My wife removed the mounting sticker and I was thinking about doing the knock test. Thanks again for doing this video! Your camper series is a great addition to your lineup.
Thank you so much for your video. I have that exact tv mount and similar tv, so it makes it easier for me to follow. I was a little apprehensive about the screws and wanting to know if they were sufficient. Btw, the directions call for pre drilling holes before screwing, is that advised? I don’t want loose screws…
Thanks!! Pre-drilling certainly will not hurt as long as you use the correct size pre-drill. But be sure to watch the depth of your pre-drill. It’s just as important as the length of the screws. But either way will work just fine.!
Had a nice TV set up already installed in my living room and put off mounting a TV in my bedroom. My GD reflection has a specific layout for a TV so it makes centering it pretty easy! Thanks for making this! I also didn't think about the probability of a screw going through the other end of the camper! Lol. Thanks!
I agree. Don't you don't need to worry about level, just position the swing arm against the wall and keep the same measurement on 2 points so the bracket is parallel to the top of wall (or use top of window if you have a slanting roof line). You could also just keep it parallel with the wall to the left. In the end when the RV is level, so will be the bracket.
Umm would measure the Back of TV, it has the mounting holes. I would consider BEST LOCATION, rather then THEIR idea of where things go.,. then use a Piece of paneling or 1/4 ply and GLUE to the spot I want. Also, check other side of wall...ALWAYS..

Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks!!
Great Video! Any thoughts on hanging a grab bar in the bathtub?
I recommend using a stud finder and silicone the screws as you install them. Good luck!

Thank you SO much❣️
You are so welcome!
Our camper came with a wall mount for the TV that does not change for convenience viewing. We want to change itoutwhat do you suggest?
My only concern is if you level the TV mount make it level... but the camper unlevel it's going to be crooked when you set up and level the camper 😳😳
The TV rotates on the mount to solve that very issue!!
@dansproshop well hot diggy dog .... that's slicker then shit 🤣🤣
Just purchased a new camper. It has the mounting sticker and it sounds hollow behind it….what can we do??!
The backer is probably metal, I've seen people use magnets to find it and find it's edges. @@LisaR2392

Ehy did you end up lowering it by an inch?
lol, sure did!
@@dansproshop was there a reason why? My stud finder isn't finding a proper edge of a panel, it seems to only find studs.
Whenever installing a TV in a boat or RV, never use a level since the assumption is that the unit is level. Good tutorial otherwise.
Doesn’t matter if you don’t flush screws up on the mount and you dont screw the mount on lvl
