I'd like to like Bree for her charisma, but if we think seriously, she's a rather evil woman who ruined lives of many good people. She was a tyrant at home, she raised her kids in order (like Umbridge - "I will have order!") rather than love, branded them from the start ("and this is my son, the criminal"), was never supportive for the longest part of her life (until the last seasons of the series), was willing to kill Rex just because he cheated on her (which in the first place started because of how coldly and rudely she treated him) and her manipulative affairs with George eventually led to both Rex's and George's deaths. When she met Orson, he was a great guy, but her double standards, behavior and decisions led him to jail, wheelchair and overall ruin of his life. Karl is dead because of fight with Orson over Bree. Her secrets from Chuck led him to his grave as well. Her daughter is a mess (for which Bree's lack of upbringing skills is at least partially responsible), her son was too for a long time and instead of trying to talk to him and solve the problems through dialogue, she only ever escalated the conflict by sending him to the camp or kicking him out of her home. Her relationship with her own kids and partners were, just like everything else for her, a kind of a war she must win at all costs to make everything the way she wants it to be, regardless of others' desires and feelings. Without a doubt, she's the worst person of the 4 main housewives.
@@Leonion6 u do realize Bree didn't kill Rex, right? And u do realize that Rex had an affair because he is masochistic, and Bree had nothing to do with that, right?
@Nevertalksss, you do realize she did contribute to his death when she intentionally spent god knows how much time slowly making a bed when Rex had to be rushed to the hospital asap? So he was just sitting there on the stairs slowly dying until his daughter woke up and saw him and hurried Bree.
This woman (Marcia Cross) is SO beautiful to watch. I Know she is playing a character (Bree) the character is so funny and beautiful too, but Miss Cross is an example of how beautiful and sexy a woman can be in her 50s (or late 40's as she probably is in these clips.

ONE OF THE FUNNIEST MOMENTS which isn't in the video is when they raided George's house after he died and Bree walking out with the cops carrying a mannequin of her right behind.
Bree has always been my favourite Marcia cross played this character so well she’s tightly wound smart yet funny and she takes no bullshit but she will bake you a pie as a warning lol
@@scouser2010ifyif you have Hulu, all seasons are on there. If you are into drama type shows, this is it. Just a heads up, Kimberly starts off as a doctor, involved with another doctor who is married. All hell breaks loose. The cast is big but the show is worth that watch.

I thought the way the show handled Bree and Orson relationship was shit. It was clear they wanted more drama for Bree instead of having her be happy, so they made Orson be a petty thief who couldn't handle his wife's success and in the end, even left her to be put in jail, so out of character. I hated it because I thought they were absolutely perfect together, and in the hands of writers not hell bent on screwing up good relationships for drama, Orson and Bree would be endgame canon.
+Garden Rose i think this also happened with gaby! her wanting her biological child she had just met over the child she spent years raising just because she acted more like her?? that made her seem like such a bad person when she was supposed to have grown by then.
That Orson Bree fallout was just too bizarre. I preferred having them kill off Orson's character instead. Orson saved Bree's relationship with her kids and she saved him from his crazed mother and ex wife. In the end it all feels like if it was for nothing.
When I first started watching this show in my 20s, I liked Susan. But now at 42 (I'm watching all of it again) I REALLY hate Susan and Lynette and have such a high admiration for Bree. Of all of them, she was the one who had the greatest character arc. She grew so much - grew into loving her son, grew into accepting a little chaos in her life, all the way being poised Bree...always ready with a smile, a gun and fresh baked muffins.
Omg. I laughed SO HARD when she tried to seduce him with her dancing. “Well, if you’re having a stroke we’re gonna make quite the team.” 🤣:🤣:🤣 “I don’t know why tea parties have fallen out of fashion, they’re SO MUCH FUN.” - I agree with Bree. Also, coffee parties. Coffee parties are FUN. 😀💕
If I can to live again as a teenager and had to choose a mother, I'd be choosing Bree over and over again. She is a fantastic homemaker. I like eating fancy food and like seeing everything is in perfect order in my house. Plus, she is very protective of her family and knows how to use guns and rifles!
I love Bree honestly, but if I were you, I wouldn’t choose her as my mother 🤦🏻♂️ I do agree with your points of her homemaking skills and keeping things in order, but it was HERS 😐 Her rigid upbringing to her children would be a nightmare to think of
