Thanx for showing those! I would have finished the video if you'd gone into some of the history behind them or something; but they are beautiful pieces.
Nice video. I have an Infanterie in used condition, but honest example. Wondering how common these actually were. They were issued pieces right? not private purchase
Thanks mate@@EdgedMilitaria I absolutely love the Luftwaffe ones and keen to add them to my collection. Does it happen to know where can one safely purchase these from ? What about a modern replica as a fully usable / functional item not just for display ? Thanks.
@@mariusvranceanvirixDerTod It is awesome you are showing interest in collecting these knives. I'm selling the one marked "5" right here: www.2dehands.be/seller/view/m2072415178 cheers!

they are traditional and very practical designs
pristine examples, congratulations!
Last one ❤❤ perfect
I love this type of sheath, why is it not around anymore? Slim, cool sound, rugged. Also the blades are great for food prep
Awesome collection 😊 I wonder what type of knife steel they would be comparable to today.
How Fairbaine and Sykes invented their dagger...oh look.
German knifes had been intended, to be usefull also as Tool.

Who is the W maker on the LW Kampfmesser? Is it Weyersberg?
Hermosos todos , que tipo de
acero seran? 1075?
Muy lindos y practicos ,me recuerdan al cuchillo criollo argentino, tipo " verijero" el que se porta en la ingle. Siempre a mano para tareas varias.
There is a Type of german hunting knives, looking rather similar to smallest type of Gaucho knives.
Any of these by any chance chrome plated? The blades seems to be shiny new without any blackening of the carbon steel parts…
No they are all just plain steel but in very good condition. They did make nickel plated blades but mostly on ww1 combat knives.
Obviously You have none of your family died in that horrific event and can not appreciate the sacrifice of those who did.
❤
Since they came with metal scabbard , i bet they are dull since WW2.
Its' called "tang". Your steel "center".
what's the exact name / model of the Luftwaffe version ? Thanks
Its called a Luftwaffe Kampfmesser.
