I'm registered and trained, the rules seem to change quite often in Europe. More info you can find here. The online course was pretty straight forward. www.easa.europa.eu/en/light/topics/drone-operators-pilots
Nice, thanks for sharing. I wish mine flew that well. I purchased the BNF version and using the NX8 transmitter. Safe mode, and AS3X modes are horrible, so I can only fly it in advanced mode, if I expect to get it back in 1 piece.
@@DonTimmons-kh4dz Curious why you say Safe and AS3X are horrible. Is this something to do with the NX8 binding? I just bought my second Carbon Cub S2 (parting out the first one on Ebay! I upgraded to the NX8 and will be binding the new Cub. 🛩⤵
@@coloradofotomatt I think it has nothing to do with the NX8. What I believe is the problem; is that my Carbon Cub S 2 came out of the box with twisted and bent tail feathers, therefore when I try to use Safe, and AS3X modes the system is too busy trying to save the model it won't acknowledge my inputs to fly the plane. The store I bought it from seems to care less, and the real vendor is assuming the role of the Wizard of Oz. Good luck man, I still fly mine. It's not the NX8, but it does make a great conversation piece at the flying field.
Do you now also have too register your plane, and do a exam, proving you can fly, without Giro
