I think a big update that reworks a lot of star powers to suite a brawlers niche or help reduce remove common counters would be highly appreciated a good percent of the brawlers just have starpowers that are just better in every situation compared to the other 😅
I really don’t think ash needs a rework he for sure is a fun brawler the only issue is he doesn’t fit well in the meta right now I’m sure if he got a hypercharge he would be very good aswell

Janet is just weak, she doesn’t really have any counter except her super, and I don’t really see many people play her. And for Ash, he’s just different. His play style, damage, everything. You require a lot of skill and time to develop that kind of skill to play Ash good. Ash does get boring if you don’t know how to play him correctly, and I am one of these people.
You should make a video where you rework the first six Hypercharges and make them less boring. Some ideas could be Colt firing two supers at once (like this || instead of this *l* ) or Jacky "stunning" the opponents at the center of the super

Janet is just weak. Ash is hard to play his play style is unlike other brawlers. If you miss your first ammo, you shouldnt attack because you cant get rage. You need to wait for first ammo then try again. Players just cant do this:/

Competitively he is almost never played because there are a lot of assassins that do his job better and more consistently. Other examples are Fang who was also never played and Darryl who was played once.
I had an idea where either a star power or hypercharge makes attacks slightly home in towards silenced brawlers. This would make his super more rewarding at long ranges.
I always thought Otis could have mechanic related to him being graffiti artist. For example, he could cover walls he shoots with paint. This could either do 1) slow nearby enemies 2) Poison nearby enemies 3) make the projectiles you painted the wall with explode, having increased hitbox to the likes of his gadget
Another great video! Really liked the changes overall specially the new mythic gear! But I just think the gadgets would be a bit underwelming but other than that the new kit defenitly sounds a lot better!
I think a fun idea for cordelius’s hypercharge could be for his super be increased in length aswell as it function similar to belles shots and super to further increase his support that meaning every tick of damage the super deals if any enemies are near the hit enemy the super can jump onto them aswell as the effected brawler take extra damage from all sources.
trust me, if you use his sleeping starfish gadget you'll have way more fun, i used it in siege and hot zone, it was so funny seeing emz users walk into it and then get silenced and annihilated
This is an incredible concept but I think it brings more changes to the table than what we could realistically expect from supercell so if I were to come up with a rework idea I would make his 4th bullet sp baseline and give his super a slowing ability that lasts longer the further the super travels before hitting an opponent as his new sp. I know this wouldn't fix his issues entirely but this is servicable and let's be honest, most brawlers have issues one way or another. That said, this is an incredible rework idea and even though it probably won't happen, I would love to see this rework in the game.
I feel like ash should have something about his shield, mainly because rn its just for esthetic looks and i feel it might have some incredible potential rather than just existing. Like a parry/block mechanic
I know I’m in the minority but when I do play Otis I actually really enjoy using dormant star, it’s a nice way to cycle supers and if you play around where you land a super you can counter tanks very easily usually being able to chain two supers on a tank completely shutting them down, I just think that its potential of super cycling and if you do miss a super when trying to hit a brawler from a longer range away that super isn’t wasted completely especially when ur enemy is trying to strafe on you it gives you a good opportunity to try and pinch them with the super on the ground. TLDR: I think dormant star is super fun and has untapped potential

