It depends: I play a 5 colored Chaos Deck with Esika as commander. She is kind of a "stable" manafixing dork, but the deck runs no tutors, no ramp, nor mana rocks except Arcane Signet. Green got some wierd chaos pieces, but is more a red or blue thing... 😅
My 5 color deck is an eldrazi deck and is full of colorless eldrazi cards with a splash of other colors in it that are mostly all tutors or X = damage spells to make use of all the ramp.
@@natelagrassa9337 commander was released back in 2011 but was being played before then. My friend group and I played edh back in 2010 when rofellos was legal. Thank God that card was banned 😆.
I’m building a Vaevictis Asmadi the Dire deck and my play group Is so excited to play against it. The idea of everyone ripping bombs off the top or duds is so fun to me.
Garth one Eye is my most fun and versetile deck i have. Its a blink, tap etb (control) deck all at once. Garth is the most toolbox commanders out there....
Does Lazac work with Extract from Darkness? I would think his ability wouldn't work since you're removing the creature from the graveyard and putting it in the battlefield
My most fun commander to play with is my bristly bill deck, but it's also my least fun to play against. I do have a zombie tribal that's fun all around, though, when im not infinite zombie tokening
It's in the title.... fun. I know fun is a pretty foreign concept to most people these days who strive to be sad about everything. 👍 Glad I could help.
@@niceoneman5150 basic logic and common sense is a pretty foreign concept too. If a commander is fun, then another one that does the exact same thing in the same colors with better mana efficiency is going to be fun as well. Probably more fun considering it does the fun thing with less effort. And wtf does that have to do with striving to be sad? What about my comment made any indication of that? Yet another example of basic logic and reasoning being a foreign concept to you. How that helps!
I mean...maybe people just like Mayael the character though "something else is more efficient" is not always part of the equation people build decks out of actually trash cards just because they like the trash doesn't matter if something out there is "better".
None of these look fun to me but i got Timmy problems. If my deck isn't spilling over with big stompy jank creatures with absurdly high mana costs then I'm not playing magic lol
Ummmmm, at least in my area Xantcha really won't work well at all. It will simply be sac'd. Jon Irenicus does it right, with the 'no sac' clause. I'd consider putting her in the 99 in with Jon if the colors were right...
5 color decks are just green decks splashing other colors

My 5 color decks are pretty balanced but I make them more as fun play not really for winning
@@jefbessey551 Therefore it's casual commander, isn't it?
Aren't all decks just green decks pretending to be something else? There is only one color of mana, GREEN! ;)

one of the most fun deck to me is "Henzie toolbox Torre"... one of my favorite ever
I just recently built Selenia as a life swap deck and dear lord it's a good time definitely one of my most fun/unique decks
Awesome video. This is the content I come here for!
I like this kind of content. My favorite fun deck to play is Ivy Gleeful Spellthief, which I call Stole-tron.
Looks like I'm gonna have some new decks to build.
I have a Mayael dino theme deck. It honestly wiffs quite often. But when it comes online, it's pretty fun. A trip back to ixalon wouldn't hurt.
Lost Caverns of Ixilan released last year. :)
Can confirm Mayael is fun. I miss my Mayael deck.
I can confirm as well. My oldest commander since 2010🎉
@@drbeetheemighty🤨🤨 commander came out in 2011?? And I’ve been playing since ‘01…
I told mine apart cause the power creep got crazy… it was hard to make her a solid 7… she was either too much of a glass cannon or way to good…

I enjoy Leonardo da Vinci and he doesn’t draw much aggro unless I cycle portal to phyrexia 🤷🏻♂️😂
You telling me to “blink” with “one-eye”???
I’m building a Vaevictis Asmadi the Dire deck and my play group

I would love a video on the Selenia Dark Angel. That seems so dumb in the best way and I need it on my life

Can confirm pramikon is fun I have a pramikon chaos deck that's a lot of fun
"Burninating" I see you
Finally, some good fucking food
Gonna be handing out Moo Deng to my opponents 😂
What is the point in playing Mayael when Atla Palani exists?

@niceoneman5150 ...right, because doing the exact same thing with a more mana efficient commander is sad and not fun. Stfu
