The funny thing is these films weren’t loved anywhere near as much on release as they are now. They are heavily flawed and full of lazy writing. So many of the plot points are just plain dumb. But I think ever since Garfield returned in No Way Home (which he was great in), people all of a sudden think these movies are good. I don’t think these movies suck, but they’re not as good as people are all of a sudden making them out to be.
@@JustHonest444specifically the no kill rule I mean cause I know we not just gonna sit here and pretend that a truck speeding through the streets is his fault
He has demonstrated within the same movie that he is strong enough to stop and even catch moving vehicles pretty easily, so why didn’t he do that instead of telling jokes?
Yeah, I don't disagree. It's not even Andrew, though. As many people pointed out, it's bad writing, and plot development. Also, TASM 2 is known to be the worst Spider-Man movie lol, so I don't get these comments. The first film is better for sure, but not the best superhero movie. One thing is you can definitely tell Andrew gave it is all in these films, which shows. And that's something we should all appreciate!
Don't know why everyone is blindly disagreeing with you, especially since they never explain why. I, for one, do agree with you on everything here. I can kind of enjoy Spider-Man refusing to give Harry his blood because the line delivery of "You're a fraud, Spider-Man!" is unironically hilarious, but god I really despise the second one. The first film is actually alright, but I just can't with the second one. It's full of awful things, which sucks because the actors are really good here, and I'm glad that Jamie Foxx got a chance to redeem himself in NWH.
The "no-kill" rule is for things in his control, a huge truck barreling through the streets isnt much in his control. Honestly this point contradicts itself, because in the very same movie he saves a ton of people from electrocution, If he really didnt care he's have let them die. also one more thing! how do you know those people died? I mean its a movie so they prob survived with minor injuries. Thank you for coming to my ted talk, P.S. i like your accent
Thank you aha! i agree its kinda of a nitpick, however later in the movie he catches a flying police car pretty easily when fighting electro and also stops a bus from hitting civilians, so i feel like we can both agree he 100% has the strength and is capable of stopping the truck from barrelling through those cars, but instead decides to tell jokes. Also that guy in the yellow taxi that goes flying over andrew and electro 100% died.
bro just woke up and said "how can I be different today" the reason for why to grew so much traction today is because the kids that loved the movies cause it was their childhood hero suddenly being heard now that we are grown ups like adult or teens. u just trying to trash talk about the movie like uncle ben's death "like why u grabbing the gun" if someone have in his hands a knife or something u would want to hold that same hand so he wont stab u that easily
@WorstMovieReview yesss i can say the same thing about the whole snyder verse, it has good visuals. But it couldn't provide any value to the plot and story.. that's why I'm looking forward to James gun's take
@@NickB-l2z it's not about marvel or DC, it's about the bad treatment given to the characters, and if you see superman of Snyder and amazing spiderman from sony.. they are literally the same kind of visually stunning and weak from the story pov
@JustHonest444 yeah no, he almost killed Kingpin. That's as close he's gotten, as far as letting death happen. Can you point me in the direction of a comic book that has him both cheat on MJ and waters down Venom and Sandman?
At the end of the day, i enjoyed watching this movie, even with its flaws. Especially with the way that new superhero movies have been trending these days, ill take it. It seems like more and more people are hopping on the bandwagon of hate for superhero and marvel movies in general, and a lot of that is deserved as of recently, but hate videos are all i see on yt these days and it makes me wish we could appreciate good media instead of dragging up new/old reasons to hate stuff. I dunno tho, i guess the hate videos get more views or something?
i think the reason that you are getting criticism is because you just say these movies suck. you might not like the movie and that’s ok, but telling someone else to not like what they really like can cause this to happen. personally, i like these movies and wish that there was a third one, but i don’t have to make YOU like the movie too you feel me?
I gave pretty good reasons for the movies being bad, its not like i just made a claim and didnt proceed to back it up. A spider-man film where spider-man DOESNT save people is NOT a good spider-man film.

@ because there was highly explosive material in the back of the truck and it wasn’t as simple as just stoping it

The best part of this movie is Andrew And Emma

Dude the problem is that he would rather make unfunny jokes than actually try to save people in that situation.

This would be valid if the guy was intending to shoot uncle ben, but he wasnt, therefore there is absolutely no reason for ben to grab the gun.
A good movie ( because i loved everything about andrew) but the worst comic book adaption i would say
thats fair, i like the films as just action films. i actually think tasm 2 handles the action the best out of all spiderman films
