I did the same exact thing in the same spot except its a 75" . I dont see how people can stand to view a 30" yuck, 40" uh uh, 50 " decent, 60" good, 75" Groovy ! I was happy to cover the big window just because I always felt insecure about how low and large the glass was to where a scoundrel could peek in of come a smashing though !
Guess you should have kept the couch? So in my last comment I think I said your in to woods with a beautiful rv, you’re going to love forever. And now a 60 inch tv. Not only are you going to live forever, your now living every mans dream! I’m quite jealous.
Not sure if needed, but may want to try to get rubber bumpers behind the 4 corners of the TV to prevent vibration and rattling when driving down bumpy road... Looks Great!!
Nomadic Fanatic Eric, the 4k are almost obsolete. We have been getting our sports broadcasts in 4 k for a year and now we are going to 8k. You Amercans are so slow these days. Haha. Enjoying your videos.
Dieselman40 Mate, I am Australian. We have an art form we share with Britts and New Zealanders. It’s called taking the piss. Don’t take it too seriously. Personally I don’t own even a 4k.
It's Spring time Eric, what better time to take you and Jax and all of us and head North to Alaska. I can't go but you're very good at sharing so good luck on all your adventures, Cheers.
You get as excited about large screen TV's as I do, so I totally get it. After years of way smaller TV's, I now have a 55" in my master bedroom ...and loving it! Enjoy! 👍
After watching the video twice I just came up with another great idea if you put a 360 camera on the side of the RV that the TV is on and hook it up to the big screen TV it'll be just like looking out the window but even better because you'll be able to see everything also the little TV upfront above the dash you can put a camera on the back of the vehicle and use it as a backup camera and if you have a TV in the back bedroom you can also hook that up to the cameras nowadays you can get the wireless cameras that will send a signal r-cast to signal right to the TVs so this would work for all three of them and even if the smaller TVs are older TVs they have a device that goes into the RCA plugs most of the wireless cameras sold the device is included I believe the hooks up to the TV I've seen this done on semi trucks and its really really neat it even allows you to see at night time when there's very dim lighting I wish you all the best and as always thanks for sharing with everyone watching
Bruh, I have a 50 inch 4k TV in my living room, in my HOUSE. You are definitely one of the few, if not the only person with a TV of that caliber in your RV.
Just recently found your channel and now going back and watching your old videos. You have such a cool and unique lifestyle, one I would honestly love to have. Thanks for sharing your life with us on TH-cam!
Instead of the plywood I would suggest cutting a piece of Reflectix for the window, then filling the voids with foam insulation, and stapling a plastic vapor barrier over the inside. Then I would cover that with the fabric.
Not sure if you know but LED light do not attract bugs as much as incondesent bulbs. Something about the UV spectrum and possibly heat which most incondesent bulbs have. Great that it is above the door reducing the amount of bugs potentially coming inside. Awesome TV set up!
I wanted to block our table side window for a 55 inch t.v. ( do I put a dot here ? ) why not . My ol' lady was all like " Never happen , the Dingo and Stew man ( We have a half dingo mix and a shih tzu ) Need to see outside . " LOL Well , I lost .... But I did at least just upgrade from 13 inch to 32 inch ! Only because I am re doing the entire motorhome at the moment . Looks great man and that light is next on my list to order ! Pet Jax for me !
Wow, that’s awesome! Using your other tv as a security monitor is a great idea...I always get great ideas from watching your channel. Hope you’re having a wonderful day. Hugs from Texas
Go Big or Go? My friend has a 75-inch TV he had it set up at about 4 feet off the ground,I walked in a studio apartment and I thought he had people over at his house haha
Hey Eric. Did you think about just putting the tv over the drivers bay? That way could still see from dinette AND recliner. Also, wouldn't block a window.
Ok, that a good idea mounting over the window. But, how did you connect the wood frame? You said you had fiberglass. I have a all fiberglass (Casita) and don't want to drill holes through my rig.
I rent a "business priority" unlimited wifi AT&T plan off ebay. It gives me network priority in "high volume" times and is TRULY unlimited about 500-700gb a month I use.
I replaced a number of outdoor lights with LED and have found that I don't have a bug problem. Bugs like UV and most LED lights don't produce UV so very few bugs and no ugly yellow lights needed. In TV's I'm with you the biggest one I can fit and afford is just a little too small LOL
if you stay during the winter in the pacific northwest, you will get mold growing on the rubber of the window frame behind that tv and on that fabric and wood and probably the wall as well. i run an de humidifer all the time, a big one all winter and i still get it growing on the rubber window tracks, and on walls that get condensation. its a constant battle and you need to be able to check areas of the rv. something to consider...if your in a dry area in winter not a problem im sure.
So happy for you Eric! You have worked hard and built an amazing channel and so you deserve to have some things that make you feel more like home! CONGRATS!!!! Awesome TV!!!
Ok, I hope you're happy Eric. Now I'll never look at my 42" 4k smart tv the same. Lol. Dang, awesome. I love that outside light too. Gonna diffinately get one of those in the near future.
I put a 32 inch TV next to my 65 inch Samsung and it looked so tiny LOL. the 65 inch uses a lot of watts though around 100 watts in real time. and the old LG 42LH3000 LCD uses 169 watts real time.
LOVE the light Eric!!! lights up real goo!!!! We have a 55inch t.v. in our livingroom that we're putting in our RV, when we go on the road!!! LOVES/HUGS!!!!
Ahhh...every man's fantasy... to have big screen TV ... Good birthday present from us ...Eric ... glad you like it ... Exactly what we were hoping you had ... to go over that dreadful window ... TV is so much better... We can tell you like it ... Happy Birthday !!!
Love the same amount of haters every video that dislike the video, so interesting that they don't stop. What it shows is that they are more dedicated to living your life than their own. In a way it is a twisted form of love. Funny but sad.
Love the light and love the TV but most of all love your attention to details and your appreciation for neat and tidy work! Neatness does count! Please come to my house.....I have projects and I don't want cords to show (lol). Give Jax a pet for me!
Oh Cool! I'm fixing my TV to the side wall now. You do have the details of the frame. Thanks so much. Mine will be a little different because I'm putting on the side wall after I reinforce it. I do like the windows in my little WYSIWYG. I've been dreaming of doing this too! You have inspired me so!
The TV has always been one of my biggest issues/concerns with going full time someday. 100k fifth wheels or even way more expensive class As and they all have tiny tvs. I guess the manufactures didn't take either full timers into account or that maybe people aren't going spend every second outside.
This is awesome, I'm looking at changing from a travel trailer to a class A and finding that it's not as easy to have that good viewing position but this has given me some great option ideas!
nice light im going to look into one of those, sweet tv too. i got a 42 inch in my rv bedroom....could not fit anything larger. i think i need a new 4k one like yours.
The only problem with porch lights that close to the door is when you open the screen door to come in and out the bugs get sucked in the coach with you.
Always love your videos, going to put my 30 inch in my big van but dont think I'll be doing it like yours, my brother said I could put mine on one of those swing outs, pretty light tv for being that big. I like the way you are doing yours better though, may build some kind of frame behind my drivers seat and build it to be able to hold the tv like how you are doing yours. Ahhh you have some great gameing system platforms, I just have the xbox but would love to have them all lol. Anyway, thanx for the tips and safe travels to you and cute little Jax :)
I would be concerned of driving at night, light goes off blinding other drivers. I have the small led with detection, always turn it off before hitting the road. Is there a way to turn off the detection mode?

