@@jdanger_sanders I mean, those kinds of drum beats have been around a loooong time. It's essentially swing; it may as well be a Buddy Rich tribute. Obviously all the zappy lead lines over the top do evoke a certain flavour of two-step, but acid bass is a thing and predates dub step also. Mind you the commercial exploitation of the style was a dark time, but it comes to all genres people like in one way or another and in any case these things always pass :)

I saw The Tiberian Sons play live with their hero a couple years back. Imagine how they must've felt when he brought them in the studio to do the official OST for the remake.
I hate EA, but I also hate the people who whined and 1 star-review bombed literally every C&C related thing after Kane’s Wrath (2008) like this was the Fallout franchise or something, and ruined all chances of ANY new C&C/Red Alert game of any quality level ever coming out again. It’s why none of us will see a C&C4 before we die
Here's my tip. Infantry stands no chance against an armored vehicle, so whenever you play a game, always try to get tanks as soon as possible, it will make your life easier. Engineers are insanely OP in the remaster, as you no longer have to damage a building before you can capture it.

Finally a true remastered soundtrack the number of people claiming it’s the remastered soundtrack for it to be the old soundtrack. They’re both good but the remaster is just amazing.
Both are remastered lol. You easily tell the newer ones sound a lot better than their 90s counterpart. Probably has original studio quality recording compared whatever bit crushed music they had in original to make it work with PC speakers and CD space of their time.

This is beautiful. It's incredible to think we can have the same exact composer stick with this series and pump out incredible soundtracks and even remaster the old ones that made him known as the absolute god he is. Fucking loved these games and this remaster does the old OST justice, love it

This whole thing is glorious, but I think Warfare remastered is some of the slickest, meanest and most energetic axe work Klepacki has put to recording. That palm muted chugging? So damned good.
My favorite one is "Rain in the Night", it has such a magical atmosphere in it, like when the fights are stopped for the night and people could just sleep under the raining night up to the sunrise, when the fights are started again...

it's interesting how the remastered tracks sound awesome, but since they're not exactly the same sound (lowbit etc and less neuanced) as the originals, they don't remind one exactly of the orignals so they don't have the same nostalgia factor, BUT EVEN STILL, they're amazing! good job Frank Klepaki !!!!

My favorite one is "Rain in the Night", it has such a magical atmosphere in it, like when the fights are stopped for the night and people could just sleep under the raining night up to the sunrise, when the fights are started again...

it's interesting how the remastered tracks sound awesome, but since they're not exactly the same sound (lowbit etc and less neuanced) as the originals, they don't remind one exactly of the orignals so they don't have the same nostalgia factor, BUT EVEN STILL, they're amazing!
