I’ve got a panzer collar tap badge, dug in Volgograd, and it almost looks comical. Not anything like the visor badge.

I was sold one of these as original, now that I look it seems to be a replica. Doesnt look the same, it has some thick and quite hard grey fabric on the back so I cant even bend it really(the side that touches thr uniform) with some little traces of yellow paint behind it keeping it attached with the white-black and the panzer part. The panzer IV isnt as sharp as the one in this video or when I google "original german tank destruction badge" it doesnt look exacly the same. Can I even be sure if that M43 cap that he sold me is original anymore? He has some nerve scamming little collector like that or hes stupid and really tought everything he sold there was original. He goes around Finland selling militaria I was told. I think thats legit and some of the stuff that was there was genuine but I dont think this one is...(I was 12-13 when I bought them). He also told that the panzerfaust 60(that he didnt even know the name of like I did) was one of two originals in Finland.....I've seen atleast four originals in Finland with my own eyes in real life and way more from videos etc.

I find it sad that this is categorized as a nazi collectable by channel name, because most soldiers that will have earned this, will not have earned it because they were in the NSDAP (really, most will not have been), but because they had to. This clasp doesn't spell ideology, it spells tragedy.

Back in the 1980s I read a book (title author etc forgotten) about collecting Nazi items. It said that within a few months of the end of the war two factories, one in Italy and one in Britain, started churning out copies of Nazi medals, insignias, badges, etc., to meet the demand by American GIs for souvenirs. It went on to say that these copies were quite good right down to the proof marks. That means that a lot of the stuff brought home by GIs was fake. My automatic assumption is that most of what you see as genuine Nazi items are fake, either old or new.

Very nice helmet. I just checked the helmet database, and the ET M40 helmets batch numbers 704 - 725 are all single decal SS helmets. Looks like that's a nice dark pea green paint, very cool. I myself have a late ET M42 stamped ckl, single decal SS in apple green.

What if they are unmarked?

I have one without the box. Found in my deceased Father-in-Laws items. Seems to be in very good condition with Assmann’s makers mark. He was stationed in Germany before the Berlin wall was closed. They actually closed the wall a week or so after he went to visit east Berlin. He must of picked it up during his time there.

i have a M1/127 Alfred Stübbe, Inh. Herbert Tegge, Berlin-Waidmannslust. still dont know where or how my grandfather got it. i really would like to know who or how they got one of these. i guess the guy my grandfather killed didnt need it anymore so

There was, and might still be, a bloke on eBay selling "Rhodesian Navy" caps, I told fake bay that Rhodesia never had a navy owing to the fact that it was land-locked, but they did not want to know, and the man continued selling his "Rhodesian Navy" caps.

A really cool display, sir. This must have taken many hours of dedicated work. It would have been terrific if you had mentioned something about the backing material that you have each badge mounted on, and how those pads(?) are then affixed to the backboard.

One of the mostly respected Awards among front soldiers. Way more respected than the Knights Cross of the Iron Cross.

It is my favorite machete of the III Reich. It is more imposing, beautiful and heavier than those of the SS or SA. It is the best dagger of that period.

The only thing that was not uniform were the uniforms they all had the same cut but different colors especially for the Army there's a picture out there of a bunch of original uniforms and you can see at the beginning they were different shades of green in the middle they were different shades of Gray and by the end of the war they were different shades of brown
