Eva Longoria's comedic timing and delivery are highly underrated.
I always thought she was easily the funniest one on the show.
She's a good comedic actress. But she isn't versatile, her acting range is limited to comedic roles.
It helps that her personality in real life is kinda the same. Bubbly and easy going. She was perfect as Gaby, can't imagine another actress playing her.
I love the fact that Carlos know obviously that Gaby is lying but he still play the game and admit defeat when she manages to make this cake without letting any proof that she was faking

I covered for my best friend when she was with her boyfriend and her mom called me and thought she was with me. so I told her mom she's in the bathroom and she will call you back she did not buy it and said to put her on the phone anyways, so I did a genius thing. since we had 2 separate phone lines for each floor I used one which was wireless, I called my best friend's boyfriend. asked him to put her on the phone and then I put the phones upside down on each other. They talked and then everything was cool. The mother did not suspect anything. Good times good times :-)))))))

You should check out “Lost” that show premiered the same year as Desperate Housewives and instantly became a worldwide success!
Considering Gabby doesn't really cook or bake, it is unlikely that she would have the ingredients for cake in the house. I know it's just a show, but it bugs me.
It also cracks me up that Eva Longoria is apparently an amazing cook in real life while Marcia Cross can barely cook at all!

And another thing is the towel, how come it hangs clean on carlo’s shoulder since it was laying on a half-baked cough,it must have been sticky.

To me Susan felt like the most depressing/gloomy part of the show (and I'm pretty sure she cried more often than any other housewives) while other characters were more "comedic", "light", energetic.
Susan was the absolute worse for me. She was always crying and whiny for no reason. And, she always seemed to pretend to be so nice when at the same time she goes and does questionable things.
