- Nintendo Land is one of my favorite games on the Wii U, and I've always dreamed of it getting a full sequel on the Switch. So I decided to throw all of my ideas into this concept video! My version of Nintendo Land 2 is probably a little too good to be true, but there's no restrictions in the world of imagination.

Nintendo Land might be my favorite pack-in title that I grew up with, and I’d absolutely love a sequel. It’s something I still play a lot with my sisters when I see them, and I love getting to introduce it to friends of mine who missed out on the Wii U. Lovely video, and I really hope there’s a new one in the not too distant future!

It’s a great way to show off the Gamepad!
There are only two thing that I miss about the Wii U and that is Nintendo Land and Wii Party U
Nintendo land is by far the most underrated game made by Nintendo in the entirety of its existence. I have been playing it constantly for what feels like my entire life and wish more people were enlightened to its wonder.
Chibi Robo: *Weeps*
(Not Zip lash though, that one blows;)
Nintendo Land means so much to me. The nostalgia for it is immense. That theme song brings me home man... My first game on the Wii U and one of my favourite games on that incredible console, Nintendo Land provided me with a great escape like no other game could - what a beautiful pack-in title full of life and wonder; such artistic briliance from the art design, to the unfathomably fun minigames, to that incredible soundtrack with all the pieces of music and satisfying noises. Since I first played this game back in Christmas 2014 the game really holds a special place in my heart. The game reminds me of Christmas in that regard - there is such a cosy, heartwarming, nostalgic and whimsical innocence to it. There was an uplifting, joyous element to the world - nothing but sheer happiness irradiating from it.
And there's not a place that irradiated that happiness more than the Nintendo Land Plaza, which felt like a celebration of Nintendo we had never seen before: I remember seeing all the Miis in the Nintendo Land Plaza and they'd all be real players with a Miiverse post sitting above them (yes, this game did it years before Splatoon!), and for me as an 11 year old that was just so so so awesome! Now that was a real heartwarmer, being part of that Miiverse that had such a big part in my life playing the Wii, 3DS and Wii U - the Mii Plazas always had such life and soul to them and the Nintendo Land Plaza really brought that to a peak. You felt like you were part of a community. The Switch will never be what the Wii U meant to be because the Wii U had such life and soul to it - the Miiverse was just something else and created such a unity, like you were part of something bigger and more joyous.
Playing this game with my family as a child hold some of the fondest memories of my life; I would play it all the time and it would never be more fun when I'd play it with my siblings and parents. It was a wonderful part of my childhood and I'm utmost grateful Nintendo made this heartwarming, cosy and oh-so fun masterpiece. It has aged like fine wine. To this day it is still outstandingly fun and really stands as one of Nintendo's best games of all time.
Thank you for everything, Wii U
As being still a kid, I have a wii u but don't remember about getting it, neither getting the games, but the wii u seems like it was the ps5 of then.

Damn that is long
A Nintendo Land 2 would be just as great as the 1st one.
Too bad Nintendo is corporate now!
@@chillbizz74what does that mean?
@@chillbizz74it’s always been lmao
@@InklingBOIIIIIImost likely not gonna happen
Would it really? You saw how bad Nintendo switch sports waa
GUYS. Share this everywhere, do anything you can, Nintendo NEEDS to see this
Mad respect for remembering and including Xenoblade!
NintendoLand has been a game responsible for some of my biggest laughs with my friends, so a sequel would indeed be amazing!
Me at 2:56 when my family finally decides to play with me
I love your "what if"-videos, you're so creative and get your ideas across really well! The editing of the video is wonderful too. I never played Nintendoland, but seeing this makes me wish a second game existed!
4:58 (after watching) those logos are BEAUTIFUL dude
7:10 this just makes me want a full co-op Uprising, that sounds like a dream
14:15 okay so very in the spirit of new horizons which is also on the Switch, nice
man I'd love to see fire emblem have a spot in a minigame catalog like this or even though it's not super relevant anymore, they could do tons with nintendogs. all in all, great ideas, and another Nintendo Hero masterpiece
Thanks! There are so many great Nintendo franchises that could get some time in the sun with a game like this, and it could introduce them to a whole new audience. The main reason I was initially interested in Metroid, Pikmin, and F-Zero is because of Nintendo Land. Fire Emblem was in my original list of ideas alongside others like Pokemon, but I couldn't come up with any solid ideas since I'm pretty unfamiliar with FE
@@NintendoHero YOOO exact same for Pikmin! I only tried it out after having a blast with friends in the original mini-game. I guess games like Nintendoland and Smash work even better as advertisements lol
@@NintendoHero Hey, Hero! I thought of a new sort of spin on the whole Mario's Super Chase thing if you're interested.
