This is the 1st of 3 series I have planned to come out soon. Let me know what you guys thought about it and the balance of the concepts. Also I’m still working out how I want to incorporate subtitles so they probably won’t be on the next few videos.
@@Nak_12 I can understand poco as personally I think it’s probably the second strongest one in this video but how so with Nita? For Bruce a 12% buff is not even half of what he would get from the pet gear (25%). And for Nita she would get a 15% one from the damage gear. Not only that but it restricts you to having to play within 5 tiles of Bruce to get the buff which is bad when facing piercing brawlers.
Pocos is a little too strong it should be buffed by 3 - 5 % and be 1 second shorter. That will make for more dinamic gameplay i think while keeping it balanced. Numbers could be different but you get the general idea. Keep up the great work !!!
i agree with the other comments that poco's gear is too strong, maybe a 10% buff is enough btw its nice to know you're trying out subtitles, im glad to know that you heard your community :D
I quite like the the gear concepts introduced here. I will say, I think Barley’s gear concept is a bit too similar to his Herbal Tonic gear. And I know there wasn’t a requirement for the gears to not overlap with a brawler’s current kit, but based off of the current Mythic gears in the game, they seem to add something extra to a brawler that can’t be found anywhere else within their kit.

I've had this idea in my mind for a long while now, mythic gear for Surge: [Idk a good name] What it does: depending on what stage Surge is in, his super will be further. Stage 1: normal range Stage 2: +1 tile Stage 3: +2 tiles Stage 4: +3 tiles If surge is already at stage 4 and uses super nothing changes

As a Barley main and a healer enthusiast, this mythic gear would be a dream came true. But playing against and with kit comps in the past few days, I think we need more brawlers that can cut healing as well. Like, we only have Crow, Byron with malaise and I believe Angelo with his puddle, but I might be mistaken. So maybe keep that in mind for future mythic gears! Also, Poco learned a few things from Max it seems XD
My ideas for mythic gears: Sam: magnetic field. After using his super, he can recharge his super automatically. Otis: piercing star. His super now can pass through walls and enemies. Buster: mimicry. Each of reflected projectiles will deal exactly same damage as enemies' projectiles. Ash: raised shield. After using his super, Ash will block next 4 attacks from the enemies. 8-bit: boosted booster+. Super can also increase reload speed by 15%. Lola: big ego. Her ego now able to shoot non stop even when Lola's ammo is out
I have issues with a few of them. Otis’ may be pretty broken but then again it’s rare for enemies to be clumped up plus his damage only hits one target Busters is awful, tons of enemies shoot lots of low damage projectiles, and remember that it only shoots some projectiles back, not all. 8 bits seems cool but that’s just a worse and more complicated reload gear
Oh also ash has the same issue as Buster, it could either block 20k damage of Mandy supers or near 2k worth of colt bullets, only blocking 2/3 of one colt ammo
I think Sam’s mythic gear could basically make it so his knuckles have a larger pickup range of around the same as his 2nd star power. This could hopfully allow him to pick them up easier off missed throws and would pair really well with natic’s sam rework idea
Mandys mythic gear: Superdelay is reduced by 50%: Playstile before: use super at long range Playstyle now: use super at mid/close range Superprojectle was very easy to dodge at close range -> only usable at longrange Now, with very little delay, this ins't a problem anymore -> a bit easier to hit at close than longrange

