I would give one eye to manage to find one (IN GOOD CONDITION AND WITH THE SHEATH) and send it here to Portugal. I mean, when i went back to my home town Petange in Luxembourg for vacations and did some abandoned houses exploration i managed to find a M1 Garand U.C. UOS bayonet, a Stahlblume (the ones that had serrated back but were grounded out in 1917 because "They inflicted unnecessarily sevrere wounds when used as fixed bayonet.", an U.S M1917 bayonet and an Ersatz bayonet carter 47 (1914 or '18 not sure). But finding a Luftwaffe stiefelemesser is proofing itsef to be one hell of a hunt. The one i find either broken tips, sheath missing, cracked handle or all the latter. When i see one in good shape, it was already sold or dont ship to Portugal. Anyways... Wonerfull blade! Great find.

I’ve seen some pictures of a knife tucked into the front of the tunic WW2 …perhaps a boot knife? A bayonet would seem to big, hmm