My idea for Otis's super, would be to reqork it this way : now it shoots a stream of 8 projectiles, each projectile mutes/whatever the effect is called for 0.5 seconds , this way he is more fun, however, i believe that his super's damage and mure duration would have to be reduced, since it deals more instant damage now, it also means its more spam-able. You could also add an effect to his super, instead, where he cannot mute the same person in the duration of 5 seconds.
Great rework and I loved how you looked at all of Otis's gameplay aspects and his playstyle! Otis is such an interesting brawler and I think he's somewhat similar to Meg before her rework. A pretty good brawler overall, but just very boring to play. He's also like Chester before his rework in that he's very reliant on his Ink Refills Star Power. Here's my take on reworking Otis, considering this in mind. Otis’s projectile spread will be slightly increased and two blobs will be slightly closer. This is similar to Meg’s change, but not as much. With this, he will be able to cover slightly more area while two of his blobs would be close together. So two waves of two. Otis's Ink Refills Star Power is now baseline. Similar to Chester, I'd definitely make this Star Power baseline. Otis's main attack damage decreased from 460 to 420 damage per blob Your change makes the most sense, considering Ink Refills is now baseline Dormant Star reworked: Superstar: Otis's next Super can now bounce on walls and has increased range. This will make Otis's Super more unique and allow you to use wall to your advantage. It will also allow you to use his Super at longer ranges and pair well with my new Star Power idea. Phat Splatter reworked: Paint Trail: Otis's next attack will leave a wide trail of paint (similar to Charlie's Slimy). The trail will slow enemies down and deal 400 damage per second to enemies that step on it. The trail lasts for 3.3 seconds and enemies that step on the trail will spread the trail for 0.8 seconds. This will give Otis a new form of area control but more unique and goes well with his paint attack. It would be balanced by the fact that it doesn't last as long and it doesn't deal as much damage. Stencil Glue reworked: Sapping Cil: Enemies affected by Otis's Super deal 20% less damage This will add a supportive aspect to Otis’s Super by allowing it to reduce the enemies damage. Ink Refills reworked: Speedy Star: Otis’s Super travels up to 18% faster (3200 -> 3800 speed) depending on how far he travels (20% faster with Superstar). If Otis’s super hits an enemy at max range, the Super will release a small explosion after the duration ends, slowing all enemies. (I’m not sure how long the duration could be) I really liked your Mythic Gear and HC idea, so I don’t really have any changes for that. I hate that Otis has such a low pick and player base, I really enjoy him whenever I do play him. I think his problem stems from there being controllers that are just flashier or more obnoxious in the game rn like Sandy, Amber, Charlie, my main Gene, and others stealing the spotlight away. I know a lot of controllers are really strong rn and the competition is stiff, but people forget how deadly his super can be as silence is probably the best status in the game next to full stuns

Basically everytime Cil does an attack it also releases a slow radius, think like Pam’s heal gadget, that slows everyone in the radius for 1 second including the muted brawler. Also we have had brand new mechanics introduced with hypercharges before. Namely Colette’s, el primos, and max’s. Colette is kinda a reimagining of Lola’s super. El primo was the first brawler to feature a Knock - up mechanic, while was later mimicked in Draco. And max’s thrown energy drinks were the first abilities to give teammates supercharge.

i dont want to seem like a dick, but, would it be possible if we could get some onscreen subtitles? I understand if that could be a pain to do for every video and i do heavily enjoy the mic more than the ai voice, its just a bit difficult to understand some bits of the video audibly personally.
All fine I understand how my accent can be hard to understand, which I why I did add a few subtle text boxes in the video. I don’t think exact subtitles could work for these type of videos just due to the amount of time they take to make, but I could use more of those summary boxes.
I hate this idea, why? Because not all us of find a brawler boring, so if people don’t like it they can just not play it I am convinced of this viewpoint because of meg

I completely understand as catering to beginners is not always the best option, but in what ways do you think it took away from his strategic playstyle. I felt like at the higher levels of play the only changes would be him have better gadgets, more build versatility, and less damage in exchange for better star powers.
@@Natics_BS ah well, making ink reffils base kit was a good idea but his attacks piercing would make them feel kinda... less impactful? managing your ammo wouldnt be as thoughtful anymore, as well as his first gadget which was useful everywhere being replaced by some random dash
@@ailynn14ahh the gadgets I understand not liking them if you are more accustomed to the regular ones. I think the roll (dash) would definitely be the one I keep in his kit if you also want to keep ink splatter, because his current kit lacks any expression of his personality. Also the reason I went with the piercing gadget as well was to boost the development of him gaining a new archetype of being the 1v1 master. Able to adjust his build to any situation, but unable to handle too much pressure due to his slow unload and reload speed. As well as his primarily single targeted kit.

@@Natics_BS ah well, making ink reffils base kit was a good idea but his attacks piercing would make them feel kinda... less impactful? managing your ammo wouldnt be as thoughtful anymore, as well as his first gadget which was useful everywhere being replaced by some random dash

@@ailynn14ahh the gadgets I understand not liking them if you are more accustomed to the regular ones. I think the roll (dash) would definitely be the one I keep in his kit if you also want to keep ink splatter, because his current kit lacks any expression of his personality. Also the reason I went with the piercing gadget as well was to boost the development of him gaining a new archetype of being the 1v1 master. Able to adjust his build to any situation, but unable to handle too much pressure due to his slow unload and reload speed. As well as his primarily single targeted kit.