My mythic gear ideas: Buzz: Rapid Torpedo - Buzzes torpedo flies 20% faster Mortis: Dashingly Handsome - Mortis regains 0.3 ammo for every dash that doesnt hit an enemy Chuck: Healing Posts (or smth) - Chuck heals 300 hp for every post he reaches (1200 heal with one super with star power) Mandy: (Im so bad at names) - Mandy gains 20% speed buff for 5 seconds after leaving her focused form
Here's a couple ideas of my own: Cordelius. True Darkness. Cord can stay in the Shadow Realm for 2 seconds longer. Janet. [Insert Cool Name Here]. Janet's super breaks walls. Otis. Starburst. Otis' super explodes at the end of its range, silecing everything in a small area but for only half the normal silence duration. Bonnie. Adrenaline Rush. Bonnie gets a 12% speed boost after launching from her cannon. Melodie. Mood Swing. Melodie gains an additional dash but her dashes are a tile shorter. Darryl. ReRoll. Hitting an enemy with Darryl's super will extend the roll distance by 20%. This works on spawnables. Mandy. Weak Spots. Mandy's main attack does 15% extra damage when she's focused. Jessie. Spare Parts. Jessie can have 2 Sentries on the field at once, but the second one will always be 40% weaker than the first. Her Gadgets will only affect the stronger sentry but her Star Powers will work on both.
I really like these concepts, some of them may Be too strong (primarily the poco one) but even then all the concepts seem very unique and fresh compared to some of the mythic gears we have currently. Another 🔥video
I love your ideas for all of these. Colt's and Brock's are my favorites, introducing their personalities into their kits is brilliant. As for Shelly's, I think it'd be cool if her super healed her, I don't know hoe much, but I think it'd be cool because that's what she does in Squad Busters!
I think mythic gears are supposed to pair well with hypercharge, spike super being larger and slowing more, crow piercing and poisoning the whole team, Leon lasting longer in invis form, etc, but maybe that’s just because they are both related to their supers
These are really good ideas. I like how Brock’s fits in with his personality as well as having good counter play. I think colts might be a little too strong and it would further his main issue of being really good in lower skill lobbies due to people not knowing how to dodge. I like the reload idea, so I would make it so that he gains .1 ammo for every bullet he doesn’t hit. It might be bad to encourage a player to miss, and the “fans encouraging him hitting shots” concept would have to be tweaked a little to match, but it would lessen his noob stomping capibilities and would improve his consistency, which is the main reason he isn’t better in higher levels of play.
Gear is such a delicate environment. I'll be honest: I'm not sure about these gear that pumps the stats. The mythic gear of Mortis was such a happy choice of Supercell. It makes a difference, but not so many people could notice.
These are some cool changes. Honestly, I was surprised by the voice reveal last video, but I’m glad you’re being more confident in the community and sharing your real voice. I’ll be complete honest and say that the AI voice sounded really professional and great for analytical data, but I do like your real voice better. BTW, could you please check out my proposed balance changes on your last gear video and give me feedback. You’ve been ignoring them from quite some time and even though I know you’re probably busy, I’d really appreciate it❤ Keep up the great work. I love the new subtitles. Also, on your next rework poll, could you include Tara and Bull. They're really underwhelming at the moment, and Tara is so forgotten. I'd also love to hear your thoughts on Lily and Draco (first glance). I'm not sure how good they are rn.

No they are still coming out they just take a while to collect data on. The other ones came out faster as I already had a lot of ideas and stats before.
Cordelius ideas: 1)Mushroom Protection Cordelius gets a shield that reduces 30% of incoming damage for 2 seconds after leaving his super. 2)Homesickness Foes that gets sent to the shadow realm takes 5% extra damage each second. (since the super is 8 seconds it means they will take 35% extra damage at the last second) 8-bit idea: Juggernaut Whenever 8-bit gets a speed buff/debuff, apply it to his damage instead This one makes the plugged in sp just a better version of the other one so I dont like it very much, but ik you can cook up something better with this, perhaps for a different brawler
Surge gear idea: His splits are nearly useless, I can rarely get any use out of them. So what I would do is increase the size and range of the projectiles, I think that would help. Or I would make the splits have the tiniest bit of homing Just anything that makes them hit more
mythic gear idea for R-T: While spilt 20% of damage taken by the head will go to the legs (verry similar to protect protect) the for instance head takes 500 dmg legs take 355 dmg the damage taken by the legs can be reduces when using R-T's Recording star power so 500 dmg is 250 (the shield when not using the sp won't reduce dmg)
Im actually trying to do that right now but im struggling to make them balanced for both teams, as I always find a brawler that can completely destroy the game in my concepts 😅
@@Natics_BS you know, just think outside of the box, like for example let's say quick fire was op for certain characters like gene and Griff(it kinda is) then to nerf it, you can make it so that the total number of projectiles in the attack account for the amount of reload, basically, the more projectiles the less the reload is.
I agree with all of your ideas but i dont get the bull's gear point, im not a bull main my self but i can find it redundant specially if he does not cicle his super all the time, but lets say he manages to charge it 4 times he would had ran out of gadgets so he would be back to square one, dont know if you will read this but hope that you, I would more than happy if you respond and explain a bit more, hope you have a nice day man
Basically the gear would boost the damage of his super just enough to allow him to change some interactions and allow him to take out a lot of brawlers with less ammo. One of the main problems with bull is his short range and the fact that by the time he does go in with his super he is not as impactful as other brawlers. Since his whole thing is about being a juggernaut that tanks damage and deals off a ton of damage. I felt like he needed another way to boost his damage during super in the game. As his hypercharge already gave him another way to tank damage during his super.
Yeah I was hesitant on it but decided that it would be okay since it would force your teammates to have to run to a specific spot to get the healing. But maybe a nerf to like 7% of their max health
I don’t really care about the views. I made this channel to try and build a community that I can talk with about things I’m passionate about in the game. A majority of the people who constantly respond to my posts said they would rather have my voice. So I’d rather have a small strong community that feels more connected. Rather than a bigger one that feels distant due to the AI voice. The best example of this is that my grom video with only 10k views has almost as many comments as my gear one with 50k.

Jacky Gear idea: Drill Kill
Jacky restarts her jackhammer quicker after pulling enemies in. She can now attack sooner after using a super
driller time might be a better name for a time related ability but otherwise i like it

Collette mythic gear idea: inflation
Collettes minimum damage (basic attack and super) deal 500 more damage
I love the idea but 500 might be a bit too high especially when added with the hypercharge.

Bull is actually not necessarily bad, but his kit is unbalanced. He relies too much on his Stomper gadget and his Super isn't mechanically that good.