I call it Mario's Globe Trot, a sort of Mario Odyssey-inspired version of the game. Instead of power-ups, the Mario player can capture elements of the stage in order to get a bit of a boost, but the team, consisting of Koopa Freerunners, cannot. However, the Koopas can use a Shell Dash for a little speed boost, and can use this to break open blocks that Mario can't, revealing new paths and shortcuts for the Koopas to take. Stages would largely be based around the different kingdoms from Odyssey - a Metro stage with sky-faring buildings and zippy-zappy Spark Pylons, a Lake stage with water that might slow the Koopas down but be a cinch for Mario to traverse if he were to capture a Cheep Cheep, and maybe a Cascade stage with a T-Rex that can stun anyone it hits.
Just when I thought I couldn't be more sold after Cloud Battle, you hit me with Xenoblade Tower Defence. I'm so in lol.
Nintendo Land's still one of my go-to couch co-op games, so seeing it come back in the spectacular way you described would be a dream come true. Probably my favourite concept video you've done.
9:57 chills
WIN VIDEO. I adored this game growing up
Now this, this is a video I've been wanting from you for a long time! Thank you so much man! 🙌🤩
As a big Nintnedo Land enjoyer, I love all your ideas! And in general, I'm so so happy there are people still enjoying and talking about Nintendo Land to this day!
Nintendo Land was literally my childhood- of course along with a lot of the other Wii/WiiU games but Nintendo Land? Screaming at my brothers in Mario chase and getting screamed at in Zelda- hide and seek in Samus, terrifying rounds of Luigi’s mansion, getting our heads bigger then bowling balls in the animal crossing candy game, all the other fun games… the MUSIC! The collectables, gosh the times were so much fun 😂 of course it wasn’t all screaming, and I would KILL to get a Nintendo Land 2 on the switch, it was such an incredible game and I think it’d do really well if it were to come out, the game brings so much nostalgia, it literally created better bonds between my brothers and I… unfortunately our mom sold our WiiU but I suppose we stopped using it as we were growing up… but it still is heartbreaking…
Pikmin Underwater Expedition should have a snorkeling bulborb in one of the levels. Can't leave them out.
This sounds amazing but the splatoon/arms attractions are too similar to the original games. Apart from that, this is amazing!
Bro I would cry every day untill this release
This guy needs to be a dev
Nintendo land is one of my favorite wii u games and I always hoped it would get dlc or modding support or SOMETHING. i'd love to see a sequel on switch
A Nintendo Land 2 on the Switch successor is more likely at this point and they could call it "Nintendo World", "Nintendo Theme Park", or have the name of the Switch's successor with "Land" right after it.
YES!!! no finger pointing robot that follows you around though. Man those multiplayer games were the best and that Donkey Kong maze game was beyond awesome!
I loved nintendo land so much it was a huge part of my childhood and I have so many fond memories of playing it with friends throughout the years. I think a mini game based off wii sports would be pretty cool too
This set of games couldn't be more perfect
Oh man this is a great concept, I would be crazy if Nintendo released something like this
Although we may not get it ported to the Switch, hopefully Nintendo Land will release a sequel version to the next console Nintendo releases
Damn i just want a new Kid Icarus so badly. Uprising was my favourite game on the DS. I replayed the levels over and over to perfect scores and collect equipement
If you see this,
We hope this happens
Please Please nintendo
Wow, just wow. You're ideas for a new nintendo land sound so fun to play!
The splatoon, Zelda and starfox seem like I would enjoy the most
All your ideas are awesome and the titles look great
The creativity is this video is great. Awesome video!
I absolutely would love to see another Nintendo Land! Your video definitely tickled my nostalgia. However, the unfortunate fact is, that I doubt Nintendo would ever really dig the IP out once more. I also have a slight issue with your Splatoon and Arms Ideas, because if you're playing a simplified version of those games... Well, there isn't much of a reason to play Nintendo Land 2's attractions if you also own Splatoon or Arms.
Out of all the Wii U games that need a sequel Nintendo Land is definitely one that needs it
This ideas are so awesome! The logos look very cool too. I can only dream of a Pokémon one too if only they liked doing crossovers
YOOOOO NEW VIDEO! THIS IS GONNA BE A BANGER
I’m glad you made this up. I always felt like this deserve the sequel or at least a port to the switch for the next Consol. I love this to be there like fun game on there since every Nintendo Consol has that for the first lineup of games thanks for the video and everyone have an amazing year and God bless you all.
i love your videos so much! keep up the good content :)
I play this with my cousins whenever they’re over, and it’s so much fun to either beat them as toad, or beat their asses as Mario. So satisfying, and there’s even 3/4 levels to play
i would love a nintendo land 2! i love your added single player modes for multiplayer games, because i was an only child and i could only force my friends to play the animal crossing one so many times. my favorite from your new minigame list is the kirby one; i LOVE overcooked and restaurant sims in general.
