Kumander Daot had some important things to get for his fish pond, and this gave me the opportunity to get a camera fixed on warranty and try to fix a few electronics I couldn't in Tagum the day before. We started on the beach in Cateel, and ended up at a mall and hotel in Davao City. Such a strange feeling staying overnight at a hotel again.

For me who lives in Metro Manila, stock in the epicenter of corona virus, living in uncertainty and anxiety. Your daily vlogs helps me to look forward in the future. The beautiful sceneries, the simple life of Davao Oriental gives me hope that this pandemic will be over. I hope people will lessen negative comments.
Having so many people you hired for cooking, filming, clearing your land is a big help ., to the community. Hands out is a big no no everybody has to earn to make a leaving. So please ignore those none sense comments about “help”. That’s a dangerous word.
Hiring locals for the land improvement is a big help to the community. May be you can also have a long term plan for Kumar and Jandee if possible.

His being honest and his videos are not that done with well crafted cinematography, but its rawness make a connection because it real .
Thats part of becoming Filipino Kulas, when your up there someone will try to pull you down, but dont mind them, you helping the locals, promoting local businesses, promoting the Philippines, spreading positivity and good vibes especially during quarantine its a big help for us already, the happiness, excitement, encouragement, fun and adventure we feel in your vlogs is priceless.

Dili malalis sa tv news, na some part sa Mindanao kahadlokan na soroyan , lalo na as a foreigner. Since na ming soroy ka sa mga remote places arround Mindanao, among nakita ang amazing scenic views and nice places through your vlogs. Like now your in Davao Oriental my birthplace. Im so happy to see sa mga lugar na never nako na adto-an, through your vlog, naka soroy us for free as well as sa drone footage it explained well the beautiful scenic views that oriental can offer. It’s because charity is not your main “line of business” as noble as it may sound. I believe those segments advocating those local coffee shops, buying local, hiring local and showcasing the “positives” of the places is in itself a great help to keep them earning and feed their families. Very good point of view kabayan. Sometimes the intangibles are more valuable than the tangibles. Kulas may not be intentional about it, but he is promoting Davao in a verrrry positive way. He might not even know it, but he can be considered as an ambassador of Cateel (if there's one!). Because of him, I want to retire in Cateel after living here in California!

You should never feel compelled to give just because you are fortunate and have been able to have a little extra. The problem with giving is that some come to depend on you, which sends you down a rabbit hole. The best kind of help is giving someone a job, or hiring them to do a few things for you that need to be done. I feel that's much better than just handing out money. Of course, this is just my opinion. You appear to be a really great young man, and you will do what you think is best. Kudos to you. One can tell when a young man comes from great parents.
Keep on doing what your're doing Kulas! I try to watch your vlogs as early in the day as possible to reinforce positivity in my life. Hecklers are everywhere with the sole purpose of sowing intrigue. Hey Kulas, I know I am quite late to this party as I discovered your VLOGs only last month. But, since then, I've been binge watching every night catching up on what I missed all these years -- also as an escape from the craziness going on around us. From watching each episode, I've learned to love and appreciate my country more -- quite ironic though as it came from a foreigner (who wants to become a Filipino). That said, I've decided to travel around the Philippines when this pandemic is over. Keep on doing your good work. Keep on spreading joy. Keep on spreading positivity. A smile and a simple hello are all that are needed to open new possibilities.

Chicken George may have left but this puppy came. Same with my jack russell. Got stolen and after weeks of searching to no avail a stray puppy came to our doorstep-same size as my lost dog. We asked our neighbors if somebody owns her but nobody claimed. She's been with us now for 2 years.
