Is this every track in the original UT99? I know a kinda dumb question but I wanted to be sure, there's a lot of tracks in that game.

@@PartyQuest I’m 25 now, I remember sharing a pc with my twin brother and playing modded servers like rocket x, monster hunt and sniper gamemodes, participating in clan wars, and overall having a great time.

I played UT. Then I built my own projects with the UT Editor and listened to UT music. Then I got jobs. Now I have a good life as a freelancer working with the Unreal Engine. The game changed my life.

The younger generation will never understand the intensity this game brought at the time. It was epic...
Same feeling I have when I try to explain to my nephew why Battlefield 2 and Counter Strike (or Source for my generation) were so amazing. He's not interested and just wants some V-bucks to spend on Fortnite.

When BF2 was released was CS short before dying. My first CS Version was 0.56b. CS changed the style were LAN Partys get organised and how to handle with cheaters. We had more Anti-Cheat Hardware as Software. It was a wooden club hanging from the wall and was called SKM "Script-Kiddy Musher".
That's true but tbh today games are also quite intensive. I'm pretty sure the younger generation will say the same about games like Fortnite in like 20 years lol. But I get what you mean, at the time UT was released, it was just insane to experience something like this.

Please, dont say "Fortnite". Its exactly this bunny hopping & ADHD game which has UT pushed away. Epic has decided to not make an UT Game again ... UT was once the Demo Showcase Game for the Unreal Engine. The big difference between UT and Fortnite is, that the "Fortnite Mode" can be easily implemented in UT, because its just a Defender & Battle Royal Mode. Compared with the Game Modes UT come with is Fornite just a bad joke.
I wish the internet back when IT knowledged was needed to access the it. The place of the intellectuell was at this time truly a better one in all cases.

Both 10 year old me and 30 year old me are so, so thankful that this exists. Much respect to all involved.
This was the peak of video game music across all of civilization
Now imagine if they made a UT99 remaster with this as the OST.

I rather not. Every remaster is always really a reimaginig to try to hook into what ever the establishment is talking about.
If they call the original team to make it, then I don't see why not.
I'd love to see it happen and would but it without thinking even for a second.
I'd like to see the Ripper back, old maps but with renewed textures, but if they change too much of gameplay or map design, it might hurt the nostalgia 😣 and as R H said, often remakes are worse than originals.
I'd say they should make a new UT, with new AND old content renewed (Ripper pls!) And also if they could and the Chaos UT as an option, it would turn awesome depending on how they work on/balance it.

Я раньше уже оставлял тут комментарий. Оставлю еще раз. Спасибо вам, я более ста раз переслушал это. И сейчас засыпаю под это видео на телеке. Эпики должны тебе заплатить за работу и выложить это в эплмузик как минимум!
Now this is what I call DEDICATION. Not only has each song been remixed with the utmost care so as to not differ too much from its original counterpart while simultaneously expanding upon them, but you also did the entire album AND released it for free! It's great to see the original UT still get love like this, shame we probably won't ever see another game like it again. Big up for the effort man, you've earned it! 🤘
Dont be so pessimistic. The Fortnite thing will only run so far. Trends are cyclical, eventually studios will come back to developing hardcore CTF type games with VR interfaces. Besides if Epic dont do it, pretty sure AI will be at a point in 10-15 years where it can generate whatever you want it to. The new youth can have their blockcraft and cell shaded build em ups, I'll have another dose of flak gun mayhem.
You keep the UT99 spirit alive, which is not a small feat. Hats off to you, sir.

Очень большим наслаждением было находиться в эфире вместе с людьми с разных концов света во время премьеры, слушать вместе невероятно крутую музыку, отсылающую куда-то на 25 лет назад, во время детской увлечённости компьютерными играми.
Тобой была проделана какая-то невероятная работа, переоценить которую, вероятно, просто невозможно. Абсолютно все композиции выполнены просто на недосягаемом уровне. Хочется выбрать какой-то эпитет, чтобы обозначить свой восторг... но начиная перебирать, просто не могу остановиться: фантастически, космически, шикарно, невероятно, мощно, великолепно, превосходно...
Спасибо! Спасибо за то, что не остановился. За то, что довёл работу до логического конца. За то, что продолжаешь и дальше нести нам минуты счастья.

Мазершип сделал для анрила, но без боевых частей, чисто эксплорейшен, а это не то, хотя миксы-то отличные.

A "thank you" for this tribute is long overdue. I play this album in the background for some nostalgic ambience several times every week. Have been for months. Grew up on UT'99 and still revisit it every now and again. This album breathes some fresh air into my childhood memories. Really special this is. Thank you

In last 20+ years I have listened to original UT music (modplug, xmplayer) and each and every remix I've occasionally listened to was not good enough in comparison to the original. Up until the day I've listened to your remixes on soundcloud for the first time. You respect the original creators like nobody else and yet you expand their work in the BEST possible way beyond imaginable. I enjoy your remixes very much and for that I am grateful forever. I used to play other shooters more than Unreal Tournament but there's something about the UT99 aesthetic that resonates with me more than any other game of this genre 25 years later and this album not only captures that but greatly enhances the original work. Thank you for making this free.

Dieser Soundtrack war so gut, dass er eigentlich keiner Remixe bedurfte;
wohl deswegen hat man sich echte Gedanken gemacht und nicht einfach was zusammengemixt.
Somit mag ich auch Stücke hören, die ich früher eher mied.
Mein Lieblingsstück Mech. 8 jedoch ist zwar auch nicht schlecht, abers Original bleibt besser.

It's a testament to the quality of Foregone Destruction that they put it into Fortnite completely unedited, but this is the first time in a long while I've heard a remix that didn't disappoint me in the slightest. Excellent work.

I just recently installed the Unreal Tournament Game of the Year Edition from the original cd! It installs and plays perfectly on Windows 10. Awesome game, and awesome work with the remixes 😊

I've only gotten into the Unreal Tournament '99 soundtrack recently, but these are great reinterpretations that are livelier, yet faithful the original versions. This is phenomenal work.

If I'm not listening to rock or metal, this is the shit I like listening to! Instrumental musical that is classical in influence, but not sound as that is found in EDM/Techno to bring it up to modern standards. Without vocals it is more of a challenge to write interesting and captivating music that doesn't "bore the listener". This succeeds on every level! GREAT JOB!

В далёком 2001-м году, когда мне было 6 годиков, в нашем доме появился компьютер. И первой игрой, которую я на нём запустил, оказался Unreal Tournament. С того момента у меня просто не было шансов не стать игроком в арена-шутеры.
За всё это время наиграны многие тысячи часов на арене, но я уже даже не помню, когда последний раз возвращался к UT99. И когда я услышал тайтл, игравший в интро при запуске игры, у меня не просто свело олдскулы. У меня свело всё, что можно: челюсть, руки, ноги и даже жопу. Сначала я очень пытался не заплакать. Не получилось. Два часа рыдал как сучка.
Альбом просто охуенный. Второй день слушаю плейлист из ремиксов в перемешку с оригиналами из всей серии UT. Очень жду ремиксы из UT2004. Готов рыдать ещё два часа.
Спасибо, что вернул в детство и телепортировал на арены из любимой игры! Моё почтение.