I loved the video Keep up the good work
I think it would be a good idea to bring in the classic attractions, so that way, anybody who hasn’t played the original Nintendo land can feel what it’s like back then
Loved playing Mario chase with my friends
If this game became a thing I feel this would be a good opportunity to use this to promote Nintendo world
My idea for a mini-game: Yoshi's Fruit Adventure. Go around gobbling fruit as different Yoshis until one comes out on top with the most fruit. Enemies will roam the stage, which you can gobble up and throw at opponents as eggs to make them lose some fruit. Power-ups like the Eggdozer and Poochy would be available.
Aaargh, this is so cruel!!! So many good ideas I wish were real, haha!! Excellent vid. I want a Nintendoland 2 for the next console as well, so I’m really glad you mentioned that here!!
…I just realized nintendoland has more minigames then Wii sports on switch. :(
Edit: also the new logos you made are really great. I LOVE the splatoon one, you nailed it.
THANK YOU for adding my 2 favorite Wii Games!! (Punch-Out & Rhythm Heaven)
I still play nintendo land to this day its so good
To me, Nintendo Land will always be that pack-in game that I didn't play until about 8 years after it came out haha, but boy was I missing out. I'd love a sequel.
WE NEED THIS
Awww I've been thinking of it for years. I had an idea to hook up your phone as a gamepad replacement and a couple ideas. It was pretty funny drawing out a botw zelda idea that had bobble heads out of the divine beasts then age of calamity did just that.
Can't wait to see what you come up with!
I feel like this is gonna blow up soon, oh also great video!
I never got to play the original so I hope Nintendo takes some notes and makes Nintendo Land 2
awesome video!
Great video! A Nintendo Land sequel was once something I thought was guaranteed at a point. But now its definitely a pipe dream considering Nintendo's reluctance to look back on some Wii U stuff. Not every element of Wii U was bad, so Nintendo Land deserves love through a sequel.
Your IP rep picks and the attractions were solid too. Kirby and Pokémon were the big omissions from the first game to me. But in hindsight... Pokémon missing makes sense. But Kirby has to be there for sure. And seeing a series like Xenoblade getting a theme park-like minigame sounds funny.
I also love how you kept ones like Metroid and Zelda pretty similar because those already had amazing base concepts. Especially Metroid. Latching onto the Air gunship was always fun. Only one I'm not fully on-board with is Pikmin. As theming it to one Pikmin type (especially with the interesting new types) and environment sounds a bit meh to me, but I can respect the idea for sure.
5:00 bro they look great
Maybe the Nintendo land 2 is the friends we made along the way 😭😭😭
Love that some revaped attractions feel more connected to their base game. The only exception being the Metroid one, which since the first game I thought it should be more centered around the stacking of abilities and exploration like a real Metroidvania. It would be cool if the different abilities allowed you to traverse the map in different ways to get an edge on your opponent.
One thing could be the time of day being implemented into the games. This could bring challenges to multiplayer games.
i think you should get skins for each games so you can have a fire mario skin if you want, or different colors for other skins so you can customize it how you like
Since kind most Wii U games that were ported to the Switch, most of them had deluxe in the name. So it should be called: Nintendo Land Deluxe.
Here's what my concept for a Nintendo Land 2 is:
Keep the online play concept that you have, but a way to get the classic two-screen games is... to have two Switches. Or someone play on a cellphone.
For the Pikmin Game I was thinking something like the Dandori Battles from Pikmin 4
My favorite part of the Wii u tbh, I still play it on the reg
When I saw you remembered RHYTHM HEAVEN my eyes just about popped outta my head!
this honestly would be such a perfect way to bring another wii u game to the switch. even if it's on the next console, I would buy it IMMEDIATELY.
I just hope Monita will be in the sequel.
I have so many freaking Fond Memories of Playing this Game with My friends, Especially Luigi's mansion and The Toad hunters Game
One thing that would be super important to me is multiple levels and levels of difficulty for each game and mode.
if the next switch has 2 screens this may be possible
This would absolutely be an online focused title to account for the asymmetry
Now that I’ve lost my Wii U when ever I see a game I’ve play on that one console, it regrettably make me feel a type of jealousy I hate.
Great video! I wish Nintendo Land got a sequel and it would be on the Switch instead of Wii U. Plus there's some attraction I want in Nintendo Land 2 like Star Fox, Kirby, etc.
Nintendo would be a perfect launch title for the next console. It has a little of everything for from everyone as well as introduces newcomers to Nintendo's many franchises. Here are some ideas I have:
Super Mario Climb: race to the top where you use Powerups to mess with your opponents
Kirby escape: Outrun Kirby before he rolls over you
Luigi's Spectral hotel: 4 players will try to take down a ghost by slammer it with their Poltergrabbers. The ghost will be able to attack them until their stunned for a short amount of time.
