- This is the fist flight after we have assembled the birdie. So some roughness in piloting was expected. Eventually we forgot to set up the aileron differential, but even without it the turning radius was incredibly small.

I guess I should have watched the last couple of minutes. I did not realize it had a motor until right at the end. Great looking glider / sail plane, and it flies very smoothly, which I’m sure you have something to do with. Well engineered and in the hands of a smooth operator.
Single blade prop. More efficient is what we were told back in the '80s. :)

Im in rc for 40 years but that tipe of ship is a litle espensive for me.but I wander why dont have the tail all ready atached to the boom.? Or some sections of the wing ?
The glider is quite big, and detachable sections make it much more compact when packed. We have a box 30x30x120 cm which is good for the disassembled glider. Assembling takes about 5 minutes without any rush.

How much does that weigh ready for flight? It appeared that it thermals pretty well. I did a search on the battery you used for it...Hobby King has them for...$8.01(?). That seems hard to believe for a 3S45C battery. I didn't see anything about it actually having graphene in it though, must just be a marketing thing. Very misleading.
Flight weight is approximately 1.4 kilo, can't recall exactly. The battery was not expensive, but again, purchased few years ago and don't remember the price.
Should be launched from mountain tops or sea cliffs with the great wind blowing.
I see props in the second clip. Not sure now. Is it still a glider or an RC plane?
So heavily edited, not sure what I'm looking at. Sometimes I see props then when it is landing no prop. But still a nice flight. Thanks.
It is still a glider, props are used just for launching.They are foldable, that's why you don't see them in-flight.

How do you launch it?
Take the fuselage under the wing, slightly behind CG. Push throttle to 30-40% so prop is spinning. Raise the hand with the glider over your head, so elevator could not hit your head on launch. Push the glider forward, preferably a bit nose-down. Add more throttle when holding transmitter with both hands - we use 100%, because the setup is optimised for this.
It is also easier to do when one of us is controlling and another is launching, we did so on several first launches.

Can't recall right now, approximately 1400g.
What is the airfoil type. As a student team we are trying to do a glider for project.😊😊
According to www.soaringusa.com/neutrino-f5j-4m-x-tail.html it is DI8120~820, 6.9~5.0%. But I'm not really knowledgeable in this area, so cannot say anything more.

How was the build?
Not very difficult, but we did it for the first time, and it took a week, spending about an hour in a day.
But, if you asking about the glider quality, it was
excellent!

Very nice, great glider. But - I would advise this young man to run, not walk,, to the nearest glider club and start training in full size gliders. Looking down from a glider cockpit beats the hell out of standing on the ground looking up (I'm doing both). Let's promote soaring oder Segelfliegen!

In my oppinion, the Neutrino is not worth the money. u can get much better made planes for that money

Планер отлично сделан , но этот Дреловский дизайн мягко говоря устарел низкими коэффициентами устойчивости и микшированной матрицей моментов . Без малого радиуса круга модель вообще не летит . Пора кардинально менять геометрию в этом классе