Eric Man That tv rocks with the Recliner man I'm loving it and the Motion sensor camera light is way cool I'm going to get both of them for our 5th wheel thank you man
I was all excited i pulled my 19 inch and moved up to 32 inch , now i feel bad, maybe ill move the 32 to the bedroom and see if i can fit 65 .. oh wait i have to save up for sonne sol ar first see ya on the road
not yet. I still have the valve on the ends. I open them daily to let out air and keep them from collapsing. It's a pain, and I'm reminded everyday to start mapping out that project fix. :)
Hi just started following you going back and watching your videos from day 1 , wow you sure have evolved with your rigs, nice one. Wish you well stay safe... Bodilly
OMG that’s soooo awesome Eric. I think you where just trying to show me up and out do my 42 inch which I thought was too huge but I love it. I have wanted to install my TV at an angle because I don’t have a slide out. But now I see how yo did it there is hope. My question is how did you attach it to the wall? How and what were the screws. Did you attached the wood frame to the metal studs in the RV wall? Now I am inspired again!
You took the words right out of my mouth. I was thinking the same thing regarding using 32 inch tv as security cam monitor. That would work great for you.
Nice!! I am buying my first class A in the next month. I love your channel and gives me plenty of ideas of what I want done to mine. Going fulltime as well with my woman and our dog. Keep up the amazing work dude!
I was able to fit a 49" in the factory location . So all the hookups are behind the TV . I bought a True 4K DVD player with HDR and put in a cabinet beside the TV . Both remotes are Blue tooth , so the DVD player can be hidden away . I only have 6 4K disc , but they look great . If you buy a DVD player , make sure its not just a upscaling machine .
Wow that looks awesome glad to see you’re doing it..That light is really cool nice and bright I want to get one for my camper.. you came a long way Thanks for the video
How will you keep the tv from getting the crap jiggled out it going down the road?
I did the same exact thing in the same spot except its a 75" . I dont see how people can stand to view a 30" yuck, 40" uh uh, 50 " decent, 60" good, 75" Groovy ! I was happy to cover the big window just because I always felt insecure about how low and large the glass was to where a scoundrel could peek in of come a smashing though !
Place a camera on the outside of the dinette wall and send the signal to this new set and you will still have your dining window view ; )
Dean H Clever, Dean!
Great idea, hopefully he has an image of the window (surrounding wall) to align with the window to really create the illusion. ;-)
Lol that solves the prime window problem
Agreed👍
or he could add an image of the sun to get more light
I put I a projector. Now that was something special. I got it to 67 inches. I forgot I was in my rv. That a cool experience.
Now you can watch me on the big screen! Wohoo! CVK
Yup! Tuck Tuck looks HUGE on this TV!
Guess you should have kept the couch? So in my last comment I think I said your in to woods with a beautiful rv, you’re going to love forever. And now a 60 inch tv. Not only are you going to live forever, your now living every mans dream! I’m quite jealous.

