One alternative to Lightning Greaves I've been running for the protection is Winged Boots. The ward 4 makes things very tough to target, and the flying has come in clutch multiple times too.
Ward 4 is often better than shroud/hexproof because there are creatures and lands that can temporarily remove hexproof and shroud. But ward 4 will never be removed and IF they are willing to pay ward 4 to remove your commander you basically won that exchange. Like you actively want someone to pay ward 4 lol
Prismatic Geoscope just needs lands with basic land types, not necessarily the basic lands themselves. So 2 Triomes would likely get you to the maximum of 5. Also if you're in a 4 color deck that's missing green or black, you could still get up to 5 if an opponent has Yavimaya or Urborg.
I have a Heroic Intervention and don't even play it. There are so many spells that get around indestructible nowadays that the card isn't worth the money anymore. There is Blasphemous Edict, Farewell, Cyclonic Rift and any other spells that use the words sacrifice, exile or bounce (that is return to owner's hand).
I’m surprised that you didn’t mention Tamiyo’s Safe Keeping as an alternative to heroic intervention. It does all the same things but only for one creature (say like your commander).
My favourite replacement for Lightning greaves in Izzet is Clout of the Dominus. It is an enchantment for just 1 mana (either blue or red) that reads: "As long as enchanted creature is blue, it gets +1/+1 and has shroud. As long as enchanted creature is red, it gets +1/+1 and has haste." So yeah. 1 mana to make your commander untargetable and give it +2/+2 and haste for the rest of the game. Seems like an absurd card to me. Also, it being an aura makes it more difficult to deal with in my opinion. If you are playing a commander with at least Izzet identity that is going to be focused down quickly, try out Clout of the Dominus for less than a dollar!
I see Royal Treatment and so I recommend Gaea's Gift. It costs 1 more, but can be used to block a flyer, kill someone with trample or survive a boardwipe.
I'm kinda surprised the Ravnica charms (Boros, Golgari and Simic) weren't mentioned for the alternative Heroic Intervention cards (though I can understand Boros Charm to some extent). Another missed card here was Wail of the Nim and Dark Dabbling, though I'll admit it's rare for black to have mass regeneration spells available. For the Temur Ascendancy alternatives, I would've added there Rhythm of the Wild, Emblem of the Warmind, and the OG enchantment with haste, Fervor.
Arbor Elf is another good alternative to BOP if you have lands with multiple basic land types. And there are plenty of those nowadays that could make it work.
One big issue with Temur Ascendancy is the fact its three colors making it unusable in a deck that isn't running blue. I'm surprised you would mention Garruk's Packleader but not Elemental Bond which is arguably better. They both draw off of creatures with power 3 or greater entering but Packleader costs 5 while Bond costs 3 and creatures are more susceptible to removal.
Appreciate the detailed breakdown! Just a quick off-topic question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
9:32 Prismatic Geoscope adds mana based on the number of basic land TYPES, among lands you control. These lands do not need to be basic lands to have basic land TYPES. Shock lands, surveil lands, original duals, triomes etc, count towards Domain. This means that you can still get 5 mana out of this even if you're not in a 5 colour deck, if you have something like Prismatic Omen, or Dryad of the Ilysian Grove, the token from Overlord of the Hauntwoords, or a counter from Omo, Queen of Vesuva, or steal lands from your opponents with Share the Spoils, Gonti, Rootweaver Druid etc.

Same! This card has been slept on since it came out and I run it any blue decks where my commander needs to stick

Unbreakable Formation works rather well too, had this card in one of my decks until I was able to get a Heroic Intervention.

Tyrvas something or other does the same for an optional +x/+x pump

Talking about lightning greaves, I want something that just gives 'utility haste' (you can tap creatures for their abilities, not to attack)
Great content! Make more of this please!🙏🏻
