Spurs has always been chelsea’s biggest game even before they started cheating in 1995 when chelsea had won 4 trophies in its 90 year history. 30 of those years weren’t even in the top division. Their average top flight league position from the other 60 years was 13th.

@@caitlinbrennan9039 Ken Bates had owned the club for 13 years at that point and could see the club was going nowhere, so he loaned untold sums from banks that he had no means of ever repaying and spent it all on transfer fees and also wages to a degree never seen before in the game and certainly not at such a totally unknown pea sized club that it inevitably bankrupted them. That’s when they were bought out in 2003 by an individual who took the cheating to a whole new level. And what we have seen in the last 12 months there simply is no word in the English language that comes close to describing the level of cheating we have all witnessed.

How can someone say the Birmingham derby is a big derby? They rarely play eachother and not many fans outside of Birmingham support either team
Doesn't really matter league position its about passion and the quality of the game and arsenal v spuds always has passion tension touches of quality drama no matter how good they are, nearly every other supporter watches it or at very least keeps an eye on the score. I couldn't care less about Manchester or Liverpool Derby and may check what's happened Monday morning whilst having me cup of coffee n cigarette before heading of to work. Must admit Celtic Rangers is a monster to but for the very same reason

I've always felt this was the reason spurs didn't win the league the year Leicester won it. Spurs had 3 teams calling themselves our rivals and everyone tried to go hard against us, and meanwhile Leicester were just everyone's darlings and teams played into their hands and practically didn't turn up half the time. Spurs' title challenge ended against Chelsea too, a team that literally calls them rivals. The league is kind of harder for teams who have more derbies and more heated fixtures.
