Davao City, along with Cebu and Manila are in the top 5 with HiV AiDs cases in the Philippines for the past 5 to 10 years now.
A lot of the new cases belong to younger population who became sexually active due to influence of social media.

Afternoon aumaguin yes I agree that social media pressures youngster to practice or try sex but no safety or guidance is given...yes Davao has 16 births this year HIV I don't know about manila or crbu

@@garrykneale And the data doesn't include mothers and fathers who probably haven't tested for AiDs and HiV.

The best way to avoid Hiv/Aids is to keep it in your pants. Far too much promiscuity around for my liking.
I'm so fortunate to have met my soul mate and have been married to my Filipina wife for 28 years.
If you do catch Hiv, my understanding is that you can live a full life these days with the advancement of treatments and medications.
    Heavy subject Garry.
    Thanks for sharing.

Hi Davao Dave agree but it's not just sex it's also the infected people passing it in to there unborn children ...as mention 16 children born with HIV in first four month this year in Davao ...I was surprised at this figure as it relates only to Davao...I am looking at info for manika and cebu as the medical institutes say that's there's a 12*percent increase due to lack of knowledge across the country ..follow up vlog required

HIV/AIDS is in every Country. Some more then others. When drugs and or sex is freely allowed and you have Bar girls and sex workers you are more likely to meet a person with it. A lot of Countries do not have sex education so a lot have little to no understanding of it. Poor Countries it's worse only because then it is all about living. Take the chance and eat today or don't and starve to death. There is a song out from a group called City High called What Would You Do. The Country you are in you must have a College education to work at most jobs. Also in the Country you are in most jobs do not like to hire any female over the age of 35.
No one can judge them for doing what they have to do just to survive. But at the same token that is why more that travel there want a young Filipina that has not dated yet so the chances are less likely they have any STD's or HIV/AIDS. There was a Documentary on this topic a few years back about how so many 16 year old's were known to have already HIV/AIDS . Some even younger and some were born with it and still had no idea they had it.

Afternoon Daniel the points in your comment ring ery true .life is hard and girls and boys make do with life choices it is not easy and judging is not something we can do..or should do.....agree some do not know they are infected until stage three whish is aids and it's then a waiting game....I was surprised that 16 people have had babies here in Davao this year with HIV....life will be difficult for them...that you comment take care

@@garrykneale Here in the States I have heard many stories of a lot of girls had no idea they had HIV yet had babies and the Babies did not have HIV. Now I am not saying that is how it works but there have been cases.
Here is something to think about. There have been cases well known of people like the basketball player that had full blown Aids yet now he doesn't Odd how that happens.
HIV/AIDs has been out dating back to the 50's They claim they had no idea what it was and gave it no name for years till the late 70's But they knew what it was and they tried to keep it hush to make sure many people got it before the outbreak came to light.
HIV/AIDs was made in a lab to use as part of a plot in Germ warfare and Population control. Take out the The weak the sick and the gay people. Mostly to get rid of the poor that can't do anything to help out the Country.
They have been testing different Viruses on people for years. They even have been known to test them on Inmates in prison and offer them a lighter sentence and they have tested them on Patients that were sick or in Mental hospitals.
