Back when the shops had personality and weren't laggy af :(
To me, it's about much more than the games. They are an incredible factor but their will always be ways to play them. Instead it's about the atmosphere, the memories, the music, and the nostalgia. I have so many important memories that revolve around the eShop and the 3ds as a whole. I won't miss this for the games, rather for the legacy and impact it had on my life.
You shall be forever missed eshop...

Luckily, its legacy will last thanks to the homebrew scene. I hope that we'll witness again a return of these chilly, round, colorful designs, their atmospheres and silly mascottes after the Switch era (since, unfortunately, it seems every of this was just scrapped at some point during development).
Despite how old this handheld the 3DS is, It's going to be one of the best things there is.
i sure hope we get something as special as the 3ds again someday.

Well, Ten years ago, Streetpass had four new games, and Monster Manor was one of my favorites with the mystery dungeon feel, and the custom guns. I was intrigued with the puzzle swap trying to get all pieces. Today, I still have the every piece of the panels I was able to collect. I still have my mii from 2012, but then all of these features are dead. I was rarely ever getting tags for games I wasnt even playing anymore. It was a ride...

Even if it was financial hell for Nintendo, I grew up with the Wii/3ds/WiiU era and I played the heck out of all of them, they're my childhood and will always have a special place in my heart.

I'll miss the legacy of both the wii u and the 3ds. They had very great games. I still play Super Mario 3D World and Tomodachi Life to this day.

I never used the ehsop to purchase games, I only got game cards, but I was always wandering around the eshop to see game trailers, reviews and THE MUSIC

This just makes me sad... Even the 3DS has so much going on with it and is so much more memorable than the switchs eshop... The switch eshop just feel soo empty and lifeless in comparison

To anybody reading (not that this video has a ton of views at the time of posting), I found out that there exists a Club Nintendo Japan-exclusive CD called Touch! Generations Soundtrack, which contains music from certain Wii and DS games in the Touch! Generations lineup, including Wii Sports and Nintendogs as well as some Japan exclusives and some music from the Wii System Channels. It's a pretty nice little CD and I wonder if there were any similar releases for the 3DS and Wii U.
thanks for giving me a trip down memory lane. I used both the 3ds eshop and wii u eshop and it makes me sad how it shut down so soon.