Hehe. Go big or go home! Well, I'm home anyway, so yeah. :)
I like how the booth seating frames out your new TV. The new upgrades on your rig are.....Genius!
Glad you mentioned the power output. It's crazy how much better recent technology is than stuff from even a few years ago.
Finally an RV guy who is on my frequency 🙏

Damn!! Batchelor pad on wheels is coming along nicely!! Amazon will ALWAYS get you in trouble. Enjoy!!
Now, all you need is to mount an HD camera above the window you just covered with the TV, so you can get your view back!
Richard Owens LOL😂

I absolutely LOVE that weather! What a beautifully chill way to spend a day. Listening to the rain on the awning while enjoying some great coffee!
I'm currently searching for a way to get a screen larger than my 32" in my 5th wheel. There is just no place to put it.
Am I the only female who likes a huge tv to watch movies or even a really good tv show? I agree with a must have comfy recliner also. Good going Eric.
Oh it's fun to see you so happy! You'll really enjoy that giant screen.
Great for gaming! 👍
you should add something to the window like han solo on your fridge so it looks like someone is in the window :P

ross adamthwaite and fireplace DVD too!
Where is the sound bar and subwoofer?

Im happy for ya. Id have done an automatic pop up TV there and went 55 inch to keep the wimdow.. but hey. It looks great.
Nice television and only 4 amps. That is amazing.
Could you provide the model number or a link to that set. Thanks.
You need to upgrade your Netflix subscription for 4k... you loaded up HD content which is 1080p.
fantastic! would love to hear how you get and manage your 4k reception because I am an idiot and know very little about streaming in an RV
Glad to see you customizing your RV. The TV looks great! Can't wait to see what you do with your seating.
Ok, that a good idea mounting over the window.
But, how did you connect the wood frame? You said you had fiberglass.
I have a all fiberglass (Casita) and don't want to drill holes through my rig.
Eric, it went easy because you had a helper! Be sure to find some movies that Jax will enjoy! Have fun and be safe.
What do you use for internet to stream 4k? With my unlimited verizon hotspot I can barely stream 480p.

Two things I would have done differently;
1) Rather than all the window modifications, I would have mounted it to the table.
2) I would have placed silver reflector on the window to
keep the sun-heat down on the back of the screen.
That said, it looks awesome. A perfect mobile man-cave.
You are such a happy camper! I smiled all the way through this video, right along with you! Stay happy, Eric!
You should add some remote LED strip lights behind the new TV. Makes a ton of difference and would look great in there.