Punch-out Ring: You go into a ring a fight robot versions of Punch-out characters
Nintendo should make a 3D Mr. Game & Watch game.
Metroid Blast should have Mini Bosses at the end of every level.
11:56
The reason why there's no Kirby nor Pokémon game in Nintendo Land is because those franchises are not completely owned by Nintendo itself (Kirby is shared with HAL laboratories, and Pokémon with Game Freak & Creatures), also Fire Emblem (Intelligent System) and Xenoblade (Monolith Soft) are in the same case.
That's also the reason why we'll probably never see them in a Mario Kart game (for example).
But I loved your idea of the Kirby minigame, let's hope for the best and if they made another game like this, they include another iconic franchises
Just an honest recommendation on the team games, seriously simplify them. It's not supposed to be a dumbed-down version of the full game, (looking at Splatoon), it's supposed to be a new, creative take on a franchise. Like Luigi's ghost mansion. It's almost nothing like the real games, other than the theme itself. Also, seriously lean in to the online idea. Like, Luigi's mansion could work very, very well with online mode. I know that doesn't go into the local multiplayer idea, but it could work flawlessly.
Other than that, I love this idea.
Perhaps a radical idea, but I like the idea of the Switch 2 being a sort of "all-in-one" console. Both modes that the Switch has, but you can also use it like a DS, and the bottom screen of said "DS" is detachable and can be used as a Gamepad. Backwards compatible with Switch games, obviously, and a plethora of options for porting. I may be crazy, but eh.
While I thought this was a good video with a good couple of concepts, many of the mini games were too similar to the original franchises gameplay. Splatoon, Kid Icarus, Arms, Punch Out (I think), and Pikmin (kind of) were all just simplified takes on the original series’ gameplay. I feel like more original games would have been more in the spirit of Nintendo Land, as there wasn’t really a single game that was just the franchise but simpler. Many of the other games were hype and you basically had my guaranteed watch through with the rhythm heaven icon lol very nice👍
Nintendo land, and tomodachi life are 2 of the best games I have ever played, everyone relentlessly wants tomodachi to come back, but I desperately need both of these for switch to become the perfect console. This idea is golden.
Yes, I hope Nintendo makes it happen, probably for the next generation switch
For a Xenoblade one I'd kinda like it to almost be like a strategy chess game instead. Maybe having it similar to Clash Royale where there are cards that either summon monsters/mechon to attack the other colony.
Sometimes you'll get characters from the party that will be powerful and have special abilities that can include break, topple, daze, buster, shield, target lock, etc. While a the special characters are out you can spend your points on either playing more cards or when you have teammates on the battlefield you can select there arts to use for those points too.
i think local asymmetrical multiplayer can still work via the switch streaming to your phone (you'd still use a normal controller and inputs would still be processed through the switch)
It isn’t gonna happen. But, I would be thrilled to be proven wrong.
i just want a deluxe with new extra level and online multipayer
First time hearing about this. I never got a WiiU. But this idea is cute!
If the entire pikmin section is underwater you can have the waterwraith as a stage hazard/boss.
but you can't kill it without purples
This would be so cool
wee...need...THIS
Let’s make this video viral si Nintendo see this
Yessir!
nintendoland so underrated 🙏
For single player I would love to see a Nintendo 99 mode with the player being able to pick which 99 mode to play and it would have dedicated servers for each kind of 99 mode.
PLEASE I KNOW ITS VERY UNLIKELY BUT THAT GAME CREATED SO MNAY CHILDHOOD MEMROIES FOR ME 😭
¿Any Other Ideas?
¿Any Other Ideas?
If there was a nintendo land 2 i would want a single player action game were you ride oatchi and hit targets the shape of pikmin enimes for points!
Hey, I just watched your “History of Wuhu Island” video, I wanted to let you know that there is a free roam cycling mode on Wii fit+.
So many good memories on Nintendo Land! Let's hope we get a sequel!
I'm surprised you didn't try to incorporate the phone-to-Switch feature for some of the online games. It could add a whole new element to them. Like for the Super Mario Chase game, it could essentially be a big game of freeze tag, where the phone users play as Mario, Luigi, Wario, and Waluigi, while the toads are the one who play the Switch.
Also, for the Zelda game, wouldn't it be cool to have a mage class (who dresses up like zelda) and a ninja class (who dresses as sheik)?
Sheik could be able to transition from throwing needles (doesn't do much damage or break sheilds, but can be thrown more rapidly than arrows) for ranged attacks and a kodachi for close-ranged fighting (can't block but can dodge attacks).
I don't know what I'd do for Zelda's magic, but magic would add a new element to the game.
I think the new nintendo switch will have a 2-screen mode to fill the lack of non-portable games on the Wii U
A sequel like this should work for the next console.
